I was so hyped when i saw the picture foresty posted! I love both channels and the videos are just awesome! But one thing about your bus worries me. Shouldn't the battery connector on the back be pointing down or at least sideways? If it points up water will short it out when it rains or won't it?
You know you watch these channels too often when he rolls up to random bus in the woods and you instantly know the greatest crossover special of 2021 is about to happen.
I admire anyone that can hike mountains. I had a by-pass in my knee when an artery closed when I was 35. After that, I couldn't run more than a 100 yds. Now at 70, it hurts to walk.
I luv this comment! I’m a Stevie too lol I watch the Camping with Steve video and then this one popped up a while later.. awesome to see both sides! Nice to meet you Foresty Forest! I’m a new follower! Great idea to do a collaborative experience!
You knew he was offended by someone calling the OG crock pot "trash" when he looked into the camera and repeated their words. SMH to the person that made that comment. One love to the crock pot tho!
As are we, his loyal long time dedicated viewers. I mean if you are a serious fan here, you know the history of the crockpot. 12 Jan 2020, the first appearance of the crock pot and i quote. " I don't have anywhere to store this thing, so after i make up my sandwiches, i'm probably gonna take it right back to the thrift store". 23 Jan 2020, the third appearance of the crock pot and i quote. " I've decided that i'm gonna use the thrift store slow cooker one more time, maybe a few more times actually" And the rest is history :) It's so funny looking back, and how a simple house hold appliance can change a persons life.
Indoor gardening advice: pots need to have drainage holes so get a plastic pot with drainage holes to place inside the crockpot. The most effective way to harvest salad greens is called the “cut and come again” method. Sprinkle a good bunch of seeds in there and when they germinate thin them so that they each have about 2 inches of space. Once they grow to be about 4-5 inches tall, you can give the whole thing a little haircut and it will all grow back. You can do this 5-10 times depending on the variety before the leaves will start to grow back bitter and tough and at that point you can start the whole process over again.
What a treat for you to meet up with Steve! He is where I learned of you! I've only watched a few of your videos so far, but you never fail to render me awestruck with the climbing and camera work you do! Hours and Hours. It makes me dizzy just seeing those ridges under foot! Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for not throwing the crock pot away, you've been through so much together, I think it's earned a permanent spot , EVEN if it can't work anymore👍🏿 Loyalty!
Bubby, that is absolutely incredible adventure documentation of lovely Earth. Thank you. I just got home from 10 hours in the baking sun(98 degrees F.) planting native plants to restore a wetland in the dense urban Minneapolis/St Paul city of hope. Can't wait to escape to chill in the woods for a week. Peace out. Thank you for sharing.
Agreed! And harvesting those greens when they’re little is a great idea, delicious. To be fancy, you can call them “micro greens.” It’s totally a thing.
This video feels like knowing two friends who you think don’t know each other....But they in fact do know each other and had an adventure and didn’t invite you lol
@@BigMacProDaddy Mav is another TH-camr who lives in the back of his truck he's based out of Minnesota, but travels all over the country. Right now he's down in Mexico. Interesting guy.
Foresty Forest, he sews in his van, Foresty Forest! Was fantastic to see you guys finally meet! Interesting concept for the new life for your crock pot, looking forward to seeing how that goes, but I suspect you'll run out of room pretty quick.
OMG - I’m so impressed - Forest is a sewer (his sewing ability - not a waste pipe) as well as a mechanic, cook, …..the list just keeps on going. A man of many talents. So much fun watching you as we never know what you will be sharing. Thanks for letting us tag along.
Love Steve Wallis, was a massive treat to see you guys together... would like to see more meet ups. If I didn't love my motorcycle and trailer, and tent camping so much, I'd get something that's a cross between Foresty's van and Steve's bus
Hey Forest! One piece of advice, if you want to grow any kind of plant in a pot or any kind of container you need to have drainage, so a hole or two for the excess water would be great. Keep it up!
I'm really lazy about pots so I've used lots of pots without holes and my plants do well inside. I'm just careful not to overwater. Pots without holes outside is not a good idea.
What a surprise! I am so glad I didn't read the title of this episode. Steve is amazing. I absolutely could not walk a trail like that...even not looking over the side. Just knowing it was there, I'm sure would cause me to blackout. Great show guys. The only thing that could have made it better for me, would have been if you guys had run into Greg on the trail.
Two mega TH-cam stars meet up! Thank you both. Ok so Steve did not have a stellar performance on the hike, but he tried. What will the encore be? Foresty stealth camping with Steve under a bridge, by a graveyard, at a highway rest stop???
this is where I found your channel, while watching Steve Wallis. I looked you up and haven't regretted, at all. I really enjoy watching the good channels with real, good people, that are down to earth and truly love the outdoors. Thanks again for all the wonderful views and adventures.
The level of awkward excitement between the two of you was priceless, I love it so much. It's pretty mindblowing to me that you two got to meet up, I've been watching you both independently and never even considered a crossover.
Fantastic. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed watching you and Steve togather. Greetings from Indianapolis, Indiana from a 85 year old. Solid sewing skills...I have been sewing for over 40 years and was just telling my husband what type of patch you should make, and you did it!! Nice job
Steve: love your bus man. Be proud. It looks very comfortable and roomy. Love the winch and the idea of the snatch block. Good thinking there. A little worried about your exposed outdoor rack for your propane, but only because some bad person might make mischief for you.
Haven't commented in awhile so thought I would let you know that it was great to watch both yours and Steve's videos on the collab. What up Steve,
the crossover we all deserve!

The grin was unstoppable the minute I recognized that bus! Yeah, we have a problem, don't we?
It was a video of the century
“I have more of a chance running into Steve Wallis stealth camping than into a bear” 😂 LOL!
That was hilarious!! Lol
Amongst his many talents is being able to predict the future!
LOL! Foresty totally set us up with that comment!
Mild foreshadowing 😄
the best part of this was foresty sewing his tent and then 5 minutes later is steve holding up his curtains with magnets. 2 of the best in the biz
YES THE CROSS OVER WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!
Yes it is and Thursday we will get more of it!!
Marvel: No one can top our crossovers!
Foresty: Hold my crockpot...
Steve: Hold my Step 2...
I got goosebumps... Canadian goosebumps.
I see what you did there
These drone shots just blow my mind man
Holy fuck boys a 20 minute collabo with Steve? This is the golden era of Van life. Can't wait for the follow up shirtless selfies on the beach collab!
Tell me about it right!?!
😂🤣😅
Bubbles!? Is that you? From sunnyvale trailer park!?
The rest of the world excited about the Friends reunion, me completely overjoyed at the two of y’all together!!!!!
So sweet to see you two get together. Two fantastic Canadian TH-camrs in one ep, ..AND a Crocky Crock reincarnation to boot!
I know !!! Don't know what was more exciting. Keeping the crockpot or meeting Steve. !!! And I've been waiting for that !!!!
Yooo three of my fav cdns all on one vid :o
Ya, I thought he buried that crock pot 🤔
It is awesome how resourceful you are with that sewing machine. You are like a modern day Renaissance Man.
It's so weird seeing Steve outside of his own channel, but boy did it put a smile on my face

Steve Wallis is the master of modesty, even his airfryer is "not the best".
Crockpot's return AND Steve Wallis collab? This is a darn good episode of van life!
AND the theme song!
...as Steve would say, “Doesn’t get any better than this” 😁

The best thing about a Foresty Forest video is knowing that you had to have made it home to share it. Stops me worrying.
That's 👍 right.
Foresty is just such a survivor. I absolutely love that about him. Take care Foresty.

The problem with Romain lettuce in a van is that the high temps inside on sunny days is going to induce it to bolt early.
Need to crack open a Step Two in honor of Canada's finest TH-camrs.

It’s disappointing to hear people dissing the legendary Crock Pot. The only thing more annoying are Bears that act like Ding Dongs.
I think it should be at the top of Everest with a log book and some snacks inside
