  • So what is it really like to TRAVEL AUSTRALIA? We show REAL LIFE VANLIFE ADVENTURES while we TRAVEL AUSTRALIA. We continue our journey travelling across Australia, (Western Australia) travelling through HALLS CREEK, KUNUNURRA (which is part of the KIMBERLEY region) across the Northern Territory Border and off to KATHERINE and Katherine HOT SPRINGS. On our road trip we stop at several rest areas and offgrid FREE CAMPING areas. We give an honest account of what these places are really like, such as the NOTORIOUS HALLS CREEK which a lot of people are scared to stop or even drive thru, answering the question IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL AUSTRALIA?

    This is so stunning . It is a shame that young tourists don’t appreciate the beauty of Australia because they have been to beautiful New Zealand . They only saw a handful of places on the East Coast , going from one tourist town to another and missing out on other wilderness areas in Australia , such as The Kimberley. Thank you for another fantastic video !

    Great trip. Not much has changed. We also had an out of control bush fire. But the old bridge was there. Loved those gas stations 🤙🤠

    Hi Guys, its great to see you out and about and the enjoyable footage. We are a bit concerned though that you have made a fire on the roadway’s at your camps?! We really hope that you have cleared it all away (water, shovel etc) before you leave so no one drives over it and ruins a tyre in the ashes.

    • @turtletrackstravels
      @turtletrackstravels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes we always clear everything away or use fire rings provided. We use our washing up water over the fire before we go to bed 👍😊

    Great vid as usual!
    When we are on the road, we (and it is maybe a bit sad) count the number of blown tyres or dead kangaroos!

      And you would spot lots of those on certain roads. Thanks for watching guys 👍❤️

    Hi Guys, great video! we did that very trip 2 years ago. Make sure you include a visit to the Wolfe Creek Meteor camp on your next trip. Fyi - towing speed limit in WA is 100kph not 110kph. Enjoy! 🤠

    • @turtletrackstravels
      @turtletrackstravels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi guys, yes we’re definitely going to do the crater. Thanks for the heads up on speed limits, we always do between 90 and 100 when towing. We just thought it was funny that the speed limit went from 110 to 130 by crossing that line lol 😂 Thanks for tuning in 👍

    Do you get any dust into your Jayco where you are on dirt tracks? Do you block up the vents or have filters?

    • @turtletrackstravels
      @turtletrackstravels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We mainly try and tape up the vent in the footwell. If it’s really dusty we cover the other vents . We get a bit of dust in the bottom kitchen cupboards but apart from that it hasn’t been too bad 👍

    Hey guys, really enjoying the videos. What editing software do you use? In particular the program for the map and red travel line at the beginning of this video.

    • @turtletrackstravels
      @turtletrackstravels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Simon, glad you’re enjoying our videos. For editing we just use the Free version on the InShot app and the map was done through Travel Boast app (we’ve only recently found this app) which is also Free to use 👍😊
