I‘m getting a 60 TFSIe with the new facelift soon, and as you said there‘s not a ton of videos on the Q7 PHEV. So even though the „old“ 55 differs quite a bit from the „new“ 60 (much bigger battery and double the range) I appreciate hearing how the car is working for you.
@@EatMoreWorms oh yes, great pick. I`m sure you`ll love it, but of course depends on the expectations. So it will never handle like a P panamera, but still gives you the sporty engine noise and while you`re travelling in utmost comfort, you can still go sporty sometimes and it feels so cool sitting higher. I`ve tested P 911, Panamera, Cayenne S, M8 Competition, Range Sport, 5 series, etc and I`d need to say this car gives the best complexity for me. PHEV is also advantageous, like when I had the V60 inscription it`s engine noise was emberrassing in town. Now I go full silent, but also the petrol engine when you keep the rev low and in comfort is brilliant
@@AudiQ7PHEV2021-u I'm coming from an Audi RS-Model, and I do not expect the same kind of experience. Q7 is about comfort not race track, and that's fine. As long as there's some heft when you need it, I'm good.
thanks for your video. There is very little infrormation on youtube about Q7 TFSI e. it would be cool if you check the fuel consuption with empty battery with fixed speed on highway (90, 120, 140 km) and in urban area as well.
Great questions. I’ve tested it already since I was curious too. I got quite surprised because between 110-140 consumption is the same - around 10.5L/100km. My 15k km average is 8.4L/100km. The greatest benefits of the hybrid will last up to 170km when consumption can stay around 8.5, then it climbs up to 10.5L. If you go 3-400km in a dynamic way you’ll end up around 12.5L. At 90 it’s around 9.5-10.5 In city it depends on the terrain and the length of the journey and the amount of brakes you apply (since it recharges). So even if the battery is empty you will enjoy periods in EV only. Consumption avg will be around 10-14. Extremely short journey will give you 41L. Like 1-2kms.
Middle screens sometimes black out. You need to keep the volume vontrol button down for 20 seconds and it restarts well or stop the car turn off and on and it goes okay again. Sometimes the direction indicator volume goes up. Same applies. These are issues any premium brand can have, BMW may be much worse. I have had an M8 competition 2021 with 20K kilometres and the rear camera went wrong. Transmission and engine are both fantastic. I sometimes miss a bit bigger sound from the engine, but comeon it is a luxury SUV, so if you need that go for Porsche. I had a Porsche Cayenne S, the sportier edition and there if you sit in the back it was too loud for me. So you know really depends on what your personal taste needs! Overall this car is fantastic, but bear the amortisation in mind. I will soon come up with a detailed statistics video after my 18.000km, and I will also share my calculations how mch you financially "loose" when you have such a car.
In the hybrid I can hear something sometimes but I don`t think it`s different to other luxury SUVs (not Tesla). In general it brings an overall premium quality. Piano black really depends on you, whether you put keys on it or something. Mine looks the same after 6+ months. I take care of it and not annoyed by it at all.
Excellent video
Many thanks, appreciate it
Awesome idea, please keep going!
Thanks a lot appreciate your comment and good to see it brings some value for you guys

@@AudiQ7PHEV2021-u thanks for the details! currently shopping for a full-size SUV, Q7 is on the top list.

Does the Audi Q7 have any common issues, such as interior squeaks or rattles? Also, how durable are the piano black surfaces in the interior?
