It would have been nice to show how the corners of the seat were done. That is the hardest part!

Super! Just what I needed to see and I love that the video is quick and efficient. I'm so glad you showed a fabric with a pattern, too.

Hi Matthew. So I have a set of chairs exactly the same as the reddish one you have beside you. My problem is how to cover the back because it’s arched and if I pull the fabric tightly it won’t fit snugly to the back! I would appreciate your input, thank you!

What brand of adhesive did he use?

I don't know what he used and I know there is special upholstery foam spray glue but I just used some multipurpose spray adhesive from 3M (super 77) and it worked ok and didn't melt the foam.

But don't do this to your antiques, try and get it as close to original as possible.

WHY, why, why do we need to see a hundred videos of the same ridiculously easy 'how to' for just a stupid chair seat??????? I thought this video was going to show how to recover the slightly more complex RED teak chair in the back ground. Please show that, something the average person may not be able to figure out by them selves.

Because there are many people who have never done a simple ridiculously-easy stupid chair seat cover. You should be nicer to the "average person" who may be able to figure it out by themselves, but would like to see it done by a professional first. He gave the best illustration I've seen so far and I'm so stupid I've looked at about 5 videos so far. And to top it off, I have recovered chair pads in my life---but it was many years ago.

This is a totally useless video because he doesn’t even show how he staples the fabric on the wood.
