Thank you so much. I found this after watching many videos on how to re cover dining chairs. This technique finally helped me get nice sleek sides and perfect corners. One seat down, five more to go!

Hands down one of the best tutorials / how-to's on TH-cam for this. There are any number of techniques for turning down your corners when stapling and this method seems to yield the least amount of visible wrinkles/folds for most fabrics. It may not work well for thicker vinyls though. Simple, concise and clear.

I’m thinking I will probably need to wash my chair covers once in a while, as they will be used in the kitchen. It will be a big job to remove all the staples every time. I’m thinking elastic or Velcro, but I can’t find any tutorials. I know stapling is the best way to tighten the fabric, but I’m hoping to find another way. Thank you

Hint: If you don't want your cats to scratch your seats up, choose a velvet or ultra suede fabric. Cats like a fabric they can get their claws into and if it's smooth they don't like it. Learned this the hard way.

Being a bit of a perfectionist I was not happy especially with corners. Then the next day I found your channel, figures. I really liked your instructional video and now I know I could have done a lot better to suit myself. I will probably redo 6 of them using your technique. I hate thumbs-downers! They don't take the time out to post any videos of their own, just want to poop on the hard work of others. There are many ways and techniques that work for different folks.
I watch different tutorials, because I pick something up from everyone. In this one, how to get the fabric tight and lump-/wrinkle-free is invaluable...and getting the corners neat. Thank you for this k-I-s-s: keeping it short, sweet & simple.
My chairs have the center cut out and I had to weave furniture elastic. I was concerned about the foam and fabric, but you make me feel like pulling out the staples was the hardest and most time-consuming part. Thank you so much!

That stapler is amazing. I used a handheld t50 stapler and it was not an enjoyable experience.
