I used to watch Sam's video. It was both educational and fun to watch, so when I saw this video's thumbnail, I thought some tragic thing had happened to him... Thankfully, it wasn't the case. Thank you so much for making this video, I wouldn't be able to know what had happened to Sam without you! Please keep up the great work!!
I found Sam's channel when it was already in its long hiatus. Binge watched the videos, downloaded and played all the Game Jam games he made, and loved them. Of all the game makers I saw on TH-cam, he was probably one of the most creative ones when it came to game mechanic ideas. I hope he sometime comes back, but if he doesn't, well, I just wish him well.
Sounds like he really took it with grace, a lot of people become trapped in their virality and end up pushing themselves to make content they don't like to keep up with the demands, I think it was really mature of to just say "I don't like doing what I got viral for anymore, so I won't keep making content," rather than pushing himself to do stuff he didn't like, or trying to make other content and then getting disappointed when its not as popular as the stuff he got famous for. I always liked his content and he seems like a good guy, and while no one owes the internet an explanation, I'm glad it is just a shift in interests instead of him being hurt or something else horrible.
My favorite part is that when people disappear from youtube everyone always jumps to the extremes "They died" "They quit youtube" "They got hacked" When the real reason is almost always just "I lost motivation, i may come back in the future but honestly I have no idea"
It is a bit sad he lost passion for game dev considering how many of his projects ended up being really good and original but eh, people have a life It's a thing that happens
This was an amazing, captivating, and informative video. This was really well done and you deserve way more subs! This really is proof that with enough effort you can reach a lot of people, you gained a lot quickly.

Most people would not put in that kind of effort at 200 subs.
Why does this guy have only 2,000 subscribers? The video editing style he uses is really high quality, and he should have more than 500k subscribers. And also, I really hope that Sam comes back because his content was really entertaining, and I would never get bored with them. Great video, btw!

Sam Hogan is the person who sparked that one brain cell in my mind that i had and made it split in half (which now i see was not the right choice) but made me interested in more in game dev, and Shaking Clover your videos seem great and it seems when this video was made you only have 200 subs, look at you now with multiplying those subs by 25x, keep up the good work and i hope to see you move on till the future and not stop if possible even if times are tuff

Great video! Just on tid bit of advice is I'd say the volume balancing is a little off at times with the music being a bit too loud relative to your voice. That's my personal opinion, though maybe I'm alone. Once again great video!

this was a very well edited and put together video, one thing i think you could fix tho is that the background music got a bit loud at parts to the point where i started to have trouble undertanding what you were saying. just keep that in mind in the future and it would be even better
