I know Xeno has a self-deprecating sense of humor and he likes to joke that he's dumb, but I think videos like this prove how smart he really is. He remembers what people say, is able to compare and contrast their words, and break down their behaviors in a way that reveals what actually may be going on in their heads. I tend to agree with a lot of what he offers as driving motives and factors, and he asks lot of if "If X, then why did you Y?" questions. It's pretty consistent through all his drama videos where he breaks everything down. I feel like if he didn't stumble into streaming, he would've made a good detective or psychologist.
I was thinking exactly this the other day with the rich stuff. Xeno is far smarter than he gives credit and could probably have found something outside streaming tho then i think he probably would nvr discover it without his life up to now streaming.

From experience with narcissists in my own life, all I see is this:
"I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE" the narcissist says, while inserting himself into peoples' lives as much as possible to start drama. Meanwhile, throughout said drama they started, they say they hate everyone around them, they hate drama and they hate the fact that everyone has started this much drama for them.
The aforementioned drama is this: Everyone around is not listening to you and doing and believing everything you say. This is their logic. Don't believe them? That's drama. Everyone is being dramatic. They tell you to leave them alone? That's drama. And they started drama which now means the narcissist is not being "left alone". So they now tell everyone that anyone involved in the drama they started is harassing them

@@jasonbourne7120 of course, but I think what's telling here is the accountability of midna's statement seems to suggest growth. Being outed for saying terrible things about your friends and having to apologize and convince them of your growth is not easy. But it says something about her character to (allegedly) have them all continue to trust her.
Not to say she wasn't toxic during the relationship. That's something definitely possible. But you can tell the difference in present behaviors from the tone of the documents and Twitter postings.

from what i saw, the comments that are now deleted were not introducing some huge bias or proving his innocence in any way. they were rather lame defenses that earned little more than scorn. the most reasonable explanation to me is that when he saw he wasn't swaying opinion in his favor, he deleted the comments to save face rather than stand up and take the hits @@Chaoskoch

I actually had a nightmare after only watching this. He is acting extremely vindictive, 5 years is a long time to be fixated on one person....I was stalked by one guy for 4 years because he thought I was the 'one' for him which made me vanish from social media but this guy is on a whole different level. No one should be made to fear for their life or even feel unsafe.

@@ColeEvyx Likely goes around town a lot, say the bars, gaming lounges, gaming stores, etc. Word gets around since I know in many cities barkeepers and bouncers tend to work together to identify certain troublesome guests. It is possible that the guy has been harassing people in the city and flagged as a problematic person.

They ended up following me to my new server and continued harassing me on alts. He'd just make new characters when he'd get banned and continued harassing me and those around me. Bruh this is so crazy. I applaud Xeno and Midna and Yuna. I had deal with someone similar online in FF14 who did very similar stuff in and out of game (not irl luckily), had friends of ours side with them and slander me for being an abuser, manipulator, etc, all while being the real one. Years later I would be minding my business and they and their friends would BLACK Mail me to delete stuff I didn't have because they think it would make them look bad to friends they shit on. Good on you guys for handling it properly because that type of people can poison your ability to think properly about yourself, them, and others and just ruin you if you are not mentally strong enough. Luckily I have a gf who saw it all and was one that was said to be one I was abusing (she laughed and was annoyed they think she was that without even asking her themselves). Man what jealously and true narcissism can do is mind boggling.

My last relationship about 7 years ago was a toxic one. After I broke up with my ex gf I haven't dated anyone. Now I am more if I met someone great. If I don't met someone great as well.
I can count on one hand the amounts of times I mentioned my ex on social media after we broke up until now.
And when me being single and why comes up in a conversation if I do mention my ex ,which I try not to, I try to keep it as brief as possible or give as little detail as possible like just saying she was toxic and that is it.

i'd just like to point out, since sleepy raijin deleted his comment, that just because the law says you aren't guilty in their eyes, doesn't mean you aren't. because we all know how fucked the judicial system is. you could have solid evidence of being stalked, harassed, and abused, but they won't do anything about it, unless they are borderline trying to take your life. and obviously you aren't free from being condemned from other people either.

@@Chaoskoch I don't know who needs to hear this but the court of law is not some arbiter of the truth, all the court of law decides is if there's enough evidence to prove if a law was broken or not. An Innocent verdict does not mean that the accused didn't do what they were accused of only that there wasn't enough evidence to convict, likewise a guilty verdict also does not mean that the accused actually did what they were accused of only that there was enough evidence to convict, or at the very least that a jury was convinced to convict. For example we all know OJ did it but he got off, and there are numerous examples of innocent people getting sent to prison and being exonerated later.

The funny thing that I notice is how many of these abusers play League of Legends. Weird huh? Almost as if a toxic environment makes a toxic person. In this case, a very toxic person quite clearly displaying the best possible traits of a League of Legends player (not casual players, oh no, I’m talking the ones who play the game obsessively and know all the lore but they don’t make the content or money to show for it)

It's wild how people react when a streamer that they enjoy, but never met and aren't actually friends with, gets outted as a creep or a nutjob. Just because it turns out someone you watch sucks, it doesn't mean you suck or are a bad person. Just chill, get the whole story, and walk away if necessary.
People have a tendency to attribute some of a persons good qualities to other parts of their personality which is then combined with people’s tendency to identify their own perceptions and conclusions on things as a proof of their own character. The result? People view a streamer who makes them laugh as a good person and attacks on their character then become personal to the viewer. It’s human nature and sadly will never go away.

My ex and I were extremely close. We met playing FFXIV. After a few months, I flew her out, and she was going to stay at my place for a not yet determined amount of time. We really liked each other, and though things weren't perfect, I expected the future to be good. One of the better highlights of a rather dark life I've experienced. I came home from work one day, and she abruptly informed me that she didn't want to be in a relationship anymore, and that her grandmother had already bought her tickets to fly back to the other side of the country on Tuesday (this was on a Friday). More or less, I was (and still to this day, to an extent) heartbroken. I asked her to sleep on the couch until then, and I'd continue taking care of her. She still kept asking to "feel me" (this was a request for sex). Against my better emotional judgement, I obliged, but the next day, I told her to contact her grandmother and have her book a hotel room to stay in, because I emotionally couldn't handle her just staying at my place under those circumstances, especially since I had been taking care of her, and it generally felt like a fucked up thing for her to do to continue using me as a sex toy (something I realize to this day I should've just declined, and been an adult). Though we've both gone our own ways since then, the breakup that ensued was bitter, and we both said extremely mean shit to each other, and I wish I could take back a lot of the things I said. Sometimes I feel like I should've just swallowed my pride and let her stay at my place until she left. Thinking about my past actions really make me feel like an awful person.
The only thing I can say, is that you 100% have every right to leave relationships you don't want to be in, and no one deserves abuse/harassment whatsoever for leaving, but please, please people, stop choosing the absolute worst moments you can possibly think of to break up with someone. It's about as mean as ghosting that same person. It's probably my own personal bias from my own experience, but abruptly doing that to someone when you're on a trip, or in my case, *the person is still living in someone's home for several days* is kind of fucked up.
Sorry for randomly getting this off my chest here. It probably won't be seen by many people if at all, but I felt the need to say it.
This isn't drama. I'm actually shocked and horrified at these details... What is wrong? I can't help but feel something is wrong. Something feels totally off here. So they are both Canadian and she did go to the police with all this evidence? Maybe it's because I am so deeply rooted in security/police myself but if any of this happened to me (the revenge stuff, the ... well any of it...) that person would be in pretty substantial amounts of trouble with the law.
Especially if they violated a restraining order placed in court which is what I believe she said early on. How is a violation, a repeated violation, of a restraining order not being escalated? I'm so confused... But generally speaking I've always been backed ever since my first terrible non-consent experience... this feels weird because I know if I myself went to the police with even 1/5th of this that person would be handled by them. I thought they were both from the USA but in CANADA where I've experienced it myself like... I'm not gonna lie I'm shocked this hasn't been shut down hard.
Though ignoring court orders such as restraining orders is criminal, it is not uncommon that restraining orders are relatively ineffective at stopping a determined criminal/abuser/stalker. In Canada, it is a possible penalty of up to two years, the problem is that a lot of law enforcement do a shoddy job at enforcing or following up on violations of court orders. There has been debate over the years about making such orders more effective. In the USA the situation is a bit worse, especially in large cities where police really don't bother with "petty crimes" and tend to focus resources on more "serious" felonies. The SCOTUS has ruled that the police are not obligated to help you with a restraining order under the 14th Amendment as a restraining order isn't a "property interest" (Castle Rock v. Gonzales).
Yeah now you say it, that could make sense that it fell through cause that is a pretty big thing to just forget/leave out... It's hard to imagine being rejected for a restraining order based on everything presented. I've seen many restraining orders for significantly massively incredibly less. This is exactly why I feel all this public discourse / popularity contest stuff is inappropriate. We don't know who is in the right/wrong and what is or isn't true. This is at the point where frankly the accusations made are criminal accusations and I won't apologize by saying that this shouldn't be public/"court of public opinion"/populairty contest. No one should need to live under that stress regardless of who it is!

It's great that you've had positive experiences with law enforcement but sadly that isn't the case for everyone. It's a shame this situation is being treated as drama, but if he's dragging her name through the mud publicly I think she's within her rights to give her side of the story publicly, especially if she's being failed by law enforcement.

So you're telling me its 5 years ago. A 30 year old woman (25 back then) broke up with a (18 back then). And considering they broke up back then it means they were likely dating at least a year before if she was inviting him over to her house and going on trips.
Why do people bat an eye to the age difference when if it was reversed people would throw out groomer and other words out.
Midna claims they dated from spring/summer 2018 until late 2019.
Sleepy raijin also says they broke up when he was 22 (in his docs) making him 26 turning 27 this year.

I love xeno. I love ffxiv. But I'm over these drama videos. Over an hour of drama on a single sh*t human being sh*tty, and I get "then just dont watch the video." And ur right, I didn't. There's already enough shitty humans in our world, I don't wanna hear about it in a game I enjoy with my friends.
My point being is that I understand that this kinda of content is just free views/money for xeno but when its over 50% of his recent content, it just makes this community look so terrible. It's not on xeno, its him pointing out these assh*les, but regardless when this is all the game has at the moment with him being a big FF creator, it just looks bad and it's slightly depressing.
I understand its one guy for this example, but when its highlighted and there is always some idiot to criticize or talk about, it invites more toxicity imo.
Again to wrap up, I know part of this is xeno defending himself and criticizing others (while farming views), but in reality, I dont think anyone with a head really cares other than the ones following/supporting sleepy or the ones "offended" by this situation who have no idea who xeno is; in other words, just the idiots, who live off drama like vultures to a corpse.
I can't wait til Dawntrail is out so this content goes to the grave (until it comes back 2 years from now...)

Idk. She lost the case for this because she evidence was not credible enough. Do I think Raijin is the worst person here? For sure.
But, we're essentially arguing which manipulative person is worse here. To me it looks like two people who had a personal issue that should've been kept personal, but they've drank too much of the terminally online kool-aid.

Anyway, I on the other hand am normally neutral and don't tend to side with either gender automatically. I've seen too many cases of women lying for sympathy and men being dirtbags. In the words of the great Dr. Gregory House, "Everybody lies."
In this case, my only fault of Midna is that I genuinely believe she is withholding her own faults that may have contributed or been relevant to her account. Yet, whether she is or not doesn't change that I whole-heartedly believe she is being stalked and harassed, and I think Raijin is a narcissist himself, projecting it onto her.
If Midna is being deceptive, it's likely just stuff that would give ammunition to victim blame, but there's nothing she could've done that would justify the way she's been treated by Raijin. This is not based on her words or account, but on his. All of his documented behavior, before even getting to Midna's 30 page document, is consistent with being an obsessive stalker. Her own account and document is consistent with that assessment.

@@kenamada5451 also important to note she mentioned that she deleted conversations at the time to just "move on". Likely when it came to court time, the evidence she would have had was lacking, even though she submitted witness testimony. The video that was mentioned twice might be a huge one. Not to say one way or another, but it's important to look beneath the surface of "she lost the retraining order so she must be at fault".
