Im kinda young 15 to be exact and im tryna learn as much as i can about different types of engines and how they work as of right now i know a lot of engine parts and what they do but i plan on learning more
Pulling and tearing my knocking vq35de in the next couple weeks, if the block is still in decent shape, I look forward to buying your vid and running through it. Good lookin out.
i want to start a project on my g35 2003 first make the engine ready for later install a twin turbo kit but my goal is get around 800 hp so its a lot of job in the front
Does someone could help me ... I own a g35 04 coupe is not overheating but it was but now I see the valve cover gasket inside is like cream is a good idea rebuild or change the engine?
Just bought the car...ran a $100 portable scantool on it before purchasing. Scan reviled 3 codes P0327, P0304, and P0102. Car has a $1200 titanium exhaust and aftermarket intake. It starts like new, idles without burping or popping. Deleted codes and drive car about a mile. Check engine light (CEL) came back on. Ran scan again and same codes. Bought car for $4k and hauled it home. Removed intake tube, removed MAF sensor and cleaned with MAF cleaner. Switched coils 4 and 6. Deleted codes and car started like new. After listening to it idle for 5 mins without hearing a single pop. Drove it for a mile and CEL came on again P0327 & P0304. Car accelerated without hesitation or lack of power. Returned home and switched the 4&6 plugs this time, both looked like new. Deleted DTC and drove another mile when CEL lit returned home. Same DTC P0327 and P0304. Looked online and found out the P0327 is for harness and P0328 is knock sensor. Removed the light blue connection between engine and firewall. When I went to unhook the dark blue connection. It came off real easy because it had broken. Ordered a new harness today. Hoping this fixes it but got a feeling it's something else. As in...when you say sensors you mean what?
Crap...is that why the wire harness was taped to another harness. I remember seeing pics of the harness I needed. It was taped to another harness with a single green connection and 6 gray ones. I thought that part was for the coil packs
@@willk3807 there are a few engine sensors that go bad on the VQ after about every 60/75K miles, have them checked, especially since you just purchased the vehicle, had the last change almost 2 years ago
Remembering a time when all of this was foreign to me as a kid. Now being able to do mostly anything on my VQ is a great feeling. Nice work.🙌🏻

What if he finished and then realized he still had an extra bolt left from the first step
Depends on which bolt your talking about.. 🤣
😵⚰️
you made my head hurt
hey do you know about how much i have to spend if i want my g35 2003 support around 800 hp in the engine i would apreciate if you guys answered thanks
Go to Z1 motorsports and price out a rebuild package with low compression pistons.
@Sam S for a turbo build? No, youd want a low compression like an 8:1 rather than an 11:1 for a naturally aspirated build.
honestly i dont know exactly whats the diference betwen low and hig compression pistons and wich is better
Thank bro i really apreciate you explain that to me 👍🏼 it was really helpful

Is there an option to purchase this build? link not working for me on site..
Any one know a price range for a basic engine rebuild? Just OEM rebuild nothing forged or anything
I got quotes $3100
Gonna run you 7 grand ish but with better stronger parts with a break in and including tune
Can somebody tell me where I can buy this DVD?
Hello are you going to sell anymore of your videos on the VQ35DE? I went to the website and you're out of stock.
Any good rebuild kits ?
ya the one on sale

test it for a bad head gasket
How much was the whole thing
Anyone know why one of these motors says it's misfiring but is actually running smooth and like new
how many miles and were all of the engine sensors changed?

You didn't change the oil gallery with a better material. 🤦🏻♂️
ItzCashew it’s a DE not a HR genius also maybe they didn’t film it
@@pushhrodd01 they BOTH has an oil gallery gasket. HR failure rate is higher than DE but theyre still should be changed
