I MISS LATE 70'
Bout to do just that with my high school music students. We put on a dinner show every year with pop music, and our theme is the 80s. The kids are dressing up in 80s style clothes, performing 80s music, I'm even going to far as to be Doc Brown.

Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, Ghostbusters, Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Rocky, and of course this masterpiece, just to mention a few....Am I wrong to say 80s soundtracks are best ever?

Este el himno de los 80s, la era de oro de la cultura pop, caricaturas, series, peliculas, musica, juguetes, hasta de los dulces y el mismo espectaculo, y el inicio de una potencial y prospera resurrecion de los videojuegos, una epoca como esta JAMAS se va a repetir, y aquellos que la vivieron en carne propia debio ser una experiencia que recuerdan con muchisimo cariño.

Ever since my parents introduced me to Back To The Future when I was like six, I have been obsessed with this song. Oh yeah, and the movie is a classic. I still love it even to this day. And when I saw Deadpool in Wolverine, I had the biggest smile on my face when both this song and You’re The One That I Want from Grease were playing in the movie! I love my family!

I saw "Back to the Future"when I was 14 in July of 1985 and loved it. "Power of Love" was constantly played on the radio that summer and I loved it as well. My pop bought us tickets to see Huey & the boys play at Cal Expo Ampitheater in Sacramento CA that August. That was the movie and song of the summer, it was a sold-out show, and they had been touring for a while (on "Sports") and were super-tight; I was very aware that was great timing to see that awesome gig!! I started high school that September...

I was a young kid working at Universal Studios in those years and spent many weekends when there wasn't any shooting going on playing at the Clock Tower, Malt Shop and at all the fake stores in between!! It was a Dream Job for when you're young.. I even got to walk into Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment on the lot once and that was normally off limits to almost everyone! Good Times.. and great song...
