Not gonna lie, the one fandom that gives us a run for our money in voting is Lim Youngwoon's fans. And we're not even mad about it either. We have to fight for our lives when we're up against him, but there's a sense of sportsmanship between us and his fans. They're not like kpop fans at all. When his people fight for him, it's because they love him and his music and want to see him win. It's not about taking down BTS.
When they fight for him, they fight fair and respectfully. No cheating, no trying to start disgusting fights, no nastiness at all. And if we win, they bow out gracefully and keep it pushing. If they win, we bow out gracefully and keep it pushing. There are no fanwars and bitterness or anything. Kpop fans always talk about how ARMY hates other fandoms because we feel threatened by them (even though their voting stats are in 3% or less). Yet the only fandom we consider real competition has no reason to fight with us because they know how to mind their business, keep it cute, work hard and prioritize their artist in peace so we have no reason to retaliate.
Meanwhile the rest of those kpop fandoms are in this sense of delusion that we see them as our equals on the playing field. They just yap about supporting their faves and complain that ARMY wins everything. But when you check their stats, they're not putting in any work and expect their faves to magically win. They make it impossible to respect them. Especially when they work together with other fandoms to vote for the 2nd highest idol after BTS to get them to win so they could see BTS lose...while completely abandoning their fave because they don't trust their fandoms enough to think their person can win. Then they act offended when we look at them like they aint shit after they do some aint shit ass foolishness.

Just to add: I personally wouldn't call it fair and respectfully because we know that they're buying votes (I know it's technically allowed but it's still a way to make it a lot easier for them) and they have also been exposed for cheating votes for Mubeat. Record company executive shenanigan gossip is getting spicy with Shamans, tearful news conferences and accusations of plagiarism. The music business is dirty
She also had no problem promoting New Jeans as BTS's little sisters nor using money from hybe to debut them and never pay them back. She's also a massive creep who debuted multiple minors in that group while sexualizing them with songs like cookie, outfits tighter than BTS's grip on my soul and many sexual dances/performances. She marketed those poor girls as manic pixie dream girls to a bunch of incels, that's why at every live performance they have during fan chants all you hear is a bunch of dudes, their fan meets up are packed with middled age men, and that's exactly what MHJ planned for since their debut. Disgusting. I hope those girls are okay and safe and that they can find ppl who have their best interest as young girls who want to be artists to actually look out for them in this industry.

I don't see BTS staying in US as a good idea! ARMY are proud for BTS not only bcz they are great artists and people but also bcz they stand tall infront the western music industry showing them that music from other non english talking artists can make great music! They are the ones who broke the standards of western music industry paved the way and gave hope to other non english artist all over the world!

MBC is like a tv network that plays live music idk what else they do besides that but many comeback shows are aired on MBC.
context is many music shows mistreat the groups and the labels cant do anything about it. the labels are at the mercy of the tv networks so they cant protect their artists. hybe and bts are pushing back since 2019/2020/2021/2022 slowly not going to many music shows because of the way artists are treated.
a example is they film for over 24 hours they start filming very early in the am through the next day or two the artists continues to perform the songs over and over again until they have enough footage to clip it together and act like its 100% live all the way through. the singing is live but the performances are cut together thats why the dvmb camera work is so irritating cause its literally different live performances from the same day/s. also the fans who are there for the live show have to also stay there the same length of time neither the artist nor the fans get food breaks. and whichever group wins has to buy all the staff food not their own staff or themselves but the tv stations staff.
now sure if its bts or a big group they can afford it but think about a new group who just debuted has debut owed to their label for training them has not made a dime yet with album sales or streams finally gets their first win and they have to pull money out of thin air to buy the staff food.
theres probably so much more fuckery that hasnt been exposed. but suga said this in a interview on the topic : "The way artists work seems so difficult. They make an appearance on a different music show every day once the promotional period begins, meaning the exhaustion artists face is enormous, and that fatigue often results in injuries as it adds up. That kind of music show is for promotional purposes, so it’s not like the artists can earn a proper income from them. On top of that, despite all the promoting, there’s no visible outcome, so they inevitably lose morale. If possible, it’d be nice to have one of the performances be really high-quality, even if it’s just the one, but in this environment I’d say that’s pretty difficult. And since our job doesn’t fit the common conception of work, there’s ambiguous boundaries when it comes to issues of legal protection as well. We need a lot of improvements to be made to the industry and its system." he also said this " The great thing about the label I’m with is they listen to the artists’ opinions. so from this plus the music shows being exposed by media recently i can see why bts would rather go to the u.s than the music shows and why hybe is hesitant of sending any of their artists to music shows. they still go and bts will probably still go but they dont need to accept invitation to every show when they can just go to a stadium and see korean armys on their own terms. also tbh i understand your sentiment for artists in general to lift up their own music industries but if the artists were never valued by their countries industry id say fuck you to them and perform where i want. you gotta keep in mind what korean music industry tv stations media other labels did and still do to bts i wouldnt wanna perform at their show either nor let them have a piece of pie. maybe they shouldve thought of that before treating bts like dirt for majority of their careers. thats just me tho.

so not only do they film over 24 hours over and over with no food breaks to get the best shots, not only are they expected to buy the tv station staff food if they win but they only get $36 per performance. if they are a small group with barely any fans who buy or stream they have no income to buy their own necessities let alone buy staff food.

MBC was very petty and salty about the new years thing, the industry insider said that it was an openly known fact between the industry people that mbc stopped inviting any artist, that was involved with BigHit/Hybe, to their shows even tho BTS proposed to send them pre-recorded performance for their new years show. It was years of feud before their btchahhses came to terms with it and agreed on a meeting with BangPD and they're still disrespecting the artist that they want to give them viewers so bad. I want the tannies to be petty as well and never attend any of mbc's shows again just for the sake of it. The brand thing means that all these brands signyficantly contributed to South Korean economy and BTS are the only celebrity name on the list with huge conglomerates like Samsung and Hyundai etc. for example in 2021 BTS contributed $5 BILLION to the country. In 2019 it was $4,65B, which was 0.3% of the country's overall gdp. No matter how you look at, it is massive.

That MBC is a shit. When BTS was performing on their shows when BTS were not so big yet but still doing really well...at that time too MBC didn't even gave BTS a green room which every artist deserves to have to get ready and prepare. BTS got ready in front of rest rooms. And the artists going to restroom would openly look down on them.
That same freaking MBC was bitter when for once BTS decided to appear on a US show. After this they also showed their bitterness in very extreme pathetic manner by including BTS and members name and birthdays on some s*ic*de storyline for a drama. All those years, MBC had one sided beef with BTS and Hybe. Not letting even other hybe artist to perform in the same year at their shows. And they yet again MBC showed ones a sht will always be a sht.
BTS have gave lime light and profit and platform to alot of artists, entire kpop industry is what it is today cause of them, award shows, charts, music shows, music festivals, country, cities...be it in korea and abroad. Like for many of us...we got introduced and or visted to all of the mentioned, cause of BTS and for BTS...yet nobody really treated BTS the way BTS deserved to be treated like a legends they are. BTS would have even more money but they give so much away. For instance their huge cash bonus for signing again to their company. They kept the extra shares but gave the entire cash bonus to the international childrens charity UNICEF. Then also continued in that same year supporting their individual private pet projects. For instance Jimin supports art music and sports in his local home area. He keeps it local so he can make sure the money is going for the kids. He provides tuitions equipment and scolarships for talented children like he was. Because he has only got where he is because his training fees were to waived. He studied multiple martial arts and dance. Cos BTS do not only talk the talk they walk the walk. One year somebody did the math to work out the previous year 20% of their content had been free for fans. Be it performances on tv sound cloud, free concerts etc. GOLDEN Jungkook instead of cashing in on its success gave multiple free performances in Korea in times square and through tv shows and UTube.
And did you hear about the new Kpop bg debuting that are hearing impaired? One of them got into music because RM had made a large donation for a music room to be completed at the School of the Deaf.
Also, an animal shelter was destroyed by bad weather and JHope donated all the funds to completely rebuild it. They are all such warm hearted and giving men. 💜

All of the Golden Album was not authentic for JK. He was given all his songs by western writers, so he should have done well. I feel he is much better than just being given songs. He needs to get back to writing his own songs! And having input into the songs!
This comment shows a glaring misunderstanding of writing and jk allowing himself to be a vessel for writers. He may not have written the words but they say things he wishes to say or topics he wishes to cover.
It’s a hard and freeing experience to trust writers to be your scribes and you be the voice. Also he may not have written the words but vocal production arrangements how it was sung are all part of writing a song.
I believe golden was jk at his current age and wishing to have a break from the toll of having to write what he sings. It’s a great album for a début and highlights his best skills while showing others that might not have been highlighted.
The Min Hee-Jin vs HYBE corporate drama is a mess and a half, they could make a whole kdrama out of it!
It's been wild seeing it play out but mainly it's just infuriating that she's dragged BTS into it to try and damage HYBE.
Short version: she made a plan to take over her label because the parent company HYBE didn't agree to the contract renegotiations she asked for after the only group she's launched became a huge commercial hit, she was found out because she and her minions planned it out on company computers, HYBE asked her to step down but she refuses, they can force her out because they own 80% of the shares and she only has 18% but they have to go through the courts and she's dragging it out while playing victim in a whole lot of media play.
@@Jurnalist_ 👏Thank you for explaining that, I don't think people realize also how stressful or pressuring it can be to write songs. V spoke on Suchwita with Suga about struggling to make a cohesive album and that it was extremely stressful, so he decided to receive songs instead. I've always seen JK and V the type that struggles with releasing things that don't feel perfect or up to their standards they give themselves. Most of the songs JK has written lyric-wise up to this point many have been songs for army. Jimin and JK help a lot more with melodies then lyrics usually, although after watching Jimin's documentary we see he worked on the lyrics for Face too.
