It's the best if you ask me. It has the most variety and all the songs are great. My second favourite is Underclass Hero but I can admit that a lot of the songs sound very similar to one another, although it has multiple songs that made me cry... Then again also SBM has a song that I couldn't listen to without crying for a long time, but yeah SBM and UC are my favourites, 3rd favourite is Chuck, all the other albums go back and forth, I can decide which ones I like more. Albums like AKNF and Chuck are awesome but most of their songs sound very similar to one another.
MechaMinilla99 chuck has been my favorite album all time since I was 11, but sbm is amazing. I always thought their music grew up and became more mature as I grew up with them, so everything they have is pretty nostalgic for me

After that the band started their soundcheck without even caring about us at all. Brownsound (Dave) was the only one that at least waved at us and said hi from 6 meters away. When the soundcheck was over, the band came down to us with 2-3 security guards to take the promised VIP photo. We had to put our bags and jackets down and lined up, so that every single person got their group picture. No one was allowed to TALK to the band members, it was just 5 seconds - take your picture and bye. This whole thing took about 1 hour and at 4pm we got kicked out to wait in the cold until the gig officially started. I don’t know if it was sum41 managements fault, but I was very disappointed. My expectation was to talk to the band members at least for 5 MINUTES. A few days after the gig I texted Brownsound on IG about this thing, but he didn’t reply :/
I'll always thankfull of deryck to still continue as sum 41 with the pure rock music 🧡🧡🧡 cuz all other bands trying to go electronic pop ,edm kind of Rock to just make money where deryck is still loyal to his genre actual rock 🙌
I grew up with Sum 41, All Killer, No Filler album hit just as I hit my pre-teens and I were listening to that and the three following albums for many years (I still do sometimes). But Screaming Bloody Murder has so much more passion in the vocals than the other albums.. You can actually feel the pain behind the words. I hope they'll soon come to Europe again - once all this pandemic shit is dealt with.

When he returned to music I remember his vocals sounding good but rusty. Now he's just perfect with his pitch. I love how he was able to bounce back and never waiver on the sum 41 sound. They're new stuff sounds alot like what was amazing about the old stuff. Great music is great music.
Just look at the live performances of this song of the time when it just came out and now. It seems like nowaday Deryck and that Deryck are two different persons. He sings it with absolutely different emotions and feellings. Now he looks like person who saw enough of shit in his life, but he still fights, not going to surrender and getting better and better every day. Very glad for him now.
