I like the sound of the 997 air box a little better. It is quieter but with a nice high pitch sound.

If you like the sound of Fabspeed intake, but the sound of the air pump bothers you, then you cold install a hard rubber washer at mounting location(s) to quell the racket during cat warmup. I'm one that likes intake and exhaust music 🎶.

I think your exhaust set up is the best one I’ve ever heard so far.. sounds exactly like a gt3!! Absolutely perfect! Did you have the original pse fitted with the valve switch in the center console? If so, does the brombacher exhaust can be switched with it as well? What was the total cost of the whole exhaust setup?

Without a doubt, the exhaust system was the best decision I've made with the car! It does have the factory PSE with the switch in the centre console and the Brombacher Valved kit is a direct fit, the original vacuum lines literally just plug in. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, I truly appreciate it 🙏 😊

Does it have the same effect on the M96.01 engine?

My apologies can you run the 82 mm plenum and the carbon intake in coordination with each other. I just discovered your channel I might have missed something @@RevivedAndDriven

When you order the Carbon Intake from Fabspeed, you have the option to select either the standard or the 82mm Throttle Rubber; the latter is an extra $100.

Fabulous. Many thanks. Is the 82 mm Plenum install an engine out procedure???? @@RevivedAndDriven

No it's very straightforward, remove the throttle body which is very easy, then loosen the jubilee clips on both sides and wiggle it off.

Thanks for the comparison video! I love the symphony! Do you notice any power loss from the Fabspeed intake? I’d get it for the sound alone on my 997.1 C2S but don’t want noticeable loss in hp.

Hi, thank you, I really appreciate the feedback! First drive there's a noticeable difference on acceleration but it seemed to subside after a few drives, probably once the MAF recalculated the Air/Fuel ratio. I toyed with the idea of switching back to the 997.1 unit but the sound of the Fabspeed is intoxicating and it looks the nuts no doubt! 😀
