This is quite amazing! How the two pilots interact with each other and how they communicate with the control tower. I understood what they meant to Alpha-3, it's one of the two taxiways of the airport, then proceeding to Runway 05 for take off!

Absolutely Awesome video! Reminds me of with a mere Private Pilot License, my close friend at PAL let me take the controls of a LAX MNL flight in a 747-400. He supervised the entire time, but in my opinion, it was easier and more natural than flying a Cessna 152!

Airports in the provinces like this is is perfect for airplanes as there are no obstructions whether taking off or landing.

Back in 2018, I flew MNL-GES, but we got diverted to DVO for some maintenance issue (I think landing gear issue), since there were no maintenance personnel at GES. We were stuck in the plane for over 2hrs i think. Then flew DVO-GES. fun times fun times, would do again. lol.
It make me feel sad..sana matapos na ang covid ng makapagbakasyon nman..hays miss gensan.
WOW we rarely get this footage of GES, not to mention it originating just from DVO!

the airport is impressively big and the runway is impressively long, so long that any aircraft could rotate halfway
I have been to Davao. Really clean city I must say.
Before I was thinking of the fesability of flights between Gensan and Davao due to how horrendous the traffic in davao is especially when entering the city. But since it only takes less then an hour to get to Davao and Gensan I realized it was impractical due to how short the flight time is and is only feasible in times like these downturn when airlines are trying to save money and jet fuel.
GES-DVO and DVO-GES are feasible, especially now that business activities between these two metropolia are ever-increasing. Much like when there were flights to and from DVO-CGY before. But since CGY was moved to Laguindingan, parang naging super layo na ng airport from Cagayan De Oro city proper. Soon baka Middle Eastern carriers would consider Middle East-DVO-GES-Middle East routes...or Middle East-GES-DVO-Middle East loop.

Siguro kapag my davao to gensan to davao na flight na, mas marami ng sasakay nalang ng eroplano.. For sure, yung unang sasakay ay mga nagmamadali para hindi ma late at maka abot sila sa kanilang pupuntahan or di kaya naman yung mawawalan ka ng lakas dahil sa sobrang suka mo sa bus lahat ng kinain mo ubos lahat 😂😂😂 tapos iisipin mo na anong oras pa kaya to dadating dahil hilong2x kana.. 😂😂😂

Sorry, just a cargo flight.
It will almost be impossible when driving to Gensan to Davao its only 2-3hours when riding a bus it will only cost below 200pesos but if you will ride a plane it will be in the thousand mark
