I just bought a band new 2024 Colorado Z71 and my screen is full screen on the gage cluster. That's really a strange thing with GM that they do little strange things like that. I have 360 camera and all the other options this one has except a rear seat middle cup holder fold down, mine is a flat back. Interesting to see different packages with these. I thought all the Z71s were all the same 🤷♂️
Hi there! Thank you for the great review! I am currently waiting for my Z71 that I just ordered from GM in the West Island. The demo that I tried had a larger Cluster with the function of switching to the smaller versions on the wt and LT. It should be just the push of a button ;)
Unreal 59,500 for a Z71 🤯 I payed 41,100 for my Colorado Trail Boss same color, better looking stance, power seat, tow package, cruise, sprayed liner, soft tailgate with tailgate storage etc, every option you can get on a TB including the 430# torque upgrade,,,,20k more for a Z71? This truck is as much as a ZR2 Desert Boss!
I love a lot of things about both the 2024 Ford Ranger and the 2024 Chevy Colorado...I just wish there was a mid size truck that had the best of both worlds. The Chevy's biggest downfall, in my opinion, is their infotainment system. When it works, it's awesome...but my son in law bought a 2023 Z71 Colorado and says the infotainment system is horribly glitchy and buggy. He's also noticed the BLIS indicators on the mirrors light up at random times with no other cars around. I hope Chevy has solved the build quality issues, as that's been a big thorn for many. (My son in law's new Colorado had a rear door so misaligned it couldn't be closed without hitting the door frame). The Ranger would be a great alternative, but for their 10 speed (10R80) transmission. That transmission caused both my brother and son in law to move on from them, as that transmission develops some pretty serious gear hunting, gear "slamming", and "jerkiness"...happened in both of those 2019 Rangers...and I don't think Ford has moved away from that transmission for the 2024 model year. Ford's infotainment system is more reliable that what I've seen from GM as well.
We've heard from some other owners also about the infotainment system. It's a step in GM's direction to get more OnStar subscribers by limiting what the system can do. We haven't heard of any serious build quality issues, sounds like you had a bad one though.
Thanks for the quick reply...always nice to see that. I'm confused, though, about your statement that GM's trying to push more OnStar subscribers. It's not that GM's infotainment system is limited, as it's fine for my needs. It's just that it's very unreliable. I know GM's made no secret their long term plan is to eliminate Apple CarPlay and Google, and move to a GM infotainment "suite" they hope users will subscribe to. But offering an infotainment system like what they have now is not going to win them many subscribers who will want to pay for a glitchy system.
Everything has gotten a lot more expensive in the past couple years. Sales seem to be solid on these though, so despite the increase people are still paying.
I'm nearing retirement age and having worked and saved for decades can buy any vehicle I want. That said, I will probably never buy a new truck as they are insanely over priced. Extremely poor investment. I bought a used 2020 Tundra SR5 4x4 for $27k a couple years ago and hating spending even that much.
@@beverlyyoungblood3652How are they down when their are none on the lots? The lots are full of Silverados but no Colorados here in Phoenix!! I’ve been waiting for a part since I bought mine in July, I have allready payed the truck off and still don’t have the part!
Just bought one of these yesterday and I love it already! Such an awesome truck!
Glad to hear it, enjoy!

They recently did a big update with the 2022.5 Silverado/Sierras, with a mid-year refresh.

I imagine that was $41k USD.
Nice job from Pincourt Quebec!
Thanks! you might see me around!
Awesome, thank you!
I got a 23 Colorado z71 for 38k and only 2700 miles on it
Fair enough! Off-demo I imagine?

The infotainment system in my Colorado has been excellent. Maybe it was an early bug they were able to correct.
Large screen I think is standard on 2024.
Seems like it
Frontier, Colorado, or ranger ?
We'd like to try the Frontier, Tacoma, and the new Ranger out to see how they compare.
@@PRNTestDrive off specs tho what would you prefer? And off pictures of course
I'm sure it's a nice truck but 50 grand for a mid size.

@@PRNTestDrive Colorado sales are down 40%. They will continue to drop at this insane prices.

He said 59,500 allmost 10k more than 50k these sell for 43k to 44k in Phoenix, they had a ZR2 for 53k
How much cc?
2.5L
2024 get 430 torque.
True
I turned it off 13secs after i heard ZEAD71....jesus!!!
Well, I'm sure you can find plenty of American Channels out there that pronounce that letter the way your precious little ears can tolerate.
I hope a small 2 door electric truck comes out.
That would be pretty cool!
No
@@mabelpup8502agree. No…..
Probably unlikely given the current market for EVs.
It's "Z" 71 not Zed 71. No offense but it was a cringe moment every time you said it.
Yes, because the entire planet revolved around the USA. Anything else just doesn’t compute.
Its z71 not zeeed 😂
Only when the 🌎revolves around 🇺🇸, which it doesn’t.
@@PRNTestDrive how would you pronounce zoo? Just curious. "Zedoo"?
It's an American truck. So yeah that's why is Z not Zed @@PRNTestDrive
