Arizona Camping HIDDEN Treasure!! (Forked Pine Camp Ground Flagstaff, AZ)

- I stumbled onto a little jewel of a campground near Flagstaff, AZ. Follow me and the pups as we camp at "Forked Pine Campground" on beautiful Ashurst Lake. I get some good fishing in and managed to catch a Northern Pike!! I'll cook you a cast iron dinner and show you the worlds best quac toast with egg and don't forget the sriracha!! I find out its the luckiest day of my life and manage to burn myself with coffee like 3 times!!

When using peppers (as you often do) you should try roasting them either over the burners on your stove or over a fire outside. Let them turn black in places (not the entire pepper). Then close them up in a paper bag for about 10 minutes. When you take them out peel the outside skins off and the chop them up and use them as you wish. This process gives them a sweet flavor……… Enjoy!

I can't believe I didn't comment on this. I've never caught a Northern Pike but I know you don't put your fingers in their mouth unless you want to draw back a nub, lol I was taught that finding pennies was blessings. May you be blessed many times over. I enjoy your videos. Stay safe!

I’m hoping that soon enough my channel will be able to fund traveling to further locations and when that happens, I do plan on taking very long road trips around the United States, and possibly Canada and Mexico! Never knew northern pike were even in AZ. Yep still loving your humor, cant get enough. Im interested in what years were the pennies? Thats pretty crazy Frazier was just hanging out by them, and they were there.
Yeah, I guess those northern pike are not native to the area and they are actually destroying all the other fish in the lake so they tell everybody if they catch one to just kill it. I know it probably did more harm than good, but I threw mine back in the water ha ha.
As for the pennies, I don’t remember what the years were, but I did look at them to see if any of the dates meant anything to me, but none of them were any dates that I knew of

Yea I agree yes it’s hard I just lost my mom recently now I have to take care of my dad I’m a only child it’s hard I really don’t have any family in New Jersey they moved out to Florida last year I’m doing the very best I can to keep him comfortable life is hard sometimes but u have to do what u have to do u know anyway thank u so much for responding to my question so fast.. Nice spot. That was a big fish but it didn't look very tasty. So are you living out of the camper or the trailer these days? What are your plans for the camper coming up? Are you heading towards high elevations with the temps heading higher?
Hello, I threw the fish back because I don’t think they are good to eat. But it was cool catching one 😁. I actually live in both campers about 50/50. I was staying up in higher elevations because it was cooler but my new air conditioner finally arrived so I’ll be installing that soon. Then I’ll be able to go anyplace 😁. I actually am not sure where I’m going next though. I’m wanting to head east towards Alpine, AZ but not sure when yet. Thank you so much for watching 😊

I have heard that N. Pike will eat every other fish up in a lake! Don’t know validity but heard it from Minnesota friends, they have lakes with lot of Pike.

Good morning!! ☀️ I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad…. I couldn’t imagine how hard that is 😢 Mason is a long haired chihuahua and so was Frasier. Both were/are the best dogs I have ever had!! I would like to find Mason a friend one day!! But you don’t see a lot of long haired chihuahuas at the humane society 🤷 at least here you don’t.
