- This week we hit the road in search of cooler weather for a long weekend away in the mountains and trees of Flagstaff Arizona!
We ended up camping at Woody Mountain Campground for the weekend; camping in our @GFC v2 Camper on a 5ft bed Nissan Frontier!

@@Kadenventures The screened in room looks great. I looked at a gazelle for Maine with maybe a wood stove jack. I already have an eskimo fishing hut with one and a military stove but the gazelle can have two rooms. It's a game changer having all the space and planning what to do with it all.
@@JohnLaFosse Thats awesome! We used the same tent when we would ice fish in Alaska. If we ever buy a ground tent it will definitely be a pop up tent like the Gazelles! These pop up tents are such a game changer compared to traditional pole tents
The World Famous San Diego Zoo👍 That squirrel was the size of a cat!
We were surprised by how giant these squirrels were! lol our entertainment for the night

As for the drive thru Bearizona. Yeah a big no just based on $$$. Talking about yummy Yes...we got a gallon of the Milo Ice Tea last year camping at the beach. Wow amazing. Thankfully our local Walmart stocks it. 😊
The pizza looked very tasty. We love using our Coleman oven for pizzas. But I have to say I like your method.

For this trip I think it did help! But we'll continue to do some testing in different areas to see if its effective elsewhere like Lake Mead (when its not scorching hot in Vegas lol) but we will keep testing and keep you posted!
Yes!! We found Milo's ice Tea at Walmart and had to grab some lol Carly is originally from Alabama so we usually get some when we are visiting there.
We may upgrade to a Coleman Oven one day! This method for melting cheese definitely worked in a pinch lol

My wife and I had annual passes to the SD Zoo and Safari Park for many years when we lived there. SD Zoo is second to none. It's also right next to Rube Powell archery range in Balboa Park. We would regularly go to the range, zoo and hit Lucha Libre in North Park for dinner. Cheers mang!!

Thats awesome! Didnt even know there was an archery range there but I also feel like we've only scratched the surface of everything Balboa park has to offer since its a huge area lol We will keep Lucha libre in mind for lunch next time were out there!! Cheers J!

Its actually a silk cap that Carly uses to sleep with at night lol! I think it helps keep her hair shape? idk lol! And we didnt hear any highway traffic luckily, this particular spot we were essentially in the middle of the campground so we werent close to any main road

Interesting you put up the EA bug house in 2 minutes and I never saw you open your awning.
With how our campsite is setup and our awning permanently attached to the passenger side of the truck, the awning would have been useless so we didnt open it at all this weekend. The downside of having a permanent awning so the bug net is a great addition to be able to move it to where you want it at camp. Thanks for watching!
