This is a lovely song, based on an old folksong, Aura Lee. Elvis made this into a classic, but Dan, imo, is on another level. Saw this Movie with Elvis in when I was 13 yrs in 1956 and still love it I'm 80 now and this was the first song I heard Dan sing so of course I was a fan .
Thanks for another great reaction to Dan Vasc. As much as I love to hear his metal/rock voice, it is nice to hear him sing a slow ballad with his beautiful, rich vocals. He did hit his 1M mark this afternoon. He worked his tail off to get there and we fans are all the better for it. I look forward to the next one.
