As a 79 year old woman, I can tell you that I love Dan Vasc. His music and his heart bring so much joy into so many lives.
You really need to watch an American Trilogy, Elvis was his fathers favorite singer. Dan recorded AT just five days after his fathers passing. It’s heartbreaking watching him struggle to sing, but somehow he did. Do yourselves the favor and watch it. You will not be disappointed.
Just wanted to add one little caveat... be sure to have a box of tissues close by. 😢
Dan not only has a beautiful voice, he has a beautiful heart. We are all blessed to share a little bit of his journey.❤
It's such a strange sensation to shed tears and smile at the same time because the rendition was so very beautiful.
Dan makes my list of good humans for doing such a sweet thing.
I'm sure it gave such joy and comfort to Annie and Robert.
The song of course is timeless and amazing on it's own but the emotion and tenderness that Dan added to this was simply brilliant.
Elvis would be quite proud.

A lot of celebrities just use their platform to promote themselves which is okay, it’s their business. Dan has a big heart and I love that he let everyone know about Robert & Annie! I think that if I had heard this with no visual, it would have taken me a bit to realize it wasn’t Elvis. Even though Dan comes across as being very intense and fairly fierce, he does seem to have a good heart and a great sense of humor. Catching a bit of his gaming channel lets one see him more relaxed. He also doesn’t mind poking fun at himself. I’m thoroughly enjoying exploring Dan’s catalog of music!
After watching this the first time I cry before it even starts when watching it again. Such a sweet young man.

The melody of Love Me Tender was taken from the American Civil War song, Aura Lea. I knew it as a folk song before Elvis' version.
