- There are many healthy foods you should be eating on a regular basis. These foods can dilate the vessels so more blood circulation can get to all the cells of the body. These foods will also help in removing the bad plaquing cholesterol.
Your good health has an enemy-atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is common. And its effects can be very serious. This condition can lead to strokes, heart attacks, and permanent health problems.
What is atherosclerosis?
The inside walls of healthy arteries are smooth and clean. This makes it easy to transport the blood your body needs. But arteries can become clogged. Fatty substances like cholesterol can stick to artery walls. These deposits are called plaque. Plaque can eventually slow or block the flow of blood. This blockage is atherosclerosis. It can affect any artery in your body. When atherosclerosis affects the arteries that supply blood to the heart, it's called coronary artery disease. Two things may occur where a plaque develops. A plaque may break off or a blood clot may form on the plaque's surface. If either of these situations occur, it may lead to a blockage of an artery and ultimately a heart attack or stroke.

I've been on atorvastatin for years but my cholesterol was still high. I started doing olive oil, Chia seeds, cayenne, sardines along with Taurine supplementation. My cholesterol dropped from 220 in October '23 to 173 last week.

Can you please share your diet. Did you eat grains? My cholesterol is 167 and my doctor has put me on statin which I am considering but haven't started. I wanted to take Dr. M's elixir (EVOO, cayenne, honey, lemon) but wondered if eating grains would make it worse. I have given up sugar and added sugar and most of the fruits. Eat only one apple a day.

It's a great video, one thing I recommend everyone is lemon water in the morning instead of orange juice or any other juice , works like magic over time .
This video deserves an Award. As somebody who wanted to be 100% plant based, I now will limit meat to 1 to 2 times a week surrounded by plant based wonderful things.
Meat is a Superfood
Plant based full of sodium and other preservatives and additives
Cloves are good. Put one in your tea. Then chew it when it's soft.
What a good idea!! I’ve tried clove tea three per 2.5 cups was waaay strong and not too tasty so I’ll try add 1 clove to another tea and chew it afterward for oral health.

I had a heart attack 3 weeks ago and everything you have listed here is what I have been eating a lot of. I have stopped all cheese and chocolate and only have one cup of coffee a day . Thank you for your wise advice, I am now adding green tea to my diet x

Are you concerned about the saturated fat in dark chocolate?
I am grateful for this because I lost both of my parents to plaque and circulation related problems.
I have no underlying health conditions but I lost my mom at age 42 and my grandfather at the age of 60 both heart so this is shaking me to know my cholesterol is high and the doctor says it's genetic😢

I listen to you constantly, and have been following this protocol for years before I ever found you. This video is basically my diet yet my cholesterol is getting higher and higher and higher. Today I went on Zetia because it is out of control and I’m scared. What am I doing wrong? I’m walking, working out eating healthy. No meat but salmon and tuna, no alcohol, no cigarettes almost no sugar. What am I doing wrong Doc?
Stop the high fat that they are all recommending. Also, sleep well and reduce stress. Meditate to reduce your mental stress.

I've been eating nuts since 1947 so got a long history there. Confused about EVOO because some vegan doctors say it's harmful. Hope it's safe cause it really helps veggies taste better. Thanks for the great info.
