That child would have been an adult by now, he'd still be free and be done with child support and alimony if he had parted ways with her. But instead...
@Kyle you can’t blame a guy for murdering his wife and unborn child because of alimony and child support? It’s very clear that nobody will ever love you
I feel he's guilty, but no he wouldn't be done. Regular chuld support usually ends at 19 1/2. Then it extends for however long they go to college, he may also have to pay for 3/4 the child's college tuition, plus expenses. Then he has to petition for it to end. Alimony would be done yes that's true, but he would of been ordered to pay half his savings, pension, 401k ect ect to Laci, if they didn't have one, a lump sum number would of been ordered as a pay out. He would also be responsible for giving her half the money for the sale of the house, providing her a new car and money towards rent for quite a few years. Scott was looking at a huge pay out because he was already providing, and they would have kept her comfortable. Men today have it really bad when it comes to divorce, especially if he makes more, and/or she was a stay at home house wife/mom. IMO this was his motive 😢
Some of her points have made me question certain moves. Such as the police saying the burglary took place 12/26. Why would someone burglarize a residence surrounded by media regarding a dead woman? While I think Scott is as guilty as they come, I think there are certain holes that can call reasonable doubt into question.
Abortion is not illegal no1 should be in jail for Abortion plus scott is innocent of laceys murder and Conor was aborted without a license he shouldn't be mentioned like the millions of others not mentioned legally aborted just cuz u do an abortion without a license its not murder
True. The ultimate discard of his unwanted wife and child to be with the new supply. In his view it was easier than divorce and sorting out payments. Narcissist men do not like having children.
@@jordanflores5687 Why did Scott tell his gf Amber “I didn’t do it but I know who did” in a recorded conversation? (p. 128 of her book). If he knows who did it, why isn’t he telling everyone???
@jordanflores5687 you're right. It wasn't him being a narcissist that made him guilty of murder. It was the fact there was over 1100 pieces of very incriminating evidence that makes him guilty of murder. Period.
@@fentanylfloyd5678 Did u ever see a troll?! They are the most ugliest disgusting and heartless creatures in this world. So be careful looking in the mirror and thinking of your good friend Scott Peterson. Your likely to cause your mirror to shatter. Scott is guilty of more than just murder. He's guilty of cheating on his wife, lying to the police, his girlfriend, speeding to evade cops, need I say more. But Trolls like you just don't get it. U see either Scott murdered Laci or he hired someone to. He could never confess. Yet he's the most hated man in this country. He did this to himself. He's a lying SOB who premeditated his pregnant wife's murder. So he couldn't have ever loved his wife. He chose the wrong path to gain his freedom back. I don't feel one bit sympathy for the guy. He brought this all on himself. Now he's finally done for.
He wants to change the publics perception and yet he was committing crimes from jail. He is one of many Cali prisoners who fraudulently filed for Pandemic Unemployment Funds and was erroneously approved.
Ladies if a man tell you they don't want the child when you already pregnant run no matter what. No marriage wealth of death. This man warn them and they choice to stay. i am happy justice did it job. Prayers to that family.
This guy found out that it wasn't worth it. The only thing he had to do was get a divorce. But he didn't want to pay child support. While he was having an affair.
Scott was going for the $250K life insurance , Laci had! By killing her and play the game she disapeard etc... had a chance to get the money, also the house. Divorcing would have cost him for years as wife and child support payments, loosing the house and other things.
@@szaki Wrong again! Brian testified in court that he became licensed in January of 2001 and had called Scott and Laci to see if they wanted a no cost financial evaluation. Scott and Laci agreed. Brian suggested whole life policies; $250,000 on Scott and $100,000 on Laci. Brian testified it was Laci who thought their policies should be equal. They had a mortgage on the house genius. It's *losing not "loosing"
Scott tells Amber he lost his wife a couple of weeks before she went missing, and this would be his first Christmas without her. And, by christmas, Laci really was gone! On the day he said that to Amber he bought a secret boat no one knew about. He also made five anchors, four of which were never recovered. The one that they did have, didn't match the cement in the driveway, which is where Scott said he'd used the rest of the missing cement, proven in court. Laci didn't know about, nor had she ever been in the boat, yet, a couple of Lacis hairs were found, wound tightly in some pliers. Agreed to take a lie detector test, but backed out after his father advised him not to. Upon returning home, he immediately washed his clothes, ate, and took shower. After getting out of shower, instead of just calling Lacis cell phone one more time, he calls her mom and tells her Laci is missing. He told, at least, three people he'd been playing golf, before finally sticking to the fishing story. Speaking of fishing, Scott told the detectives that going fishing that morning had been a last minute decision. But, this was an obvious lie because he'd purchased a two-day fishing license dated for the 23rd & 24th, a few days before. Or, maybe he's just psychic, and predicted he'd be making that "last minute" decision! When he took the detectives to his warehouse, he led them to believe the power was out, when the truth was, only his office in the warehouse had lighting, but the warehouse, itself, was only lit by a sky light during the day. When he went to the station to answer questions, he was already refering to Laci in past tense. Saying, "Laci was pregnant." Shouldn't that be IS pregnant? It wasn't past her due date. He did the same thing in his interview with Diane Sawyer. By then, he'd been made aware he shouldn't do that, as he immediately corrects himself saying, "is amazing" after he'd said 'was'. A huge red flag for the detectives on the case. On the night of Dec 24th, the day Laci went missing, Scott was already inquiring about grief counseling for Lacis family. Really??? She's not even yet gone a full 24hrs! I've never heard of anyone doing that over someone being missing for only a few hours! It just seems like Scott knew she wasn't coming home. The next day, Scott called the detectives asking them if they'd be bringing in and using cadaver dogs. She hadn't even been gone a full 24hours, and, he is inquiring about cadaver dogs! Another huge red flag to the detectives working the case! He sold Lacis car while still missing, before her body was found. And, inquired about selling their home before she was ever found too! He even wanted to sell it with all their furniture! Supposedly, he doesn't know if Laci is dead or alive, but has no problem selling her car and their home, with all their stuff in it? He told lie after lie after lie. Of course the big, well known lie was when he called Amber from Lacis vigil. Right before, during, or after just doesn't matter, at all! His mistress should've been the last thing on his mind at any moment during that event. It was well known he didn't want children, and wasn't thrilled about Laci being pregnate. Even telling his sister-in-law he was hoping for infertility. Laci telling her mom Scott wouldn't touch her belly to feel baby kicking. He didn't participate in the searches for Laci, opting instead, to secretly go to the bay, park his car, and just watch the search that was going on in the bay. Instead of showing grief about his wife being missing he, instead chose to flirt with his sisters baby sitter. Offering to make her drinks he called, "flirtinis". The baby sitter was so weirded out by Scott, she left! In one of the recorded calls with Amber, Scott tells her that if the police find any evidence, he'd lose his freedom. Not a confession, but close enough! When the due date, of the birth of his missing baby came around, he didn't have a gathering of friends & family to remember Laci & Conner. No, he didn't do anything at all to remember them. And, that would've been fine, if he chose to do nothing, no problem. But, he DID choose to do something. Since that day was also Ambers Bday, Scott chose to celebrate it, by hiding a bag of jewelry and a CD, etc for Amber to pick up. It seems it was Amber he wanted to remember & honor, not his missing wife & baby. When a body of a baby washed ashore, and then a body of a woman who had been pregnant washed ashore shortly after, within just a couple of miles from where he says he was 'fishing', he never even called anyone about it to see if it was Laci. About a week or so later, he was caught trying to flee with just about everything he owned, BUT his golf clubs and golf shoes. I add that he didn't have his clubs & shoes because Scott tried telling the cops that he was just going to play golf, not flee! However, the list of things he had with him is just as long, if not longer than my list here of the evidence! I could go on & on! I know there's more, but I'm drawing a blank on the rest. Can anyone else think of anything I've forgotten? Okay so, one or two things on this list would be maybe a coincidence. three or four things --- sketchy, but okay. All these things plus more --- he's guilty, guilty, guilty! And, I don't even have it all listed here.
@@mazza_razzza -BOAT WAS NOT A SECRET Laci DID know about the boat. "Scott had told the police that Laci knew about the boat and that she had been to the warehouse on December 20, 2002. Detective Brocchini was told about an eye witness who confirmed seeing Laci at the warehouse (where the boat was stored). When he heard about this witness in August of 2003, he purposely left it out of his police report. While under oath during the trial, he admitted to excising the information from his police report and acknowledged that he did not think it had been reported by any other officer. This woman later confirmed that Laci was at the warehouse on December 20, 2002. This situation confirmed that Scott was once again being truthful. It was Detective Brocchini who had been deceptive. Guy Miligi told police on January 4, 2003 that he and Scott had discussed purchasing a ski boat together prior to December. Jodi Miligi told police that Scott discussing a boat one to three weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Brian Ulrich told detectives on January 4, 2003 that Scott had been discussing buying a boat for over three months. Scott withdrew the $1400 from his joint checking account with Laci. Also, Scott did not try to hide his identity from Bruce or the DMV. Scott gave accurate information to Bruce including his home address. This information was filed with the DMV on 12-9-02. Another boat Scott looked at on December 8th was not registered with the DMV, so Scott decided not to purchase it. It was also the sellers request that Scott pay cash. HAIR WAS NOT WRAPPED AROUND PLIERS HENDEE: No, it didn't wrap around the pliers, didn't wrap around the needle nose. It just went through. It looked like at one location it just went through the pliers. Nancy Grace "round and round and round" the pliers. Other reporters also characterized the hair as wrapped multiple times in the pliers when it was NOT. Even testing came back negative and the criminologist determined they were too rusted to have been used in the crime. -DID NOT MAKE FIVE ANCHORS. They did not find cement anchors in the bay even though the State alleged he made 5 anchors. These distinctive circles that Brocchini said were on the trailer resembled rectangular shapes from cement bags from work he did at house in September. The pitcher the prosecution alleged Scott made the anchors in didn't even fit. -CEMENT DID MATCH THE SAMPLE IN THE DRIVEWAY CONCRETE EXPERT GEBLER: Yes. In our sample we found fly ash, cement, pea gravel and sand, similar to what was described by Mr. O'Neill. GERAGOS: Does that mean that the cement that was used in the anchor and the cement that you've collected here and the cement sample that you also observed, does that mean that they all are one and the same? GEBLER: They're all consistent. They all have, they all have all, from what I saw, the, the, the anchor and these materials are consistent with each other. GERAGOS: What does that mean? GEBLER: With the concrete. GERAGOS: You say they're consistent. Does that mean they have all the same components? GEBLER: Yes, sir. -AGREED TO POLYGRAPH 3 TIMES 1)BROCCHINI: Would you be willing to take a polygraph? PETERSON: Sure. BROCCHINI: So what you’re telling me Scott is there no, you have no idea where Laci is. PETERSON: None. 2)BROCCHINI: Would you be willing to take a polygraph? PETERSON: Yeah . . . They're accurate, right? BROCCHINI: Yeah, yeah, I mean I, it's not nothing that can be used against you, but yea, I believe they're accurate. PETERSON: No, I'm certainly willing. BROCCHINI: It wouldn't be now, it'd be, ya now, in a day or two. PETERSON: Now . . . BROCCHINI: It's just like the next step in this thing. PETERSON: Sure. 3)Scott arranged an appointment with Melvin King for February 1, 2003. He was due to meet Amber Frey at the office of Expert Polygraph Services, but upon arrival Peterson saw Brocchini and could not see Frey in attendance. Believing that Amber was in collusion with Law Enforcement and that this was a set up, Peterson left. -SCOTT ASKED ABOUT COUNSELING FOR HER FAMILY. PETERSON: The only question I have what about resources available. You saw my mother-in-law tonight, uhm, anyway, you saw some of my wife’s friends, myself… BROCCHINI: What do you mean like for? PETERSON: Counseling and that kind of thing. -Scott Cadaver dogs "7:20 pm Scott called Brocchini to ask him if they were using cadaver dogs to look for Laci in Dry Creek Park. Brocchini told Scott he hadn't considered her being dead yet, so they hadn't used cadaver dogs. They talked for 5 minutes. Since Scent dogs can also find dead humans, those who knew they were using K-9s may not have known the difference between a K-9 and a cadaver dog." -GOLFING VS FISHING He told ONE person he was playing golf, Not three. He told dozens of people he was fishing including police. At around 6:11 pm, the first officer, Sergeant Evers, arrived on the scene after Laci was reported missing. When he asked Scott where he was that day, Scott immediately told him that he had been fishing that day in the bay. Scott also gave Sgt. Evers his receipt from the Berkeley Marina parking lot to show that he'd been at marina that day. Cell phone records and transactions confirm where he was. "Harvey testified that he told his wife and multiple others that Scott told him that he'd gone golfing on December 24th . However, no one testified that Harvey had told them that. Harvey did not tell the police until June of 2003 that Scott told him that he'd been golfing, despite the fact that Harvey knew his wife had been told by Scott that he was fishing and the police were publicly trying to corroborate Scott's alibi for December 24th . Harvey Kemple also testified that he saw Scott lose his temper once and slam the lid to their barbeque. Scott and Laci's barbeque didn't have a lid. And finally, Harvey testified that he was told that Scott had been hanging out at the Del Rio Country Club while Laci was missing. When asked who told him that, he identified Dennis Tobin and a Country Club employee named Stephanie. Detective Grogan testified that when they followed up on Harvey's claims, they found that Dennis Tobin never saw Scott at the club while Laci was missing and there was no employee named Stephanie. So with Harvey Kemple's credibility in question, that leaves two people testifying to one instance of Scott saying that he had been golfing on December 24th . (Unlike Harvey, Amie Krigbaum did tell police in late December that Scott said he had been golfing that day. It is unclear when Terra Venable first told the police that she heard Scott say he'd been golfing.)" Message left by Scott to Laci. "Hi, beautiful. I just left you a message at home. 2:15. I'm leaving Berkeley. I won't be able to get to Vella Farms to get the basket for Poppa. I was hoping you would get this message and go on out there. I'll see you in a bit, sweety. I love you. Bye." -"If police *had found anything. . ." Two people told you this and you still lie about it.
-HE DID WANT CHILDREN Couples they hung out with started having babies, Scott and Laci surprised friends when they reversed an earlier stance of not wanting children. Laci, who had had surgery years earlier and was left with one ovary, knew it would be difficult to conceive and methodically tracked her cycle. Richardson said she recalls Laci expressing frustration that Scott always seemed to be traveling at the wrong time, and it took some time before Laci was pregnant. By early June, she got the good news. She enrolled in a prenatal yoga course and attended Lamaze classes with Scott. They also got to work early on the baby's room. Consistent with the decorations for The Shack and with Scott's interest in fishing, the couple chose a nautical theme, even hanging a life preserver decoration that read: "Welcome Aboard." Brent Rocha confirmed that Scott did indeed plan to have a family, and was quite emotional about becoming a father: Mark Geragos: And also fair to say that she was very excited about the kid? Brent Rocha: Yes. Mark Geragos: Okay. And Scott was as well? Brent Rocha: Yes. Mark Geragos: When he talked about, when you talked to him, he would express the fact that he's, I mean he's a goal-oriented person; you heard that description earlier today. You would agreed with that, right? Brent Rocha: Yes. Mark Geragos: And is, one of his goals was to have a child and a family? Brent Rocha: Yes. Mark Geragos: Okay. And he told you that he was thinking about what kind of father he was going to be and he was crying and he said he was going to be great; isn't that what he told you? Brent Rocha: That's what he was saying. Sharon Rocha confirmed, on Larry King Live, that Laci told her Scott had changed his mind about having a baby shortly after they moved to Covena in October 2002: ROCHA: “that's when she told me that Scott had said that he didn't think he wanted to have children. Of course that concerned me because we'd had conversations before in his presence or they had had conversations in my presence about having children. KING: So then it shocked you? ROCHA: It did. It really surprised me. KING: But then she got pregnant. ROCHA: Well, then she went on to say that not only did she -- that he didn't think he wanted to have children, she also said that he didn't want to. So, I was -- I was really upset about that knowing that he knew how she felt about having children. And then it was about a month or so later, it was around Thanksgiving time she and I were in the kitchen preparing dinner when she told me that she's going to stop taking birth control pills in December. Well, that surprised me because it had only been a month ago that Scott didn't want to have children. So, we had a conversation about that and I said, "Are you sure? Are both of you absolutely sure because you can't put the baby back once he's here"? Well, it was an it at that time. It was nothing at that time. And she said, yes, that they had talked about it and they were ready that Scott was ready also. Greg Reed gave testimony about Scott's and Laci's relationship, and Scott's participation in Laci's pregnancy. HARRIS: You also, Kristen, your wife, became friends with Laci, is that fair? REED: All four of us met at the same time. HARRIS: And they became friends separate of you and Scott? Kristen and Laci became friends? REED: Yes, they did. HARRIS: And at some point you and your wife began a Lamaze class at your home, is that correct? REED: That is correct. HARRIS: And you asked Scott and Laci if they would like to join in the Lamaze class? REED: That is correct. HARRIS: And they agreed to do that, right? REED: Yes. HARRIS: Okay. During about a one month period, they came to your house on a weekly basis to participate in the Lamaze classes, is that right? REED: That's probably about right. About once a week. HARRIS: You got a chance to see them interact quite a bit during that, didn't you? REED: Yes. HARRIS: And your impression, from telling the police, your impression was that they were a very happy couple? REED: Yes. HARRIS: And, in fact, you told the police Scott treated her very, very well? REED: Yes. HARRIS: They both, I believe your quote to the police was they were both very excited about the baby coming, is that right? REED: That's what it appeared, yes. HARRIS: And you were called in an interview you did with the police, excuse me. Let me take that back. Do you recall an incident at one point where you were looking through a catalog called Cabella's catalog? REED: Yes, I remember that. HARRIS: What is the Cabella's catalog? REED: It's a hunting, fishing, outdoors-type of magazine. And equipment. HARRIS: And they actually sell kids' camouflage outfits, is that right? REED: In that magazine they were. HARRIS: In that particular one? REED: Yes. HARRIS: During that time you were looking at it, both you and Scott were going through the, the kids' section or the kids' outfits, hunting and fishing, or whatever outfits, and the two of you were talking and laughing about how much you couldn't wait to buy your kids those kind of outfits, is that correct? REED: I remember that clearly, that's correct. HARRIS: Okay. Scott was very excited about that possibility, wasn't he? REED: Yes. -DID NOT FLEE He was heading North. Last time I checked Mexico was south of the border. He was arrested at the golf course where he was meeting his brothers and Father. A recorded phone call was played by the defense in court where Scott tells he doesn't want his picture in the media again. -He calls Laci's mom after checking the voicemail. - CALL TO SHARONS DISTASO: And can you tell the jury, just tell us what happened. ROCHA: When he called he said, "Hi, Mom." He said, "Is Laci there with you or over there?" And I said, "No." And he said that her car is there, was there in the driveway and the dog was in the backward with the leash on and Laci was missing. I remember telling him to call her friends to see if anybody had seen or talked to her that day..... -SELLING THE HOUSE January 14, 2003 First hint at selling the house Terri Western. WESTERN: Yes, I did. As I did every morning. I was either the first one or one of the first that had arrived. And Scott was there that morning, and he was visibly upset. So I sat down next to him while he was going through the e-mails on the computer. And I said, "Scott," you know, "Are you okay?" And he said no. He goes, "I need to talk to you about selling the house. I can't have Laci come back here." DISTASO: And what did you respond to him, if anything? WESTERN: I responded with, "Well, Scott, I understand. However, now is not the time nor the place to discuss this." DISTASO: And did he mention that to you again about selling the house? WESTERN: No, he did not. (Trial) No effort was made by MPD or by the Defense, apparently, to determine what upset Scott so much. Scott didn't mention selling the house again to Western. Instead, he turned to Brian Argain. January 22, 2003 Scott again inquired about selling the Covena house "Scott called Brian Argain to inquire about selling the house. Transcript The phone conversation lasted 4 minutes and was captured in one of the wiretaps. Scott asked Brian about getting together with him to discuss the possibilities. He wanted to put it on the market right away, as a furnished home, and wanted it kept secret from the media. Scott said, 'no way is Laci coming back to that place.' Brian said since LE had already searched the house, he didn't know of any reason why Scott couldn't sell it, but he would check for him. They arranged to meet for lunch the next day to continue the conversation. -WAREHOUSE *LIGHTING Scott said there was no *lighting. Not "Power". His warehouse didn't have working lights. Hence Brocchini used the lights from the cruiser. Brocchini was called out on his lie during trial when he admitted he was aware of the fax that was sent and the indicator lights on the electronics. Brocchini lied, NOT Scott. Laci's Land Rover January 29th , Scott traded in their Land Rover for a 2002 Dodge Dakota pick up. We offer the following facts regarding the trade-in of Laci's car: Scott had asked several times for his truck to be returned to him (see Detective Grogan's testimony). It was not going to happen so Scott needed to make other arrangements because he needed a truck for work. The used, 2002 Dodge Dakota that Scott purchased on January 28th was worth less than the 2002 4x4 crew cab F150 the police had confiscated. The suggestion that Scott was uncaring and went to get a new truck while his wife was missing is unreasonable. Scott had a new truck before Laci went missing, but it was in police custody. Her car was traded in for the Dodge out of necessity
This resentencing was beyond horrific. Making Laci’s family relive the absolute unthinkable. God bless Laci’s family & friends. Please believe our hearts are always surrounding you with love & prayers 💜🙏🏻
I can't believe the first time he shows emotion relates to the publics perception of him. He never once showed any companion or emotion for his wife and child, yet he gets worked up about his image. True sociopath that should be kept away from society.
Then what is this? : Okay. Now, did you also say, in your response to Mr. Distaso's questions, that you'd never seen him hysterical, but you had seen him cry, you had seem him being emotional after Laci was missing, isn't that right? GRANTSKI: Yes, I had. GERAGOS: On more than one occasion? GRANTSKI: Yes. GERAGOS: He was extremely emotional, especially for him, because you had never seen him emotional at all before that? GRANTSKI: That's true. . .GERAGOS: The comment was, if I've got it right, he's in the driveway, is he standing with a police officer? GRANTSKI: He came walking up as I was talking to the police, to where I was standing. GERAGOS: Okay. And you say, How was golfing? GRANTSKI: Yeah. GERAGOS: Okay. And he said, GRANTSKI: He said I didn't go golfing, I went fishing. Officer Spurlock: Officer Spurlock: I saw Mr. Peterson. He seemed concerned. He had a look of concern on his face. I think he maybe even had some tears in his eyes. But as far as a frantic behavior, I wouldn't claim. Just frantic concern. … Mark Mark Geragos: Did he appear to be upset to you? Officer Spurlock: Yes. I would say so. Officer Evers: Mark Mark Geragos: When you saw them, you saw that Laci's mom Sharon, you know who Sharon is; is that correct? Officer Evers: Yes, I do. Mark Mark Geragos: She was crying, and she was very, very upset, correct? Officer Evers: That's correct. Mark Mark Geragos: When so Scott, when he walked up, he appeared to be very upset; is that correct? Officer Evers: That's correct. Mark Geragaos: And the other family members, you described them as just concerned, correct? Officer Evers: Yes. Detective Grogan: Mark Geragos: Now the, did you look at any of the interviews that Ms. Rocha had given, for example, to the Today Show on December 30th in which she says mom, that she said that Scott said, "Mom, is Laci there"? Craig Grogan: No, I have never seen that before. Mark Geragos: Did you ever look at the January 14th Today's Show where she said "I just immediately, I knew she was missing"? Craig Grogan: No, I have never seen that before. Mark Geragos: Okay. That would have been the January 14th show would have been two days before she was told about the existence of Amber Frey, is that correct, or the day before? Craig Grogan: It would have been the day before, yes. Mark Geragos: And that, at least if the transcript's accurate, she's the one who said that she knew Laci was missing just by the panic rising in Scott's voice, correct? Craig Grogan: Yes, that's what it says. Amie Krigbaum (neighbor): Amie Krigbaum: So I mean he, he was distraught; it kind of made me a little distraught, so I didn't really know how to handle the situation, so Prosecutor Distaso: Okay. Amie Krigbaum: I just kind of took bits and pieces of it and didn't really know what to do. I shut the door and kind of asked Terra, Help him look, or, you know? Greg Reed (Scott’s friend): Prosecutor Distaso: Okay. What, let me, before I show you the report and refresh your memory, what did, what was Mr. Peterson's, how did he sound on the message? Greg Reed: The perfect word would be frantic. Stacey Boyers (Laci’s friend): Mark Mark Geragos: You got a call from Scott approximately what time? Stacey Boyers: 5:26. Mark Mark Geragos: Okay. You know that now because you looked at cell phone records? Stacey Boyers: My cell phone records, yes. Mark Mark Geragos: You didn't just, Stacey Boyers: Didn't just pull that out, no. Mark Mark Geragos: Okay. Now, you get the call at 5:26. Was he upset? Stacey Boyers: Uh, yes. Lori Ellsworth (Laci’s friend): Lori Ellsworth: He had a different tone in his voice, yes. Pat Harris: He was panicked, wasn't he? Lori Ellsworth: Panic, maybe

It is incriminating that he went fishing on Christmas Eve, 60 miles one way, and lo and behold, THAT is when she went missing, and where their bodies were found! That has been the 1 thing that has always made me suspicious of Scott. He had a mistress, and he acts like a psychopath. Shows no emotion.
I agree with you, I also think he thought he was home free when he stupidly thought she was never going to be found, then to be recovered in the same area where he was “ fishing “. Can you imagine the look on his face when that happened?

And he told you that the water flow southbound was at four knots, right? GROGAN: In one particular area we were talking about, yes. GERAGOS: Okay. And he also said that, in his opinion, thirty pound of weights would not likely be enough to cause a female of that weight, especially wrapped in plastic causing additional buoyancy in the plastic to immediately go to the bottom, correct? GROGAN: Yes, that's one of the things he said. GERAGOS: And he said victim would likely have traveled with the currents for a considerable distance before any exposed weights could catch something on the bottom, or the current would allow the object to stay in one place long enough for the weights to begin to sink in the mud. GROGAN: Yes. When talking about the Richmond Turning Basin area, there. GERAGOS: If it had made it to deeper waters, it's possible the body would still be in pristine condition, right? GROGAN: Yes, sir.

They will drain any family of their money sadly. But it is their job and if hes psychotic and guilty hes going to do all he can to get out whether it drains his family and anyone else even if he did it and theres clear evidence. Only plausible evidence on his behalf is if perhaps she had an affair and maybe went back to her husband and that guy knew where Scott Peterson would be in order to frame him. All these comments presume that there is no Day of Judgement comming wherein everyone, no exceptions, will definitely be held accountable by an all knowing and truly righteous judge. It ain't over regardless of what the courts decide.
I think he'd have to be either very stupid, or wanting to be found guilty in the first place to dispose of his wife's body in the very place he gave the cops as his alibi for the reason he couldn't have done it. He was clearly set up - it's not by coincidence that the police leak info to the media about Scott's alibi, and then days later, Laci's body happens to turn up there (despite an extensive search of the area - prior to the leak - turning up empty-handed). To this day there's not been a shred of forensic evidence linking him to the murder - because it most likely took place at another location the cops don't know about. I think he's innocent, but even if he isn't, there certainly isn't enough evidence to suggest guilt.
He doesn’t have any right to be upset over anything. He has list all his rights of e pressing his opinion publicly. His rights are what the law will allow….but nobody wants to hear his opinions.
He most likely would’ve never gotten put to death anyway. The death sentence in this country is a joke. An inmate can appeal themselves into a death of natural causes as an elder. If someone is convicted & sentenced to death they should be given a set amount of time ( 1yr max) to get their affairs in order and or prove their innocence. Instead they just become another burden to tax payers. A death sentence should be an eye for an eye, not an eye for an appeal.

Of course.... California. If this guy and people like Charles Manson aren't the definition of guilty, I can't tell you what is. Leave it to the California taxpayers. Soooooo glad I don't live there.
Technically in California this is a murder because 1)this was in 2004 for the trial and sentencing, and 2) California doesn't have an explicit definition of human that is born like say New York so basically yes this is murder in California.

It only raises questions because you don’t pay attention. Laci’s son was 8 months pregnant. California restricts abortions after “fetal viability” (24-28 weeks).

@Kyle Your comment oozes of the materialist psychopathic mindset.
He wouldn't have had much of a life paying child support and alimony. Better to get rid of the problem.

Yes, that POS is guilty. Always has been.

When he heard about this witness in August of 2003, he purposely left it out of his police report. While under oath during the trial, he admitted to excising the information from his police report and acknowledged that he did not think it had been reported by any other officer.
It is unclear when Terra Venable first told the police that she heard Scott say he'd been golfing.)"
Message left by Scott to Laci.
"Hi, beautiful. I just left you a message at home. 2:15. I'm leaving Berkeley. I won't be able to get to Vella Farms to get the basket for Poppa. I was hoping you would get this message and go on out there. I'll see you in a bit, sweety. I love you. Bye."
-"If police *had found anything. . ."
Two people told you this and you still lie about it.
-HE DID WANT CHILDREN
Couples they hung out with started having babies, Scott and Laci surprised friends when they reversed an earlier stance of not wanting children.
Consistent with the decorations for The Shack and with Scott's interest in fishing, the couple chose a nautical theme, even hanging a life preserver decoration that read: "Welcome Aboard."
Brent Rocha confirmed that Scott did indeed plan to have a family, and was quite emotional about becoming a father:
Mark Geragos: And also fair to say that she was very excited about the kid?
Sharon Rocha confirmed, on Larry King Live, that Laci told her Scott had changed his mind about having a baby shortly after they moved to Covena in October 2002:
ROCHA: “that's when she told me that Scott had said that he didn't think he wanted to have children.
REED: Yes.
HARRIS: During that time you were looking at it, both you and Scott were going through the, the kids' section or the kids' outfits,
hunting and fishing, or whatever outfits, and the two of you were talking and laughing about how much you couldn't wait to buy your kids those kind of outfits, is that correct?
REED: I remember that clearly, that's correct.
HARRIS: Okay. Scott was very excited about that possibility, wasn't he?
REED: Yes.
-DID NOT FLEE
He was heading North. Last time I checked Mexico was south of the border.
He was arrested at the golf course where he was meeting his brothers and Father. A recorded phone call was played by the defense in court where Scott tells he doesn't want his picture in the media again.
-He calls Laci's mom after checking the voicemail.
- CALL TO SHARONS
DISTASO: And can you tell the jury, just tell us what happened.
-SELLING THE HOUSE
January 14, 2003 First hint at selling the house
Terri Western.
I can't have Laci come back here."
DISTASO: And what did you respond to him, if anything?
WESTERN: I responded with, "Well, Scott, I understand. However, now is not the time nor the place to discuss this."
DISTASO: And did he mention that to you again about selling the house?
WESTERN: No, he did not.
(Trial)
No effort was made by MPD or by the Defense, apparently, to determine what upset Scott so much. Scott didn't mention selling the house again to Western. Instead, he turned to Brian Argain.
January 22, 2003 Scott again inquired about selling the Covena house
"Scott called Brian Argain to inquire about selling the house.
-WAREHOUSE *LIGHTING
Scott said there was no *lighting. Not "Power". His warehouse didn't have working lights. Hence Brocchini used the lights from the cruiser. Brocchini was called out on his lie during trial when he admitted he was aware of the fax that was sent and the indicator lights on the electronics. Brocchini lied, NOT Scott.
Laci's Land Rover
January 29th , Scott traded in their Land Rover for a 2002 Dodge Dakota pick up. We offer the following facts regarding the trade-in of Laci's car:
Scott had asked several times for his truck to be returned to him (see Detective Grogan's testimony).

Amie Krigbaum: So I mean he, he was distraught; it kind of made me a little distraught, so I didn't really know how to handle the situation, so

Greg Reed (Scott’s friend):
Prosecutor Distaso: Okay. What, let me, before I show you the report and refresh your memory, what did, what was Mr. Peterson's, how did he sound on the message?
Greg Reed: The perfect word would be frantic.

GERAGOS: And he said victim would likely have traveled with the currents for a considerable distance before any exposed weights could catch something on the bottom, or the current would allow the object to stay in one place long enough for the weights to begin to sink in the mud.

A bullet is WAY cheaper than life in prison. Just saying.
if only lacy married someone else...her future would've been much different today.
but she didn't, she wanted him and now shes dead...
Janie Janie Janie. Wake up. Learn about circumstantial evidence. You've had time to see the truth. YOU ARE lowering yourself lying for a murderer who must be laughing at you himself. Stop embarrassing yourself
Omg YES 👏👏👏👏👏
Scott is a monster!
Was it worth it to do what you did Scotty.
@1:17 SCREAMS he's guilty what father doesn't want to feel their 1st unborn child move?
GUILTY!
Of course.... California. If this guy and people like Charles Manson aren't the definition of guilty, I can't tell you what is.
Leave it to the California taxpayers. Soooooo glad I don't live there.
If he gets released, he wouldn’t last a week in the streets lol
He could literally go anywhere
He’d move in with OJ.
He’s guilty
So I get it he probably did it but why was he denied to speak???
Was the SIL sleeping with him too? She’s just too much
She has the hots for him.
She wishes 🤣
No.. she was trying to get conjugal visits .. Some hanky pankee.. if you get my drift( jk in case they sue me here)
Let’s be honest, he was never gonna be executed anyway lmao. This whole re-sentencing was just a waste of time and money
It was a strategic play by his stupid defense. It’s the first step for retrial
Thank you!! Finally someone who recognizes a CHILD in the womb, also worthy of justice. That’s why abortion makes no sense.
This is totally different than an abortion.
Justice served ...again! 😁
so hes alive and shes dead.... uh huh.. you're paying for his meals, bed, laundry, water, electricity...

Yay!!!! I'm so glad he is paying for his crimes.
Scott Peterson is a monster!
You can't believe a thing Scott Peterson say's ...
He is a pathological liar.
I'm glad that they could clearly see he was guilty.❤️☮️🙏
Yea and Casey Anthony was clearly innocent lol

Haha! Have a nice life Scott

No Scott is not innocent
" This is why you shouldn’t get involved with people " james ! that is my all time favorite line ! NO DOUBT
Well, well, well!!!! It must be a really, really slow news day if they dug that boy up!!!!!
What a waste of our taxpayers money. His lawyer is a disgusting troll. How can he sleep at night?
He dreams about money
The bodies turned up close to where he went "fishing"?? Coincidence?
Huh, so the fetus, complete with a name, was a person murdered.
That raises a few questions
Technically in California this is a murder because 1)this was in 2004 for the trial and sentencing, and 2) California doesn't have an explicit definition of human that is born like say New York so basically yes this is murder in California.
8 month's pregnant. That's pretty much a full term, baby smart person.
@@zadinal he's talking about the abortion argument, that unborn fetuses are lives.
Meaning in liberal pro-choice California, you can selectively consider it a life for murder, yet not a life for abortion.
Of course the age of the fetus should equally be considered, yet I've heard of cases where the fetus was weeks old, and considered murdered for criminal cases.
If the woman wants the baby, its murder. If she doesn’t its a parasite. The difference? Consent of the Woman.
It only raises questions because you don’t pay attention. Laci’s son was 8 months pregnant. California restricts abortions after “fetal viability” (24-28 weeks).
That sister in law is obnoxious. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is free within the next 15 years with our crazy legal system.
She is in love with him.
He'd still be found Guilty. I wonder if he ever talks to Chris Watts..it just kinda makes sick sense that they'd be friends.
They are two peas in a pod.
I read that Chris Watts is friends with Jake Patterson, the guy who kidnapped a 13 year old girl and murdered her parents. They are in the same prison in Wisconsin.

Omg not his psycho sister n law defending him , your not even blood related, why even try to defend him , his family didn't even go speak on behalf.

You can see the evil and empty in his eyes.
But can you really? What does it look like exactly? Are you able to identify this attribute in all people that possess evil or just the ones that have a terrible public image?
@@ronnymorts you only have to look at his eyes to see it. It's totally obvious!

@@ReneeFabulous I'm not one who believes someone's eyes make a person guilty. What are these "1100 pieces of very incriminating evidence" Renee?
Why do so many narcissist/psychopaths family members stand beside them?

If he did that to my child and preborn grandchild,he would not have need of a prison cell to waste taxpayer's dollars.Just leave me alone with him for 5 minutes...So incredibly sad for her family, she was a beautiful woman, precious daughter, and would have been a wonderful mama!
If he did not want children then he should have practice abstinence
Or had a vasectomy done.

A little less time hating and little more time researching the facts.
I understand you have nothing else to do (like a job) but you really should stop acting like a child at least.
YOU SAID
Scott called Sharon and immediately said Laci is missing without asking if she had heard from her or seen her
TRUTH
-DISTASO: And can you tell the jury, just tell us what happened.
ROCHA: When he called he said, "Hi,
Mom." He said, "Is Laci there with you or over there?" And I said, "No." And he said that her car is there, was there in the driveway and the dog was in the backward with the leash on and Laci was missing. I remember telling him to call her friends to see if anybody had seen or talked to her that day.....

@@VideoFanatic02 Hi Sophie
This just shows how bad our justice system is. Scott Peterson should have NEVER got off death row.
Like most decent, thinking, feeling human beings, I felt fear at the thought of Scott Peterson going free. Someone starting a sexual affair only weeks before he "went fishing" right where his wife and unborn child's bodies were found, who acted like it was just a bummer after they died? THAT guy given a second chance? (At what? Killing his NEXT wife and unborn child?).
Scott Peterson is a Dangerous creature He is a Liar He should NOT be turned loose on the Public
@@leehawes8073 Our criminal justice system is a schizoid Jekyll-Hyde. One day it's jailing a homeless guy for shortchanging a convenience store less than 50¢ for a soda (true story, in Pennsylvania), the next day it's seriously considering releasing a psychotic family murderer because his lawyer knows how to poke holes in the same system. At what point does the system itself have to serve time in the prison of public awareness?

@@RnBReworked she didn't turn up days later. It was almost 4 months. If someone was trying to frame him they wouldn't have weighed the body down. They would want it to be found right away. Scott never thought she'd resurface which is why he wasn't worried about telling police where he was that day. He was more concerned with being 90 miles away from Modesto when his wife was 'abducted'
@@sophie8394 Okay, my bad - it all gets a little confusing. But how do you account for the fact that there has been no physical or forensic evidence linking him to the murder? Not at the home, in his truck, on his boat, at his place of work - that is extremely difficult to do unless you have the killing know-how of Dexter Morgan.
I have a question 2 day is Aug 29 late August can anyone tell me is Scott going back 2 Court in this Feb???? 2023????
He has no right to breathe much less speak about the two angels.
