The issue with obito is that this is 16 years before hand and Minato did a pretty decent job against him without sage mode. And considering the insane power leap of sage mode i definitely think minato would have won against obito before he even summoned the ninetails. I mean naruto goes from barely being able to use rasen shuriken correctly to pretty convincingly beating pain single handedly for like 99% of the fight. And i understand kurama has a crap ton of chakra but this is ridiculous. They did so many battles and kurama had to "gather more chakra" like twice and frankly it's just bull. And i can kinda give you that Sakura wasn't strong enough to awaken it maybe but it's hard to justify when it just shows up out of nowhere with 0 build up.

In relation to the other part, sage mode would definintely have helped but still no guarantee that one sage mode rasengan would be able to kill obito, i highly doubt that, and he would have escaped in the same way after that. the sakura part does have build up, if you watch the end of naruto (regular), tsunada is reluctant to give sakura to shikamaru's team (for the sand mission) because she is training and she is building up chakra in her 'dam' for this technique the kurama part is like saying why didnt the ten tails ever run out of chakra, or juubito, or madara. Kaguya was only running out of chakra because changing dimensions takes a shit ton of chakra to do, but naruto was primarily using kcm mode. I agree though, it does seem a bit far fetched that he is able to share a relatively strong amount of chakra to everyone while continously using an enhanced kcm for himself

It's still a plot hole but the reasoning I *try* to apply to Kamui is just that it's a far less taxing jutsu than others. I mean its utility puts it on par with all Mangekyo dojutsu arguably being the best one (actually probably not very arguably) but it's not as flashy, and there isn't as much raw power as the eye-bleeding abilities to infinitely incinirate someone or destroy someone mentally with torturing genjutsu, you just kinda, teleport. And you know, the lesser the tax on one's body and the lesser the 'raw power' of the jutsu - the lesser the effect of blindness as well. But even with this reasoning he should still be blind since Obito spams the move waaay too much. Anyway going into some Boruto content here, Shin's eye didn't bleed either when he used his Mangekyo becuase his ability was also quite simple. And this is further backed up by the fact that Obito's eyes *did* bleed when he tried something as taxing as trying to synchronise his space-time ninjutsu with Kaguya's. Anyway, to sum it up. I can explain why he doesn't bleed but can't explain what he isn't blind so yeah still a plot hole.

well, to be fair, if he did so on the early stages, Kurama's chakra will take over, and without Yamato in the early series (because Wood Style is one of the very few ways to suppress the Nine Tails Chakra), well, it would be bad. Jiraiya would have known this, but wouldn't suggest it because it will cause trouble if Kurama's chakra cannot be dealt with.

Minato couldn't have learned it later, unless they wanted to have him learn it in the after life. He dies immediately after the fight with Obito, so the only time he could've learned it would've been after being revived. Two other options they could've used (if they wanted to) would've been either Naruto briefly explains it to his dad, who, being a prodigy, is able to grasp a basic understanding immediately. Which would justify his comment about not being proficient. Alternatively, Kurama in Naruto was shown able to gather nature energy, so if the Kurama in Minato did the same, he could, in theory, skip the whole learning stage by having Kurama form the sage chakra while Minato used it. Tsunade didn't use her full strength because she was prioritizing protect the villagers. There was no reason to use it until she found pain, and immediately after Tendo found her, he nuked the village, forcing her to exhaust herself saving the people.

There's no way to prove it (I don't believe) but I'm pretty sure that how blind you go depends on each eyes ability. So I doubt Obito should go blind faster because he only has one eye and obviously can't use the other. So like, Kakashi and Obito would have different levels of blindness depending on their use of the Mangekyo. I mean when Sasuke fights Bee and uses Amaterasu he only bleeds from one eye since he's not using his other one to manipulate the flames. So in that situation only his one eye would suffer. The only reason say Itachi was overall blind was because (out of his screen time anyway) he uses his Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu pretty evenly. Anyway back to the main point, it's not that Obito shouldn't be blind, it's just I doubt he goes blind faster or anything. Obitos eye did bleed when using kamui in the fight against kaguya. And it's a plot hole when your characters just get random power ups with no build up training or any explanation whatsoever.

Two other options they could've used (if they wanted to) would've been either Naruto briefly explains it to his dad, who, being a prodigy, is able to grasp a basic understanding immediately. Which would justify his comment about not being proficient. Alternatively, Kurama in Naruto was shown able to gather nature energy, so if the Kurama in Minato did the same, he could, in theory, skip the whole learning stage by having Kurama form the sage chakra while Minato used it.
Tsunade didn't use her full strength because she was prioritizing protect the villagers. There was no reason to use it until she found pain, and immediately after Tendo found her, he nuked the village, forcing her to exhaust herself saving the people.

@@kyleward7417 I doubt it. He states that he's not as good at molding sage chakra as Naruto or Jiraiya (which implies he learned from Jiraiya), and if Kurama were molding the chakra for him, he would've had no reason to make that comment.

I don't think that's how that works either. I know Naruto had Kurama do that in his fight with Sasuke at the End of the War Arc, but I believe that was through a Shadow Clone like how he did with Pain. I'm not sure he's ever had his Biju gather the Nature Energy for him without that Clone aid.
for me the biggest plot holes is kakashi somehow can use all of the sharingan abilities even his not have the body,chara and bloodline of uchiha😂😂😂😂😂😂
If Minato used Sage mode back when he fought Obito then we probably won't have a story if Obito was defeated there then he woukd have never formed the Atkatsuki, so we all know how that woukd change the story

even madara got his eyes swapped...obito should of gone blind quicker cause he has 1 eye. ...wtf...also sasuke and naruto semi dying meeting the sage always was bizarre to me...I don't know...the sage kaguya and the plot of zetsu essentially is odd and full of plot holes and having one entity to blame like hes Hitler rids the human population of any guilt they might have had for giving into hate revenge and thus killing each other...kishi sets up moral dilemmas and human disagreement so well and then throws it away cause its easier to just blame zetsu ..wth...he shits on the best villain pain essentially in the war by introducing obito and madara and zetsu as the villains who caused all the pain to begin with
There's no way to prove it (I don't believe) but I'm pretty sure that how blind you go depends on each eyes ability. So I doubt Obito should go blind faster because he only has one eye and obviously can't use the other. So like, Kakashi and Obito would have different levels of blindness depending on their use of the Mangekyo. I mean when Sasuke fights Bee and uses Amaterasu he only bleeds from one eye since he's not using his other one to manipulate the flames. So in that situation only his one eye would suffer. The only reason say Itachi was overall blind was because (out of his screen time anyway) he uses his Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu pretty evenly.
Anyway back to the main point, it's not that Obito shouldn't be blind, it's just I doubt he goes blind faster or anything. Sorry for this long ass comment that discusses like 10% of your actual comment.
I don't see the whole Zetsu is maker of all shinobi history thing a plot hole as such but yeah I totally agree it takes away from the story. It makes Pain seem like his life-long goal was just a lie. And Hagoromo coming out of nowhere really is bizarre. I mean if Naruto and Sasuke were always Ashura and Indra reincarnates you'd think the series would try to hint at it a little.

The power ups is not plot holes. It's just unexplained power ups lol. Sakura could have somehow mastered prior to the war arc or its just one of those asspull moments where you just master jutsus on the spot. Not a plot hole, she's seen tsunades using it so it's not a surprise she masters it.
Swagkakes first five weren't really plot holes. But the last one with obito is definitely a plot hole.

The Eye bleeding probably just happens when activating amateratsu. Coz there was no bleeding for any other mongeykyo sharingan jutsu.
Obitos eye did bleed when using kamui in the fight against kaguya. And it's a plot hole when your characters just get random power ups with no build up training or any explanation whatsoever.
