Your work is, epic! Yes there is no, literally no other source doing your quality of testing real life dimensions. Amazing Thank you for all you do! 🙏🏿🍀
It would be interesting to see these charging tests with range numbers as well. This way you can see how much range at a given km/h rather than just battery percentage
Answering the question why would someone choose Kona over Ioniq 5/6… I'm not entirely sure about the big-battery one. But the smaller-battery option is still significantly cheaper than the cheapest Ioniq or even cheapest Tesla. It's still a comfortable and reasonably large family car. The range is not entirely bad, so it can still serve as the first/only family car for some people (a 500km trip is OK-ish with the previous small-battery one, the newer one has slightly bigger battery and faster charging). So I'd say it's not clear cut one way or the other.
Hi Bjørn. I am a bit confused now. You have given the Kona two thumbs up, and talked positively about the car in some of your videos. But in this video you are wondering why one should choose the Kona over Ioniq 5/6. Both these cars are one class up size- and pricewise. Ioniq 5 is 50k nok more expensive than the Kona. Have you changed your mind about the Kona, and should potensially customers look elsewhere for their next car?
Why didn’t I buy an EV6? Simples, it is too big and possibly not as efficient as the Kona. As for Tesla the insurance cost is just stupid. As it is I am buying a new garage door (wider) so I can put the Kona under cover. 😎 More money. ☹️. Thanks for you excellent reviews Bjorn. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Why is the Ariya 99% when at 55/63kWh (which is really 87%)? I am sure there is a simple explanation, but I don't know enough about how the batteries and charging work to understand where the percentage is coming from. Is it battery condition that is effecting this?
So still shiiittt compared to Tesla MY and I a guess the software also still slow and buggy? Telsa MY still on the top of the list to replace mine old Kona in June.

Ioniq 5 is a 3-4 years wait for us. Kona is 10k cheaper

Is this just the Euro spec that gets the 100kw or does the us spec get it as well

Any ETA for Model 3 Highland Videos?
Er det 100 kw lading på 2021 modell facelift utgaven ?
No
Hmm… my guess on which car you are sitting in: It could be BYD Seal?

Tesla Y is amazing. A 55 KWh battery that can fill 58.3kwh and still have 10% left. King of charging loss? Efficient?
It’s more than 55kWh…around 60kWh.
Hitting around 450 volts I'm wondering what the cell series number is in the Kona? The Kia Niro is 96S and is about 75 volts less.
Should be around 110s with 4,1V max cell voltage
Can you add a minute timer next charging comparison? I want to know how much it charge after 15m for example
Timer is at the Ionity screen already.
How could I missed it? Thanks watched it again.
thanks for the clarification in your last Sunday drive video. So today nobody will make a comment about reloaded energy 🤣.
Reupload :)
I am curious about the BYD seal! 26min providing 741km!

Looks like an ET5 Touring 😍
