@@guitarnotions Yes Atkin was good.
I was thinking that a guitar with a personal sound hole, like the Eastman, would suffer more bleed into a vocal mic when recording. It seems logical anyway.
I am not sure. It does sound nice at times. But having a cap to mute it would be a nice edition. 😀
@@guitarnotions Thanks for replying. Yes, a way to cover that sound hole if so desired.
What's the price of the gs mini?
I did not get a price but I saw them in other places on line for around $800. ❤️
I checked price at Sweetwater and it's $899
@@timmcelyea8467thanks a bunch❤ loved those mini’s.
Those Eastman Guitars, Dana Bourgeois voices the tops and the rest is made in China. Great looking and sounding guitars though.
Wow I did not know that… so interesting! That explains the great sound. I heard most of the sound (not all just most) comes from the top❤️
@guitarnotions yes that's for sure. It's a value guitar. Bang for the buck. Lotta people I know are skeptical but from looking at the build quality, it looks great. 👌I'm not sure if Dana voices all the guitars for Eastman but he does the E10 and 20 D models.
All guitars in that shop are pre war guitars (WW3)
Let’s hope not… but someday after we are all long gone they will be sought after vintage guitars with a story to tell ❤️
@@guitarnotions Yes, guitars have stories to tell...
Well, WW3 is going on; they are trying hard to escalate. It´s about ressources and especially the Petrodollar, which enables the ongoing print of money...
Thank you for letting those beautiful guitars speak out (I love the black Atkins in your other video; strangely maple seems to be my songwriter choice).
@@lebe220 that was my first experience playing Atkins. They are wonderful instruments. I especially loved that 12 fret. Came close to taking it home❤️
I just sold a ll16 ..they are beautiful..but it was almost too bright sounding to my ears..and heavy..
Thanks for sharing 😄
How did you like the sound port on the Eastman?
I thought it sounded great. I think it helps hear what you are playing especially when playing with others. Just a thought, it would be nice if there was a way to Cover the sound port for times you may not want to hear it. Thanks❤️
@@guitarnotionswould a modified soundhole-cover work ...
or something like that can be printed 3-D?
@@guitarnotionsI think otherwise it is a big collector of dust inside the body 🤔
@@rik_mr.aap866 lol. Guess you will need a guitar vacuum 🤣❤️
@@rik_mr.aap866 great idea
I wonder why today there are f.i. minis, juniors and female versions of guitars ...
What is the difference with the ¾ or the ⅞
I think there are nowadays more custom made models then the 'oldfashion' standard measures?
They are fitting the preference of a diverse population- I think guitars are no longer “one size fits all”. I love the variety it sure makes it more interesting ❤️
@@guitarnotions absolutely true ... let's call it *The Evolution of Strings* 🤣
or even better: Stringvolution 😂😂
@@guitarnotionsand to be honest ... a 'travel-guitar' is more appealing for everyone
than a ¾ ... that was 'only' supposed to be for young players ...
