Beautiful video; and very well-positioned camera, BTW. Great little sanctuary you've got set up for them. While I'm not an expert, these look like ruby-throated (emerald green) and rufous (copper) hummingbirds. Such compelling little creatures!
I love and admire hummingbirds. They are so eager to live life and always persevere. During a freeze coldspell in Arizona, I took the feeders in at night and brought them out early in the morning. I counted one hummer taking over 30 bites at one time.
wowser...great video... you are very lucky to have such an amazing gathering spot... you built it for them so that's awesome... i for sure will be taking some of your ideas for my inspiration.... Cheers
I lov your set up with the cam. How great to vid birdies relaxing, bathing and getting a drink! A perfect spa for them. The bird will most likely go somewhere and preen, after a nice dip and oil their feathers. My bird always takes a nap after a good bath. Wonder if they do too?
Thank you for sharing your wonderful video. I would guess you are in So Cal to have such pleasant weather in February. The copper colored hummers are striking!
Thanks for the share. They seem to have a preference for that smaller feeder in the back... do you mind telling us which that is (the name, where you got it from). I see a number of these bathing videos.. I might suggest placing a half of a brick (chipped long wise) or in half (depends on the bath, fountain etc) so they can land on it and not keep sliding off slipper surfaces. You want it to be under the water but they get a good grip. My birdbath is so pretty but it’s deep for hummers and on the edge they keep sliding backwards due to the bubbler. With the brick being about an inch thick they can get a grip and still splash about. A rough rock will do too. And a rock you can take course sandpaper to if more grip is needed. I find mine like the fine spray the best that they can fly through and back and forth.
How fun! Look at how cars are driving by and a whole other world is happening in your birdbath and hummingbird feeders!!💕
The hummingbirds in my yard always come right up to my face to check me out!! So beautiful!!
Oh yes! This is the life!!!❤
Wow! it's close enuff 4 me 2 jump in 2! It's fun 2 watch them, Thank you!

Great video
Ich stelle immer eine Tortenhaube auf unsere Wiese .Die Krähen Elstern und andere Vögel tauchen und schwimmen da regelrecht 😊
To make it easier for the birds to not slip on the edge of the fountain, take sandpaper and rough up the edges.
The Hummingbirds thank you!
What an amazing idea. So thoughtful!
