When I got married in 2017, I moved in with my husband & his mother. I've introduced her to the little hummers. This year, 2021, she was standing at the front screen door looking out & one flew up to her and was right in her face, looking at her. She sits by the window and I have a feeder at her window, so I told her it probably recognized her. She was so very excited. It's amazing how such a small hummer can bring such joy to a 74 yr old. 💞 I was excited to see her so happy 😊.
WOW! Thank you for sharing this very touching story about the hummer and your 74 year old mother in law. What a beautiful way to connect an older person with the beauty we have in this world. Pretty creepy to see this comment section invaded by creationists... Are you guys unable to enjoy things without bringing your personal spiritual believes? We get it
Some really interesting comments here. Just a couple of thoughts as I read them. About enjoying things without bringing in spiritual beliefs... for me, my beliefs are part of me, they are not an add on. So when I enjoy something my enjoyment flows out of my life as a Christian. The other thing is that I don't have a problem with honest comments like things appearing creepy if they are not what you expect. It's not an abusive comment. And if people want to discuss beliefs openly, honestly, respectfully as they reflect on the origins of something which both enjoy and appreciate, then that's fine by me :) After all, like the hummingbird, we're all going to die and it's important that we give serious thought to what happens after death. God Bless and thanks for watching.

Thanks. The hummingbird is extra hyperactive and so I looked for music that would reflect that, as well as the delicate nature of the bird being so small.
So pleased you enjoyed. Watching the slow motion hummingbirds myself had that kind of effect on me. Slowing down that power and beauty so that you could actually see what was happening gave such incredible insights and appreciation of this beautiful little creature that many simply call the hummer.
It's great we can use slow motion to show the hummingbirds grace and dexterity. They seem to have special powers they way they start and stop and maneuver through the air.

@@NaturesInvitation what is the name of this beautiful music? I really like this kind of music, it remminds me te Interstellar soundtrack. I'd like to build some videos of Scientific divulgation because I believe in the power that remain on these videos to bring people to know the nature and all its beauty and, consequently, the importance of its preservation. Here in Brazil we are in the worst moment for nature, because the atual government is destroying all the environment. We are losing 19 hectares hectares (~37 oficial footbal camps) of Amazonia forest per hour! The biggest and one of two most rich forest being devasted incessantly, 24h per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. I've read so many amazing stories in the comments section on this channel. Sadly, there are no hummingbirds in New Zealand where I live. Maybe one day I'll travel and get to see the hummingbird in real life. What about you?
When I had my cottage we had two families of hummingbirds so I had to have two feeders. It was wonderful especially when they brought the young ones to the feeders. They weren't afraid of us. I kept track of their arrival every year and it was alway May 11. I no longer have the cottage and I miss my hummers! Thank you so much for this amazing video! It is a keeper.

The hummingbird gets that a lot :) It holds so many world records for things like it's wing flap, heartbeat, speed, how much it can eat.... boy can it eat!
Stunning video and images! One fact not mentioned -- Hummingbirds migrate thousands of miles without food or rest. That's amazing! Thank you for this beautiful video.
you're right. I think I put this in the other video on hummingbirds. It has the humming sounds which are amazing. And there are a whole lot more facts in there too. Love this bird and appreciate your comment.
The one thing I was quite surprised about was that for such beautiful creatures that look so delicate and fragile, they can be very aggressive. Still, all the other astounding facts about hummingbirds has to make them one of the most incredible creatures on the planet.
Male Anna's would strafe my cat into bewilderment. I could sit for hours watching the full-blown aerial warfare of competing territorial claims on the feeder being carried out seemingly endlessly. I think it depends upon the number at hand. After a certain density they just give up and tolerate each other.
The music really aids in showing how strong they are and so dedicated to their mission..Like little warriors and yet so delicate and beautiful. It's hard to believe they have such a task in life in playing their roles. The endurance and struggle to make it through...the music helps to bring out the dual nature of it all. I've played it many times since and now see the little hummingbird as a real warrior. Love it. pat
What an amazing little creature... and thank you very much for sharing such fascinating video. We have our hummingbird coming to our balcony every day. Always amazed the way he flies, hovers, and drinks our nectar. Cute, pretty, beautiful and so fragile yet holds many world records I learned from your video. Even more amazing 😉

Yo that intro were you pulled the hummingbird out of the screen was actually really cool
great way to start the video eh! Hummingbirds are incredible and I searched for a very long time to find this intro. Pleased you enjoyed and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
Nature's Invitation It suits the channel’s theme, well done with your selection!
Also I love birbs, this channel is perfect for me.☺️
I just set up 2 hummingbird feeders in my backyard!
@@shikokumendes121 THANK YOU!
Magnificent video of nature.
Thank you. So pleased you enjoyed the hummingbird. It's an amazing little creature.
This music has lot of positive energy
Thanks. The hummingbird is extra hyperactive and so I looked for music that would reflect that, as well as the delicate nature of the bird being so small.
The hummingbird at 1:14 is so beautiful
Thank you. I confess my favourite footage is the slow motion in the middle of the video.
Thanks for sharing! This is breathtakingly beautiful!
So pleased you enjoyed. Watching the slow motion hummingbirds myself had that kind of effect on me. Slowing down that power and beauty so that you could actually see what was happening gave such incredible insights and appreciation of this beautiful little creature that many simply call the hummer.
What an amazing creature! Something this amazing could only come from a great mind, not by chance. 🌺
So true. The hummingbird was not an accident but a beautiful design by a beautiful mind.
so beautiful and what grace and dexterity
It's great we can use slow motion to show the hummingbirds grace and dexterity. They seem to have special powers they way they start and stop and maneuver through the air.
Incredible! So so beautiful ❤ thank you for this. It made me smile ❤
You're welcome. I leaned so much about the hummingbird making this video and then went on to make 5-6 more. You'll find them on my channel. Think you may enjoy the other hummingbirds in slow motion which is packed with a whole lot more unique facts about the hummer.
Honestly I feel like it might be kinda hard for the hummingbirds but they still somehow manage to stay alive for 3-12 years which is absolutely amazing
So true. With a metabolism that high and the need to eat so often or die in 4-5 hours, the hummingbird is living at deaths door every day.
What gorgeous and amazing photography and video!! Thank you so much!!! What a variety of gorgeous colors. I had no idea. 300+ different species. WOW!!!
I learned so much making this hummingbirds video. Hummingbirds hold so many world records. And watching them in slow motion... it's absolutely incredible. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
Omg all footages are amazing, the specimens and the quality of video.
With good facts, well selected followed by beautiful musics like Interstellar movie soundtrack.
it seems that you know me and did this video to me!
I Just hited with all my heart the subscribe button to watch all of your enchanting videos.
Thank you for you kind words. Spend more time on this hummingbird video than any other video. The is something about hummingbirds that captivated me and I wanted to do them justice. Slow motion hummingbirds are my favourite as you see not just their beauty but also their power. Thanks again. :)
@@NaturesInvitation your most dedicated time and effort in this video was rewarded by being recognized by so many people.
1.8 million views, more than triple than your second most viewed video (butterflies) which is also beautiful.
But there is something special, unique on this hummingbird bideo, and I think that you've reached the perfect harmony between scenes, soundtrack and incredible information presented.
This isn't only our loseness, but a lose to all the world, because we share the sameplanet and everything is interligated. We need help from outside!
@@WillVRam thank you so much for taking the time to give me this personal and detailed feedback. I spent more time on this video than the rest, months, looking at every detail of the presentation... took ages to find just the right kind of music that I thought would to reflect the character and nature of the hummingbird. Using software to slow down more a slow down more a video clip which was already slow motion was to me a highlight of putting this video together... along with finding the music track.
@@WillVRam"This isn't only our loseness, but a lose to all the world". You're so right. And when you put it in perspective with the football illustration (and Brazilians love their football) it demonstrates so clearly the greatness and speed of this destruction. Wishing you every success in making videos to present this concern. Videos that will get people's attention like the little hummingbird video. There's a whole lot more at stake here than the hummingbird too as you have well pointed out.
Одно из Божьих чудес.
Да, я согласен. Прекрасное творение Бога.
Thanks for sharing such Beautiful footage and amazing facts. Evidence for those whose eyes are open of the Master Designer. To God be the glory 🙏
Thank you. My hope and prayer is that God will speak to people through His creation and people will be drawn to HIM through these videos.
Wow !!!
Very stunning and smart bird.
The colours are amazing !!
The videographer did such a fantastic job here . Congratulations.
A very educational video. 💜💙💜💙💜
Thank you so much 😀 I would like to take credit for videoing the hummingbirds in this video but I didn't have the opportunity as I live in New Zealand and there are no hummingbirds here. However, this is one time when I really love what the Internet can do in bringing people close to natures wonders. So much to discover. Thank you once again for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.
5.6k likes and over 800,000 views. I am so humbled by the response this video has received. Thank you so much everyone for your support. :)
You've done a great video on hummingbirds. Thanks and thanks for including the video clips of the hummingbird in slow motion as I really love those.
WOW! What an absolutely amazing little bird. I would not have discovered so many amazing facts about the hummingbird if I hadn't watched this video. Such a little bird and yet so powerful and it's flying skills are incredible.
Thank you for your kind words. I was hoping the hummingbird would be educational as well as simply a delight to watch so appreciate your feedback. Though I'm more than a little late at replying.
Nature's beauty humming birds......
full of charm,joy.....
You're absolutely right. The hummingbird is full of charm and many people set up hummingbird feeders so for hummingbirds to come to every year. I've read so many amazing stories in the comments section on this channel. Sadly, there are no hummingbirds in New Zealand where I live. Maybe one day I'll travel and get to see the hummingbird in real life. What about you?
Wonderful creation. Hallelujah.
Thank you. The hummingbird is definitely not an accident of nature but an amazingly designed creature giving glory to it's creator.
👍👍👍👍God has created a beautiful nature
Totally agree. And the hummingbird is a show stopper.
WOW. I so much appreciated reading your hummingbird story. We don't have hummingbirds here in New Zealand where I live so it's fascinating hearing from others about their experience. Thanks so much for sharing this.
God bless the earth 🌍🌎🌏
That is a good prayer. The hummingbird and all creation are God's gift to us.
After learning more detailed facts & Watching these True Miracle of Nature, The Humming Bird! I fell Head Over Heels, even more, with My Favourite Bird, Thank U
Thank you for your kind words. Did you watch the second hummingbird video? It has a heap more facts and lots more ultra slow motion.
Awesome video the colors are off the chain beautiful .
The iridescence of the feathers on the hummingbird is mind blowing. Sheer brilliance.
I love to watch bird’s daily lives. It’s so calm and so interesting. Thank you very much for making this video.
You're very welcome. I learned so much about making hummingbirds in this video project.
My friend and I rescued a hummingbird it had a bad Wing so we took it out to a sanctuary Wildlife where they took care of it it was so sweet and gentle💗
you remind me of a coworker who is always rescuing birds
That’s incredible the way they fly and their wings move so fast and they’re so agile.
It never ceases to amazing me the agility of the hummingbird and when the put the breaks on after a dive, the g-forces are incredible.
Truly awesome sharing here ! 5 thumbs up video !
COOOOOL :)
I love watching hummingbirds.
Wish we had a hummingbird come to visit us but there are none in our country. But, I did get to make this video which was about the second best thing. Have you ever thought of doing a video of the humminbirds you see. You could do some in slow motion as smart phones today have all these special settings.
It’s so epic and realistic of birds coming out of phones.
Thanks. CGI hummingbirds.
Who knew! Gods wonders and surprises!
All things bright and beautiful, the Lord God made them all. And the hummingbird sure is a show stopper.
thank you so much sir very nice video
You're welcome. The hummingbird is such an amazing little creature and I just love that we can do slow motion to show it's true grace and power.
Wow! Hummingblur!
Very clever and so true. Those wings! That's why I love slow motion videos of hummingbirds. They show off the grace and power of these amazing creatures.
Gods creates such beauty, that baffles the mind...such beautiful creatures, I wish there were some around my area
Totally agree. Having made this hummingbird video, I have yet to see or hear a live hummingbird. T
Omg this incredible video made me cry so bad, the beauty of the hummingbird left me shocked, because throught your video i could see that the perfection exists. ;)
Thank you for your kind words. The hummingbird truly is, as you indicate, a remarkably beautiful bird. So many incredible features, skills, abilities in one small creation.
Amazing. Creation is a powerful witness to it's creator.
Beautiful video 💖😢😢
Thanks you. Do you have hummingbirds where you live. There are none here in New Zealand. I have just finished my big end of year project. The link is below. Would love to know what you think. th-cam.com/video/LDo9NsxJrnM/w-d-xo.html 🦋
Imagine a 3 week old baby just taking off and never coming back to you
Scary. These hummingbirds are so small they all look like babies. Have you see the bee hummingbird. Super small.
This has to be the most perfect creature ever created.
The hummingbird gets that a lot :) It holds so many world records for things like it's wing flap, heartbeat, speed, how much it can eat.... boy can it eat!
@@NaturesInvitation I listened to a podcast the other day and their mating ritual is unique to say the least. lol
I love hummingbirds
hummers are the best
Do you have hummingbirds living near you.
God was good to give every one of His creatures a defense mechanism or we might see fewer species than we have now.
*evolution
I agree. They are so unique and fascinating. Truly special.
Small but mighty
Male Anna's would strafe my cat into bewilderment. I could sit for hours watching the full-blown aerial warfare of competing territorial claims on the feeder being carried out seemingly endlessly. I think it depends upon the number at hand. After a certain density they just give up and tolerate each other.
Watched it a while ago. Had to watch again. Absolutely stunning!
Thank you
Man! God bless em they're cute as hell
They sure are show stoppers. The hummingbird is incredible. I especially love watching how powerful it really is in the slow motion clips.
Grand vedeo💕💕😍
Thank you. The hummingbird is a real show stopper, especially in slow motion.
One of God’s amazing creature. 🤗
Without a doubt.
absolutely stunning and so beautiful and the music was so well picked for these birds.........pat
thanks. looked for a long time before I found the music. thankful to the people who made it so I could put this all together.
Thanks Naomi for taking the time to comment and to share your own hummingbird story. There are no hummingbirds here in New Zealand where I live but the Internet has been a great source of information on this fascinating little creature.
Good information about those sweet little hummers! Love to see when they return every year! Put my nectar out in April then start watching for their return.
That's awesome. Wish we had hummingbirds here in New Zealand where I live but so cool to hear of your story.
Amazingly beautiful!
Thank you. If it were not for slow motion photography we'd never be able to see half the things we do with the hummingbird. You might enjoy this one too with all new facts and a heap more slow motion
Sorry, I forgot to add the link th-cam.com/video/h-K2trobfIs/w-d-xo.html
Im sitting up in bed during a morning thunderstorm watching this video and aesthetically this moment is everything.
That's pretty amazing. It's a very unique story. Thanks so much for sharing it. As I type this I trying to imagine your situation: raging thunderstorm vs. small hummingbird.
The slow mo is amazing, especially the ultra slo mo. Wish I had one of those cameras that does slow motion. It would take up so much of my time.
yeah, loved the ultra slow motion hummingbirds and I think I'd enjoy one of those cameras too
Watching hummingbirds in slow motion is perhaps one of the most amazing nature phenomena you can observe. So much power in such a tiny bird slowed down so that you can take it in and appreciate the grace and power of the hummer.
I love hummingbird that's really amazing
Thank you. Slow motion hummingbirds are my favourite as you can really appreciate their beauty and power of their little bodies watching their areal acrobatics.
Fast,beautiful and majestic. 😍
You're not wrong about fast. If it weren't for slow motion we wouldn't really be able to appreciate what the hummingbird can actually do as it swims through the air
Wow VERY Hypnotic , Mesmerizing , Thank you 💥💥💥💥💥✨✨✨✨✨💫💫💫💫💫🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹‼️
hummingbirds have that effect
I was mesmerized thank you for this video
me too. hummingbirds in slow motion. wow
So pleased you enjoyed it Olivia. There's times when I just need to play this video for some relax and chill time as it's so captivating, especially the slow motion hummingbirds.
I've always had a particular fascination for them. And I find it quite impressive that they live for up to 12 years, considering their fast metabolism.
Exactly my thoughts, Jose- I would have expected them to 'burn out' much sooner than that.
That's a great insight. These little hummers are so strong, beautifully created.
C'est tout simplement magnifique
Thank you. This amazing little bird sure is a show stopper. So many amazing abilities and skills.
Ah bird of joy is so beautiful! Wishing you have a great day!
Thank you for your comment and best wishes. I am having an amazing day as I watch the number of views on this hummingbird video continue t grow, way beyond anything I had thought of.
wow amazing fact of hummingbird😍😍
There are so many stunning abilities that the hummingbird has. One of my favourites is that it can fly backwards!
Fabulous video & great information!
Thanks Sherry. Researching this info on the hummingbird was an incredible experience. I basically knew nothing about this little creature that doesn't live in my country. It's been great to read other people's stories of hummingbirds in the back yard. Do they live any where near you?
Thank you so much for making this video.
As an artist, this is sooooo nice for sketching and studying.
All the love from Holland - Lineke
You're welcome. I especially like watching the hummingbird in slow motion. It helps you appreciate it's grace and power.
I totally agree ^^ 💕👍
Ok

I think nature is a very artistic subject for everyone.
HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED THIS VIDEO REACH 3 MILLION! 3,000,000. I'm blown away. 😱😱😱 Thank you so much. ❤️👍😀 Honesty, it's truly hard to believe. Just thinking about it now it's... well, emotional in a way. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And thank you for all your amazing hummingbird stories that have only added to this video where you can enjoy the power and majesty of the humming bird in ultra slow motion. That part especially I will never get tired of watching. Thank you again. ❤️👍😀
every foot in America has a humming bird visit per year.
@@billmoore6590 WOW! That's remarkable. There are zero hummingbirds in New Zealand where I live. If I ever came to the USA the one of the first things I'd want to see would be the hummingbird
Thanks to you for making me fall in love with hummingbird
You're most welcome. I'm quite captivated by these little hummers myself and am soooooo close to uploading my next hummingbird video.
That video was fantastic!
Truly the Platinum of the birds.
The hummingbird is such a captivating little creature. So different to other birds in so many amazing ways. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
When you love something, and this captions the beauty
Thank you. The beauty of the hummingbird is simply amazing and watching it in slow motion really helps to bring that out.
