- Willie, Sarah and their dog, Jack Spaniels, continue their biggest adventure yet - leaving their suburban life and moving over the sea to 'Live The Skye Life'!
In this episode, the Skyelifers really see their cottage becoming a home... and not a workspace AND home. With the removal of both of our studio spaces into the newly renovated outbuilding, we have so much more space and our cottage suddenly doesn't feel so 'tiny' any more!
They also put their relationship to the ultimate test - assembling the dreaded Ikea flat-pack furniture together and Sarah even lets Willie loose on her hair with bleach...if you're watching, sorry @BradMondo!!
Plus, join them on a sea kayaking adventure, above and below the waves and all this - right outside their cottage!

Idea for over the sofa... Sarah doing a life-sized portrait of Jack Spaniel lying down and staring out over his paws... so cute when he does that! Maybe with the loch in the background?? Or maybe a classic Jack head-tilt? Maybe with a stick in his mouth?

You've accomplished so much in such a short time, the cottage looks lovely. As for suggestions for what to put above the sofa, an antique mirror or bunch of old mirrors to reflect that gorgeous window and view? BTW, great hairdressing Willie, Sarah's balayage is brilliant!

You've done so much in a short 8 months that you've been there. I really like how you display all of those cool historical finds. It adds so much to the house. A rug or some type of weaving might be cool over your couch.

I do my own hair now after the Covid mess. I cut it and color it. I watched a couple of videos on TH-cam and actually like it better than when I had to pay so much at the hair salons

Everything looks fabulous you two! I spent half of today in a hospital emergency room, liver trouble, blood pressure scare and an infection, CAT scan and lots of tests. Now I am treating myself to you 2, Jack, and sweet music.

It’s less hot now, but we had several weeks of mid-late twenties and sunshine, which is pretty rare for northern Scotland! It’s been about 13/14 degrees all week. I think 34 is the hottest ever for Scotland 🥵

I’ve never noticed how lovely your windows in the house - lovely light, and really deep set. House is looking so inviting and homely now.
PS - airfryers! OMG I use mine all the frickin time. I wondered if it would be gimicky too, mine is multi purpose and I use it for everything! So much easier than the oven and cost efficient too. I totally agree.
Haha he did such a good job! Not sure it was the beer that helped though…😬 We absolutely love the air fryer and can already see the difference in our electricity usage, because we are hardly using the oven at all 👍

My opinion for over the sofa is either several different sizes and shaped mirrors or one larger antique mirror....reason ....makes the room larger and brings in more light❤

I think Willie could do hairdressing as a sideline! That turned out lovely Sarah! You're both very lucky to live in such a beautiful spot and have wild swimming whenever you feel able to test the cold waters. It looked like a lot of fun!

8 months! And I started watching you shortly after you bought the house. It looks great. And I get how it takes a while to make things the way you want them to be. But everyhting is coming together so nicely!
I love the sign on the bathroom door. We have an old bank brass sign found at a boot fair years ago, when we moved to France I screwed it to the wall just above the skirting board, opposite the loo. When people come out they often ask why we have an old bank sign there. I answer them " well you've just made a deposit. Sorry. Love your hair Sarah. Keep up your great vlog.

It's 45 degrees Celsius here in Arizona this week! We can't use our swimming pools the water is way too hot! No beautiful lakes or cold ocean here! We haven't had rain for months! Really cute watching Willie do ur hair!! ❤❤❤
