- ✨How I changed my life 90 days (& you can too) I changed my eating habits to healthy ones, aimed for sobriety and then gave up alcohol, lost weight as part of the process, eliminated caffienated coffee and ultra processed foods, made additions of specific supplements, decluttered my house and studio, organised everything, found new storage solutions. I've basically let my stuff go on every level; emotional baggage, sad memories, grief, as-well-as lots of physical clutter too. I have stayed the course on this quest and now feel lighter, brighter, have loads more energy and a much more uplifted outlook on life. (Which is saying alot right now with the current state of things!) My ulterior motive for posting this video is to encourage you that if I can do it, you can do it too... You are not alone on your quest to become the best version of yourself!
✨I really hope you enjoy the video! Feel free to tag me on social media with your creations, inspirations & creative spaces & let's chat in the comments too! Thank you so much for watching & keeping me company in this little corner of TH-cam. Biggest Loves, Wendy. Xxs

After menopause I became low carb, almost carnivore, eliminated grains and added an iodine supplement to my diet. The UK is designated as iodine deficient. A woman's body needs saturated fats from animal meats, butter, coconut oil to create thyroid hormones and others, I no longer eat anything with industrial seed oils (soybean, canola, etc). I am 76, totally pain free and take no medications. I was even able to wean myself 10 years ago off of thyroid medication. It's just my story. I get all my nutrition from whole food. Glad you are feeling better!!
So powerful amazing. Food is our medicine xxxxxxx thanks so much for sharing 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I was resisting change, believing vegs and fruits were the way to go. But I was getting sicker and sicker. Went VERY low carb on a hunch and after seeing the thousands of comments on carnivore videos. Meat, bacon, eggs, seafood, butter, cream, etc.
WOW! Within 3 weeks my intestines/anxiety healed. It’s amazing. Even my hair started changing color-to less gray (I was 63). I think we’ve been conditioned to believe fruits and veggies are “good” for us… but the proof is in the pudding, as it were. Anyway, to each her own… just sharing my experience.
@@ladycactus110 I am a nutritionist, the kind of diet you’re talking about can certainly make changes quickly, but long-term will be the complete opposite. we need our plants more than any other kind of food. And we need healthy fats from things like avocados and nuts. I can’t tell you how bad animal fats are for our long-term health. The carnivore diet is another fad. And in 10- 20 years it will really show in people.
The hardest thing for me with fibromyalgia is pacing. I'm an all or nothing person as well, which means that i tend to throw myself into a project, work hard on it, then physically crash and burn before being able to finish. One thing that really helped was borrowing a trick from The Fly Lady. I set a timer and let myself work for 45 minutes, then force myself to take a break (physical or mental) for 15 minutes. As you say, everyone is different, but this really made things more sustainable for me. Love your videos, Wendy. You're the highlight of my week.
oh yes, I totally hear you and agree fly lady and the timer are fantastic and such helpful tools x ps. thankyou!!! xx
Thanks for this tip about pacing. I tend to forget my fibro is a real thing and not take care of myself.
That was a perfect statement. This video was perfect for me today as I have been low mentally and today I'm trying to shake out of it. I have fibromyalgia also. Last month I rearrange my apt. Wore myself out and took a break. Now it's time to finish. I will use that 45 min timer process. Thanks for the motivation Wendy and Mardee.
I love that idea. I unfortunately will push through what I've set out to do, finish it, and then the next day or two pay dearly for it. I do think Wendy's idea of changing diet would go far for me. I have some new things going on, so I'll see where that brings me. I'm glad to hear you've found something that works for you.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 years ago now and like you Mardee I tend to do too much all at once resulting in a crash and burn episode. We tend to forget our bodies can be a bit more fragile when menopause and fibromyalgia arrive as uninvited guests. Our bodies send us messages through pain and fatigue and we definitely need to learn to listen! Thing is I found at first there was a certain feeling of guilt invading my thoughts when I rested because it was seen as a sign of weakness if I did. Rest i.e or took a break. My body or my soul were not having though, I HAD to rest otherwise I couldn't function! Was I the only one feeling guilty?
Let me add Wendy I love your vlog and I always come away with sage advice and great tips ❤ Love and Light to you and all your viewers 🌹💐🍁🍂🍃⚘
Once I started to declutter I couldn’t stop. I just want to get rid of everything now. Stuff is so heavy
My advice to others is to change and let go while you are able. At 77 its more difficult as my body works slowly. I have to say I am still a work in progress as is my home. I do some things daily toward my goal. I am on a quest to loose 20 lbs and to take better care of myself. I think woman spend a great deal of their lives caring for others and we neglect our own bodies. Great advice as always Wendy. You have the ability to help many people which is a gift. Thank you.
This is so true! Good luck x
I love this comment. I'm 62, double knee replacement which has left me like a different person. Art is my salvation. But some days.....urgh
Would love to loose some extra pounds too .... but oh how difficult this can be
You videos have inspired me. I lost both my parents this year and pretty much went into a tailspin. My eating habits went bad. I needed to go through my parents thing but just couldn't get started. I have made changes in my eating habits going more healthy. I have also started sorting out everything, my parents and my own. And I am back into drawing and painting and also my my needlework. Thank you Wendy
I am 73 yo still work full time as substance abuse counselor. Been at current employment 18 yr. Still recovering from divorce 2 yr ago. Have multiple health issues. Fibro me/cfs being primary plus ibs gerd diverticulitis 😊 I am in process organizing decluttering 2 bedroom townhouse. I am learning to pace myself at home, give myself grace and accept the process of making changes. Diet is next to change. You are an inspiration to me. Keep your light shining bright dear one! Indianapolis Indiana
You are so lovely to watch, I enjoy watching and listening to you, I am decluttering and cleaning too. It's a process ❤️
Wendy I just love your videos. I like to watch them a couple of times, I seem to miss some things. Did you ever think about writing a book? I think you would be good at it. I know I would buy a copy. I think you have found your calling. So many of us love you.
Your space looks great. I’ve adopted the “I’ll do a little something plan”. Your light is shining bright and it’s inspiring.
You're so right that you have to be mentally ready to make changes. I changed to a low carb diet in May 2022 to eat healthier food, reduce inflammation, and just feel better with my ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis. Not only do I feel better and healthier now at 64, but I lost 74 pounds which I did not really think was possible. I'm also in the process of decluttering and down-sizing my possessions as my energy allows. My ME/CFS is my biggest issue and it's been a bit of an up and down year for me. Pacing is key: taking rest breaks or days depending on how I feel. Thank you for another inspiring video. I really do look forward to them. Much love to you and James. 💜🤗🤗🤗
thanks for this comment Terry xx and wow, well done with that weight loss, amazing achievement. Big loves xxxx
Hi, I am Hélène from Québec (French), I enjoyed your videos throughout COVID and then kind of stopped watching for no reason for a while. Yesterday, I started watching again and was struck with how much you changed, your art is getting so good, love your portraits and you sound so uplifted. I liked that you share your moods, struggles and happy moments 👍
This is cconfirmation to me that I need to go in the direction I have been pulled towards...I literally have 90 days to change my life, 90 days exactly...what a syncronicity to see the title of this video!
oh wonderful serendipity! love this so much ! xx
I too like my pencils lying down instead of in cups. I just feel I see them better. I will be looking forward to seeing what storage idea you come up with. In the meantime I keep mine in pencil cases and lay them down in a plastic tray when using them. Mine are also divided into colours, warm and cool. Thanks for your videos. Suzi 🙋🏼♀️🌻🇨🇦
Music changes my mood straight away, especially if a favourite comes on❤️❤️❤️❤️
You’re absolutely right - I need a huge declutter - but I find it so hard to let go of stuff🤦♀️. PS where are your dungarees from ? Love them x
Yep I definitely need baby steps and am an all or nothing kind of person. I really reasonated with what you said ❤
Wendy, just wanted to say you look beautiful, skin glowing and lovely subtle make-up. Positively gleaming.
oh thankyou so much! what a lovely thing to say! xx beaming now!!!
I was thinking the same thing x
So inspiring! I’ve been a sugar addict my whole life and I’m 54 and my body pains every day. I’ve learned so much about mind body connection lately. I always knew mind body spirit were connected, but never knew how much our emotions can cause chronic pain in our bodies.
Oh my gosh I needed to hear this today. Decluttering my home and studio with fibromyalgia and injuries is a challenge. Your talk about the whole picture including nutrition. really inspired me. Thank you and I’m happy you feel better too ❤….
These days I'm afraid of letting anything go because they stop making good materials and it costs money to replace things -- products are cheaper, poor quality, and some you just can't find anymore. So I keep it all!
You are a lifting breath of fresh air ❣️. So glad I found you, just happened to see the thumbnail of you looking at the cottage in a field, and stayed! Best wishes from Pennsylvania, USA ❣️❣️❣️
Hi Wendy … I was just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia too, I have Osteoporosis and degeneration of my bones … I’m doing my version of working out and walking on treadmill for 15 mins at least daily… I have the hardest time sleeping pain really bothers me .. I think I need to cut some things too from my diet, financially I can’t be purchasing to much … procrastination is a big thing with me … I’m no longer in menopause long ago on my early 50s … I’m 59 now … I’m sorry I typed to much … need help ❤❤❤ I find your videos so relaxing Wendy thank you .. trying to find a little corner in my unfinished basement for myself, because I try to help everyone and 4 myself it’s difficult to find me time … I won’t give up … I adore your studio, your so talented ❤❤❤
I love a good Declutter, it always makes me feel so much lighter and fresher in mind and space. Also what we eat is so so important. I am a nutritionist and I can’t tell you how important our diet is. Our gut really is our second brain so it really helps our mental health, our physical health. Most illnesses could be cured if we ate really well. We need lots of plants and healthy fats in our diet , less meat and dairy. And less processed foods. This is a great video as all yours are. You look really well and bright in this video too.
Hello, Wendy. Your studio is lovely and you've really made it your own. Most art studios on TH-cam are rather ugly and utilitarian in style, but yours is charming, cosy, and creative! I do think we artist ladies do love moving our art materials around and reorganising quite a lot! :)
I can’t tell you HOW GOOD this VLOG is Wendy! You are so inspiring and I know you are so understanding too! I really love your channel since finding you just a little while ago. I’ve liked and subscribed (obviously) and I’ve found you on ALL the other platforms and done the same there! Apologies, I’m fan-girling a bit 😂
1) I am an artist at heart but at the moment I’m not very good. So when i I try and it looks crap I tend to give up even though I know I NEED to just make MORE!
2) my house (I rent) is SO CLUTTERED with stuff from 3 family members who have pasted away PLUS things my 4, now adult, children have left (although all the wonderful art supplies bought my daughter come back to me, so that’s a bonus!) PLUS my brother “gave me” All his stuff he didn’t want, as did one of my sons with furniture. It’s all rather overwhelming really.
I am slowly getting there but have 2 rooms FULL of boxes. I think it’s been too daunting because a lot of it is from my mum, dad and sister who aren’t here anymore. It’s really emotional.
Also, I don’t have a partner so I really resonate with a video you published here about Feeling lonely (I think it was from 2022, lol). I left my abusive marriage almost 22 years ago, had one relationship for about 7 years but it turned out he’s way abusive too, just differently. I had a car accident and could no longer do lots of stuff so he left (which was a good thing in the long run). Anyway, it feels safer and fairer just to be on my own.
My eldest son, who has ADHD, came to live with me after being in the Melbourne lockdown (2 years of having to stay home has really messed up his mental health). So I do have someone but he procrastinates worse than I do 😂
Anyway, I wanted to say WELL DONE on the amazing personal progress you have made! You are so inspiring. You’restudo I’d looking FABULOUS and it sounds live you are feeling lots better mentally, physically etc too .
I gave up most sugar about 6 months ago, the big one was not having it in my coffee in the morning. So now I’ve got it down to 1 or 2 biscuits a day. I’ve also given up refined carbs. I also try to only eat fresh food, not processed.”, although on high pain days that can be hard. So I’ve changed my diet a lot but still have some way to go. The nightshade veggies is something I’ve heard about but after listening to you I think I’ll go deeper in to that. I did know about tomatoes and try and avoid them as much as possible.
Anyway, thank you so much for being you and for sharing your light, laughter, wisdom, life and love with all of us!
This video came at a magic moment for me. Ive been struggling with health issues for ages, and recently struggling to keep my light shining bright. While watching this, I opened my art journal for the first time in a month, and started writing and drawing, new things and new thoughts. I need to get my body healthier and with more energy to do a declutter and reorganisation in my space, but you've essentially jump-started my brain. Thank you for sparking such positivity! All things are possible when we take small steps in the right direction.
Congratulations to you for your efforts, and wishing you continued health and success. Your studio looks so much more open (more room for fairies to dance?) and relaxed. May you have much inspiration and find it an easy and comfortable space. Love and light always and gentle, thankful hugs 🤗🧡❤️💜✨✨✨
I love the idea of the dressing-up box. I frequently dance at home and it is always wonderful to feel beautiful while one is dancing! I think I need to make me one. Thank you!
I like to use wooden silverware trays that I find at thrift stores or goodwill for pens and pencils. They are visible and it's easier to find what I want.
I find it helpful to declutterbefore the seasons change, especiaaly the fall before the cold weather forces me to stay inside among my "things". I can usually let a handful of things go to charity with each declutter. Its inspiration to redecorate, dust and organize for the incoming season.
I'm 18 seconds in, read the first line of the video description, and can already tell this is everything I need right now!
I am dealing with a decluttering and organization situation with my home-studio and a space for my homeschooling kids. It is a challenge. Thanks for the inspiration Wendy 🌠💕
oh you can do it!!! xxxx
I'll be 71 soon and I LOVE your videos...Before I watch them, I get myself a cup of tea, get comfortable, and enjoy them! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Your studio looks so much better with less clutter and by moving the plants. I have slowly been decluttering my space, organising art materials
and letting go of stuff I no longer need. Such a good feeling. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
Oh, my goodness, you are my spirit animal! I can't believe that I have only just discovered your channel. Your style of vlogging is just beautiful and inspiring and interesting. It resonates with me. You're so relatable, too. I just started a TH-cam channel, and I desire to connect and share in the way that you do. It feels so natural.
Your art journal painting was memorizing to watch unfold and absolutely stunning. I have never done an art journal before, but I am not talented in art. It was fascinating to see yours.
Thank you for your beautiful content here on TH-cam. I look forward to watching your past content and future content.
After my move, I thought I was on a good path to getting a working studio, then some major health problems showed up, two long hospitalizations and at home nurse visits! Now there is a problem with a storage area no longer available and putting the burdens on my daughter to haul the stuff and bring it into my new space! So again your process gives me hope for so many areas that felt totally overwhelming! As always your wonderfully creative and achievement oriented progress is lighting up my life!
Energy Focus & Discipline
That's exactly what I need. Im where you where at the beginning of your 90 days and I'm looking for change.🌺
I have really been enjoying this self care/ self improvement videos recently. They are very inspiring.
I've always been a person who works to better myself. And have done a LOT of work over the past 3 years.
I have ME, Fibromyalgia and IBS. I'm also autistic and have ADHD. And going through the menopause! Happy days lol! I want to change my eating and caffeine, but it's tricky. Change is very hard in this area for me. I tend to rely on the odd sugary drink to give me energy to do stuff. And a lot of healthy foods like salads don't agree with my body. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.
It doesn't help that hubby doesn't want to get rid of the biscuits, fizzy diet drinks. Some things if they weren't in the house I'd be OK with.
Maybe one day I'll figure out how to do it. There's that fear of changing and being even more exhausted than I already am. We'll see...
Your videos are so inspiring❤ Thank you so much for sharing your journey💞
i really appreciate your care and attention in this video. I feel like I'm at the beginning of these types of changes. Menopause being the driving force to make them also. I have been making small changes and it's quite hard to see the differences they make when you're in the thick of it, but I hold fast and trust that it will all work out.
Also some of the other comments here are really helpful. Thank you for inspiring and shining your light.
Thank you for the encouraging words about change and inspiration. The blond lady in your journal sketch looked like Princess Diana….or maybe it’s just me. 😊
Love and hugs to all who read this. ❤
Dear Wendy,i want to clean up cupboards and rooms these days too...i am really looking forward to that, especially after watching you🤭. Thank you for another wonderful video💕🌻
Loving your new space ❤
Thank you for sharing your process. I needed this video so much. I have to much stuff in my creative space that I'm having a hard time creating. Thank you so much Wendy ❤
I loved the beginning sketch of the woman behind tree branches on the yellow background. That image inspired me to do something similar.I've been uninspired for 3 wks since coming home from rehab and continuing to recover from my broken leg.Im just starting to use my leg again and my inspiration is coming back. While I was stuck in bed a day, I created a lot of very good drawings and paintings in a sketchbook on paper that wasn't great quality, but the work wad good.Your videos always teach me something and give me hope. Thanks so much!❤
Thank you Wendy 💓
I love how open and honest you are in your journey. Thank you for your book recommendation as well. As a chronic pain survivor myself, and a mom of 3 and full time Art student, I have tons of ups and downs so watching videos like yours brings me light and hope. Thank you gracefully from phoenix Arizona ❤
awww, ups and downs yes, I feel you xxx you totes got this xxxx
I understand what you mean about needing your pencils laid out flat. I bought all my different types of pencils open stock so I never had the tins and trays to start with. I tried mine in pots. A green pot, a red pot, etc but it just annoyed me and I'd end up laying my pencils out on my table. Recently I looked at those zip up cases but they looked big and bulky and just didn't appeal to me. So I bought 3 fabric pencil rolls instead. One for my pastel/charcoal pencils , one for my Inktense pencils and one for my Albrecht Durer's. I love them. Everything is staying in order and if I want I can roll them up and take them out sketching with me. I also like that they have a little flap that protects the points and they come in all different patterns of fabric. My Albrecht Durer's cover has waves on it. The Inktense has bright colored fish and my pastels/charcoal pencils have elephants. I could have had dogs, cats, leaves or lots of other patterns. The wraps come in 4 sizes 24, 36, 48 and 72.
Well done ! I found this very inspiring 😊 Thank you for sharing your decluttering journey 🤗 Greetings and best wishes from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤🥰
Thank you Wendy 🙏 a delightful video. Great to see you so chipper. The studio looks fantastic, well worth all the hard work.
You addressed all the issues I have going on right now. Got up at 4:30 a.m. thinking how can i give me a peace of mind. Small steps instead of trying to do it all at once.
Good Sunday morning sweet friend. I’ve enjoyed watching you this morning.
I can see the wonderful changes in your mental and physical body and it’s so motivating.
In listening to you today, I have realized I’ve crept back to bad habits since my mothers passing and although I’ve put on almost 5lbs I know I have to get back to that healthy eating again. My problem is carbs and sweet tooth which is not good for me especially since I suffer from fibromyalgia and know my inflammation is high. You’ve given me the courage to to check myself and to get back on track.
I’ve felt so discombobulated and my emotional state is up and down. Talking to my therapist about parental relationships, and other things are helping. I’ve begun to write about all these feeling…. I know part of my issue is grieving , anger and sadness but I’m working through it.
Coping is ok and it will get better. Working in my courtyard and getting sun and fresh air has helped but I’ve not been been able to sit in my studio/office and I believe it’s due to all that’s in my head atm.
Your studio is looking amazing and your storage items have given me some ideas to make my space more user friendly. It needs to be revamped. Time to go check out furniture options at thrift and consignment shops.
I’m going to rewatch this later . You are a diamond that sparkles bright and I appreciate you so much. Sending love and light from across the the pond in Northern California and a big hello to James too. ❤❤🌹🌸🌺🌷🌼🤗🍀☮️🥰☕️☕️
I have a terrible time with sugar. Definitely an all or nothing girl there. I’ve been on a terrible sugar binge for the last 6 months. Each time I say that’s enough I just haven’t been able to say no later in the day. I have both Chronic Fatigue and Adrenal Fatigue as well as inflammation, arthritis and constant pain which all together cause me lots of issues. I really enjoy your videos because it encourages me that I’m not alone in this battle of chronic health issues, clutter and the creative brain.
I too gave up alcohol to help my menopause. The hot sweats at night were so intense after alcohol I just decided no more. It's been 9 months now and my sleep is so much better, not perfect but working on it. As with you my next thing is meals - prooer meals not snacks or skipping meals, actual food to help my body recover from the menopause (and adrenal fatigue) definitely feeling better but still a way to go. Thank you for sharing your story (and all your videos).
Have a awesome day ❤x
I can see it in your face and the way you are carrying yourself - you look so much brighter.
This is what I needed to hear. Winter ended a few weeks ago here in Australia, but I still feel stuck in the seasonal blues. I’m leaving a quite toxic workplace to start a new job in 4 weeks. So I’m going to focus on myself during that time - get back to eating well and do a much needed spring clean at home, and stop wasting energy dealing with the drama at work. I’m just going to focus on being productive and preparing to handover.
Hello from Tassie 👋 I left a difficult job this time last year to do some travelling and have not looked back. Now I work three different casual jobs, usually one day a week, which means I can spend more energy on me. I've cleared out a bunch of stuff, including 20 year old paperwork, and keep some time each week for art and craft. I even enjoy doing housework and cooking more again, although my food choices need some more work I feel. Good luck with your new job and getting back to your authentic self.
@@lisamorice4701 thank you for your kind words. It’s so great to hear that you have found a new path and enjoying life! It’s funny isn’t it, how we get so focused on one way of living. But if we’re open to change, like your 3 casual jobs, life can be so much better.
an idea: I like my pens and markers lying down too. I found those clear drawers that I can pile up and have on my desk. That way I can see everything.
You really called me out on this one, Wendy. I had settled in with my cup noodle to watch your video. Oops. But you're absolutely correct. I have been feeling trash lately because I've been eating trash. I am looking forward to seeing your ergonomic filming situation. I have been feeling awkward with the top down filming as on the one hand it is great for camera angles, but not so great for proportions and I have developed a pinched nerve which has absolutely disrupted my art flow. So I'm going to take what you said to heart and work on some healthier eating habits and try to come up with a solution for tilting my art station.
Also, thank you so much for the suggestion of wild yam cream in another video. I feel better regulated since using it.
I try to do a big declutter in Spring and Autumn...its not easy! This past Spring I did a mammoth declutter. Books. Clothes. Knitting stuff ..( I paint now, jnstead). The hardest thing of all was donating 7 of my 9 teddy bears. All linked to my darling late husband. But they needed to go to children. I kept two little ones which had very special meaning. So,,I admire you Wendy for the Big decluttering! I still have too many clothes I rarely wear. So, come Spring time......I need to cut back on my cheesy Quavers...Im sure they are too salty! But,,as you say, we must have a little treat now and then. Nibbling on a carrot is not quite so tasty! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
You made me smile in this video. Two things we have in common: I do my sorting and tidying in the Autumn (my favourite season), and I chop salad greens up with scissors so it's easier to eat more. 😀
A very inspiring video, thanks Wendy 🥰 the studio is looking fabulous ❤
This was a marvelous trip into your happiness. ❤
I have been accumulating markers over the past couple of years working at Michaels, trying out the differences between the different kinds. I'm a painter but I like daily sketching, too. I was always a Flair Pen girl since high school when I would sit with my friend, Cindy, in the hallway doodling notebooks of paisley designs and flowers. It wasn't until recently did I read the instructions on my Zig Markers to store them horizontally. No wonder my markers all dried out in between my perods of using them! I had all the markers on a shelf in coffee mugs. With my new acquisitions, it was getting cumbersome. Since the start of the pandemic, I was getting take-out every other week to support local family businesses and I've accumulated a few stacks of plastic take-out tray-type containers. One day eating take-out, I looked at the container and I thought, would my Zigs fit in here? They fit perfectly! So, I gathered all my containers and markers and parsed them into their respective trays, labeled the side writing on a piece of artist's tape, and stacked one tray on top of another ( without the covers) and now they all sit in a stack on the end of the shelf leaving the rest of the shelf free for something else. Plus, no more weighty mugs taking up space. It feels and looks lighter to me.
I also decluttered the closet in my studio space and found the bottom half that I had cut from a quart milk container. It inspired me to start collecting those to organize my drafting table pens, pencils, rulers, and tools replacing the overstuffed tray. I may also organize my oil, watercolor and acrylic brushes, too. If there is fear of these being too light and tipping over, you can always drop or glue drapery weights into or onto the bottom of the containers. I used to make draperies so I have a bunch of those!
Thank you, Wendy, for another great share. Continued success in your health! ❤❤❤
One word for this vlog is fascinating and I am going to give this a go for my depression and feeling overwhelmed. Thank you so much for sharing!
I'm glad it's going well for you Wendy 😊❤ beautiful painting of the yellow lady in the journal 😮
Gosh Wendy, the arrival of your 90 Day Life Change process was perfectly timed. I've been on a de-cluttering journey for some quite a while. My wardrobe has always been a tough category because so much of my identity was wrapped up in it. I have let go of so much the past month due to completely shifting out of old identity. I'm not quite into my new self yet but she is showing up more and more. I am strolling towards retirement where I'll finally have the time to step back into my 'makers toolboxes' and begin creating again. Thank you for a lovely video.
It would be nice to create a sliding tray fitted to the underside of the desk to arrange your pens flat in. Then you can pull it out to work, push in to get to the day bed, and to put away whilst you dance, or for the night when you leave X love your talks, they make me feel calm and happy x thank you ❤
Wendy, Congratulations your studio looks stunning truly organised and mindful. Thank you for sharing your experience, l appreciate listening to your words of wisdom, it’s hard living in this mad world. I am going through a lot and need my creative space to relax and release, the decluttering continues. Much gratitude to you and James. 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴
Omg I feel the same about eating savoury snacks! I find it extremely hard to shop around, they are everywhere 😅.
I do love autumn 🍂 deep cleaning. I ve got two more cupboards to organise.
Have a lovely fall time 🍄🟫
I realized that I didn't need a lot of the things I've collected, when I was in hospital and rehab for 6 wks.I only missed my markers, pencils, drawing pad.So now I'm very ready to let go of extra.I love clothes and fabric and that is difficult to let go of.It would be great if I could.hire you to help me.I usually feel like cleaning in the autumn too.Best wishes to you in your nice clean studio and that your health will improve.❤
You have inspired me to reorganize my studio.
Dear sweet Wendy congratulations on all you’ve achieved,! Your studio looks great. Never thought I’d meet someone who changes their surroundings as much as me?? I like an autumn spring clean too…..seems like you have it all sussed out but don’t beat yourself up on the off days. I’ve taken to making vegetable soups which are so delicious and healthy and comforting with the many variations of veg , stock, herbs and spices and can be made in a batch.I enjoy the medative experience of choosing and chopping. Love also those dresses which I’d wear as are beautiful…..hope this all inspires your work! X
What an absolute Angel of Joy you are! Bless you for putting your feelings out there for us to see. It is not easy, but so much what we need now. How brilliant you are at showing us what real self care is. The more I think back on all the important pieces of this video, the more I feel you are divinely inspired. Namaste
You've given me the motivation to go back drinking butterfly pea tea again. I've not had it in 3 years but i dont know why i stopped drinking it, it gave me the boost i needed and it also changed my mental wellbeing to a positive too. Now we getting to the darker months i'll start drinking again as i do suffer from SAD it'll help that too. i have lots of juggles right now so i need to have a good detox/declutter of things i no longer need too . Thank you again dear Wendy you really are a shining star :)
Great video, Wendy. Please tell James hello. I hope to finish up on my decluttering real soon. But I have to find a place for some stuff that a dear friend sent to me. A huge box . So I do need to find some room. Have a fabulous week. Keep shining bright. Sending love and big hugs Sherry ❤❤❤
will do Sherry xxxxx that sounds like special stuff deserving of a home xxxx big loves
Deer Wendy, so many good ideas and encouragement, exactly what I need right now! Your studio looks so much cosier after changing the place for the plants. Thank you for another inspiring video ❤
oh good timing then xxx thankyou too for keeping me company x
Surely it’s the old adage, everything in moderation ❤️
I had a no good yucky day today and this video was just what I needed. ❤❤I moved some furniture around that I didn't even realize wasn't in the best places and I just feel so much better. 😊I also have let go of a bunch of organizing solutions I thiught I needed and simplified. 😊sighhhhhh so much better❤
No your not alone, I am trying to declutter my studio as well, it helps to see you do yours thanks❤
Wow your studio space looks so lovely and inviting. You must feel so inspired every time you walk in there!! Your videos are always so encouraging, honest, engaging and joyful!! Thank you so much Wendy, you really are a bright light that shines for us all. Blessings to you XXXX
You are such an inspiration. I am at the point where I need to change some things. Thank you for breaking down your process. I can't do it all at once, it's all baby steps for me. I've been paralyzed on where to start, but I realize that I can start by changing out some unhealthy snacks for healthier options. I've been decluttering for awhile now and it does feel so good. If I bring something new in, I take something out. Thanks so much!
I love your new set up Wendy. Looks Fantastic! Best Wishes for Happy Painting. Sincerely Kassandra
When I started my health journey many years ago my naturopath explained to me that everything starts in the gut. When our gut biome is off the rest of our body has to compensate and that in turn makes those areas weak and sick. Wendy, I'm so proud of you for working so hard to make the necessary changes in your life so that you can be the best You that you can be. So sending you big hugs and keep on persevering thru it all. Plz bring back the pink wig. I just love it on you!
We might be living parallel lives 😄 I have got to get away from the snacks eating the whole bag of chips or snack instead of eating meals that are healthy and being more aware of what I ingest I too have fibro, literally I'm redoing my craft room and it has gotten so unorganized I always feel like less clutter the more your mind can be creative, working on my house as well getting rid of things but everything you touched on rings home for me I'm going through all of the same things it's hard to let go , thank you so much for sharing your journey and how it's helped you and how it can shine a light on what might help others 🩵
Wendy, thank you so much for the videos you share. Whenever I watch them, I can completely relate. You're definitely a kindred spirit. I have been struggling with bouts of depression and anxiety since my early 20s, and have always struggled to remain positive enough to bring about positive action in my life. I'm professionally a graphic designer, but at heart and in my spare time, I am an artist and Illustrator. I'm in my 40s now, and still dream of doing my own thing, with my art. I've been trying much harder the past couple of months to get things on track, setting up a few online outlets and beginning to get back into my art and crafts. I'm terrible though, I get a few roadhumps in my plans and I start feeling the negativity creeping in and doubting myself so much, I've often just given up before but I'm trying to hold on this time and fight the negativity. I've not been well today, and had to have a sick day. I feel that sometime when the negativity starts getting the better of me I'm easily run down physically and I've been feeling so rubbish the last few days due to various complications with my new plans. I've been looking for things to help me feel more positive all day so this was just the video I needed to watch. I feel so much better knowing I'm not alone in theses sorts of struggles and you are proof that it is possible to conquer these glitches and thrive ✨️❤❤
Dear Wendy, i can watch your videos all day. It' brings me comfort and wisdom. I feel close to you as if you're my relative. Thank you for all that you put out here for us.❤
I am in this stage of my life at the min, I felt every room in my house was closing in on me, it is hard at first, but once you start, it's a great feeling when you see less clutter, good luck on your process ❤❤❤❤
Exactly what I needed today...inspired to make some decluttering, organizing in the studio and in the body. Thanks
oh yes, you can do it! feels soooo good xxx
Ive got a “fantasy/play” area in my classroom for students (they love it) I NEVER thought of the concept of dressing up for myself; to put us in the mood “fantasy” play like, to inspire, create, or for identity… great point! 💕
You are definitely a bright shiny sweet inspiration!💖
I love the idea of a dressing up box , i had one when i was a little girl, i think I'll try it again 😊 ❤
Thank you so much for your encouraging words.
Wendy you are doing all of the things I think about on a daily basis. I’m really good at organizing in my brain but not actually making things happen. I have been slowly decluttering. I have also been making an effort on eliminating my alcohol intake, ie my wine which was everything for me in the evenings to sit with a glass or two but I have been seeing more and more lately, information on how much damage it can do, so I have started that process since February. I have also been trying to reduce caffeine intake and found green tea to be a lovely replacement. I sometimes add lemon and a touch of honey and/or a slice of ginger. I have also started drinking water with lemon. My biggest challenge is definitely my proper food intake. I seem to know all about what’s good for me however haven’t conquered the challenge of making it happen. I am overweight and maybe if I spend more time decluttering and less eating bad stuff I might feel a lot better! 🤣 Thank you for showing us change can really happen if you put your mind to it once you are ready. I appreciate your sharing with us and as always I look forward to you next video……Lisa 🤗🙏💓
Working on getting back to thriving myself right now. It's a process. Thanks for showing your process, I am inspired with some new thoughts today and you helped me think through some things I needed to get clarity on. xo
Thank you for all our inspiration! 🙏 Very intresting too follow your journey 😍🤗🍂🍁
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, thank you for creating and sharing it! I love the idea of a ‘dressing-up box’ and being playful! I too struggle with terrible pain neck/upper back. I absolutely love your space and your playful inspiring Spirit! 🧚🏼♂️💃🦄🦋
Well done Wendy! I admire your openness to change and growth. You inspire me to be more conscientious about my self care.
I'm so pleased for you Wendy, thank you for the inspiration and for sharing. Sending love
Just what I needed. I've been trying to come out of a funk, thinking about changes. I like the way you put it - letting go (vs. trying harder, doing more) Thank you.
This was a very impactful video!!! Thank you...re coffee, I have drunk it literally all my life, but truth be told I don't think I enjoy the taste nor the way my mouth "feels" afterwards... Same with alcohol ...
Thank you for sharing, Wendy. I can relate to so many of the things you mentioned. It is encouraging to think of a slow and gentle pace for real change -- I can do that!
Hi Wendy, I really resonated with your video. I have just started my journey. I have been decluttering at home for about 18 months now and I’ve gotten to the hard rooms (kitchen, wardrobes, craft room) so I have come to a complete standstill, even though I know I will feel so much lighter when the stuff I no longer need is gone. Now I am starting to feel stronger and have been adding things to my diet that benefit me, like macca powder, daily greens powder and marine collagen. I too, was just snacking and not on good food and have started having a nutritious dinner at lunch time as I know I often don’t feel like cooking if I have been at work. Then I just have a snack in the evening of some yoghurt and fruit or nuts, etc. I still have other changes to make to my diet like adding a few more supplements but since I started with these changes, within the week I stopped having that 3pm slump. I have also been processing emotional blocks and past issues I have repressed that I’m now ready to process. I feel so much lighter. 😊 My husband says that I look so much happier and I am much more pleasurable company. 😂 Life feels do-able again. And I am finally ready to finish my home declutter! ❤ Thanks for your great videos.
Oh boy, I need to make changes especially towards my health by eating healthier and cutting out the snacks. I've never been a big drinker of any kind of alcohol so I rarely have a drink and I gradually weened myself off of coffee due to how it affected me during menopause as well by going from full caffeinated, to half calf, to decarf, which is what I drink now on occasion when I feel like having a cup in the morning.
. It was nice to see even that short clip of you sorting your books. Encouraging really! I picked a shelf and began sorting thinking I need to actually look at the books off the shelf.( I dont think any of us would mind those videos of deeper boring sorting as it gives us an opportunity to sort with you.) Winter is so nice to cuddle in and work on projects and summer is so nice to be outdoors. So fall and spring the house needs a good air out , deep clean and reset /declutter for the next season. Oddly it always seems just before the fall winter holidays I decide to switch to healthier eating and miss out on the treats of the season which of course is healthier physically but harder mentally. Also your point on sorting your space for how you work not how you want it to look made so much sense to me. I'm having a rough day physically but feel motivated for the next trip into the studio to carry some of these ideas into there.
Lovely to see you doing so well, dear Wendy. The studio looks amazing - “a place for everything, and everything in its place”, and I’m so glad to hear that your other lifestyle changes have helped so much. You look wonderful, and sound really happy, which makes me happy! I’m needing to make some changes, too - we are on the tail-end of a flu which has lasted two weeks and is just not going away! It’s made me realise I need to build up my immune system somehow! And I am caught between two completely different sort of ‘identities’ at the moment; I need to streamline my wardrobe, but don’t know what to keep and what to let go of.. I might go back and watch your wardrobe declutter again! Much love to you and James, thank you for YOUR beautiful light that you keep shining bright, you make the world a better place 🥰🥰 love from Australia xx
