Have you not been around drunken people before? heard lots of lines from drunk friends, look up different drunk friends or stages on YT you should get a good laugh at least
A lot of the "least likely" candidates for marriage tends to have some of the most wholesome dialog. The drunkard, male and female orcs... The plentiful array of humans can be pretty bland, and some are kinda mean.
The orc male lines are weirdly supportive. Now, I'm not quoting perfectly, but it's like: "How are the kids doing in this hellhole of corruption, death, and more influence from some of the worst Daedric Princes than you can shake a stick at that we call Markarth?" "Place isn't safe. THIS IS GOOD. PERFECT FOR RAISING WORRIORS." "Place is safe. THIS IS GOOD. PERFECT EVEN THOUGH IT'S A WEIRD ASS HOUSE BECAUSE IT'S YOUR HOUSE. OK, HAVE SOME MONEY, SEE YOU LATER, CONQURE YOUR ENIMIES, LOVE."
Create a huge house in the wilderness. Completely equip it, get the latest amenities, including more shrines than the temple of the seven, surprise Aela and... - Honestly, what were you thinking! You can't finish the argument because you have to go kill the giant that just slaughtered your cow... And then those bandits... And the darn horkers... And then, finally, go back and tell her she is overreacting.
Cosnach was the first person I ever married in Skyrim, and it happened like so many romances do: There I was, sitting at the tavern in Markarth drinking away my sorrows after finding out I can't marry Brynjolf. I consider his unmarry-ability to be him turning me down. I meet a nice guy who, after a few pints, ain't so bad looking. I talk to him and he asks if I'm single (apparently I gave him a drink once and completely forgot) So I said you know what? I'm heartbroken and drunk so fuck it. I agreed to marry him and we got hitched. After the wedding he asked where we should live and said I could always stay with him, and I was curious what his house looked like so I agreed. I showed up to his "house" and found out it was the warrens, and that he was homeless and had invited me to live with him... he literally was like "Let's be homeless together, babe." So yeah, I married a homeless drunk and was kind of stuck with him but all-in-all he wasn't a bad husband.
Lydia: I'm going to start a small store to keep me occupied while you're on the road. Also lydia: *is dragged everywhere with me because I have attachment issues* How does she ever make money when we're both in caves all the time
Honestly I really like how up front and vocal Aela is about the houses. It feels more realistic than them always being happy and having something nice to say.
If your spouse can crush dragons and eat their souls for breakfast, and they go adventuring so often you hardly know when or if you'll ever see them again...I daresay most anyone would be starstruck and docile, like a happy but lowkey scary dream cone true.
I just love the idea of Aela being an overprotective, yet caring mother. Imagine the poor guy who had to ask her if he can take her daughter out.. One false move and you're going to learn why she's so famous with the silver hand xD
Or if a girl tries to take advantage of her son. 😂 She'd probably challenge potential suitors of both genders to fist fights to test their worth. Then she'd secretly hunt them and be like "Oh, they got mauled by a wolf? That's too bad, but if they can't even travel the roads on their own how could you have a future with them? Better luck next time, dear one."
Still baffles me why we (on unmodded skyrim ofc there already a mod for it lmao) cant have children of our own... The game is already rated 18 (at least where I like... Younno, because of being able to murder and mangle their nude corpses to your heart's contempt). Wouldnt be too hard for an option to "oh love, let's start a family" have a couple of days until birth. Buy a cradle for your house, on the day of birth, take your darling to a temple of Kynareth (the closest thing to a hospital that there is lmao), have them and the priest enter a room, lock the door, a spell, restoration sounds, some screams, boom, Item, Child. Go to home, put it in the cradle. Have it become a grown child in an in-game year.
@@supercomputer0448 there is no interbreeding in the elder Scrolls. I believe the book "racial phylogeny" details how the children always take the appearance of their mother

Spiders were bad enough when the game launched but they made them even worse with new animations (the jump in your face animation which wasn't at launch) and creating even bigger spiders that are taller than you. If I was inserted in Skyrim I would probably just hide in Solitude lol.
@@shastacat9632 Not really. Back then 'Big' spiders were 'Wounded' spiders and they only appeared in certain locations like Bleak Falls Barrow. Later they introduced proper Big Spiders in Dawnguard (you can see one in that first cave you find Serana) and they also introduced a Big Spider random encounter at 20+ level. Before that there were only medium and small sized spiders with the occasional wounded sized spider in certain locations. I'm pretty sure of that because I have original Skyrim without any expansion/DLC in the PS3. I really dislike Bethesda fixed love with Spiders because there're plenty of arachnophobe people out there being one of the most common phobias. I don't understand Gaming Companies thought process of including them in the biggest sizes possible.
Solitude and Whiterun are definitely the most kid friendly cities, so Aela definitely isn’t wrong. Lakeview Manor is probably the worst place to have your kids at though, she wasn’t lying about having to fend off attacks EVERY time you step outside. She forgot the giants and bandit raids though.
Just saying, Lakeview Manor has just a few steps away from the back of the house a ritual spot where a necromancer and his/her skeletons constantly and regularly respawn. Or in other words, if we want to rationalize it beyond game logic, a fucking open-air dark rituals temple in the middle of the woods for necromancers, witches, probably hagravens and who knows who or what other shitters to regularly stop at and do god knows what fucked up shit in what's pretty much your backyard. Definitely not a very safe place to live at, lmao, beyond the already mentioned finding yourself regularly ambushed by giants and other aggressive fauna almost every single fucking time you try go back home or exit from it. I get it that it's in the middle of nowhere deep in the woods and so inevitably any hostile fauna will be attracted to your place like bears to honey, but holy shit, it just feels as if you are living in some high-crime neighborhood, in Australia/Africa, or far, far away from civilization, the amount of times your place gets assaulted by some dangerous creature or being.
This made me somewhat curious, a few of theese ppl "dont have a home" or even a room that I'm aware of. Like Janessa the dunmer, she only sits in the chair at the Drunken huntsman. So what if you marry her, dont have kids, and she says the line "move in with me", can? Would that give you acess to sleep in the Drunken? Lydia, who at best have a bed at Dragonsreach? would you then have access to that. Just puzzled about this part. I think the guy at the start if you choose him, he have a bedroll in the slum?(and you can sleep there or something).

@@adamallen8787 Living in the wilds would actually make it more convenient/safer for her, she will transform regardless due to the moon cycle right? People in Whiterun, a major city, make comments about hearing howling in the night. She wouldn't have that issue living somewhere like Lakeview Manor
@@honinakecheta601 Well do the werewolves in Skyrim have the moon cycle problem? I love living in Riften with my wife and kids. The little garden outside is cute, and the kids refer to Brynyolf as "Uncle Brynyolf"and that he tells them when they're older, he has stuff to teach them. Basically turning my future kids into thieves lol.
Aela is literally every parent who had a super rough childhood, wanting better for her children, and I am here for it. Her opening a store is wee bit out of character, though.
I'm headcanoning it as a butcher's shop, like the Bosmer brothers in Whiterun. She hunts game and sells the surplus meat. Since she's not just feeding a family but is making a living from that now, she gets to hunt even more without having to travel far for mercenary work.
IN WHITERUN: "There are so many children here, and they all love playing together." MEANWHILE, LUCIA: "Braith is a big meanie. She keeps telling Lars and me what to do."
Move the kids to Riften. Lucia is a little scared of the people, but she says Maramal lets her visit the temple whenever she wants. And with the orphanage nearby, it's as close to adopting all of them as you can get in vanilla to visit them often.
I wonder if there are good reactions to moving the family to that Vampire Castle inside a cave you can get from the "Dinner Invitation" quest. I'm sure Aela would be a fan.
Here's a thought: Kids aren't all Nord according to the game files. So here's what I'm thinking: Father's a Nord, Mother's a Nord. Kid running around the house is a Redguard.
It's a shame that the orc and argonian have no kid dialogue, and it's a shame how despite having different voice actresses, some of the dialogue is identical.
"Holy crap, this actually happened...I married the coolest but also the most dangerous person in all of Skyrim...and I officially have two kids already...I need some fresh air, stat."
Cosnach was the first man I ever married when I played Skyrim for the first time. his “I love you. you know that, right?” gave me the giggles. The way he calls the player love and dear set my heart ablase, then I met Cicero and Brynjolf
I find it kinda funny how Lydia asks if you're okay with her opening a store, in contrast to most other spouses just out right saying they're going to do so. Lydia, if it gets out out of my damn way when I'm trying to get up/down stairs, or through doors, you go open that store!
I have two mods active: A gem for friendship mod and marry any npc regardless of whether or not that npc is married AND their angry ex-spouse shows up. I'm going to marry Maramal's wife to see what happens
I like how people in the comments complain about the marriage system which (like many more different parts of the game) was made just so it'd be there. Not to be great, just to be THERE. Like, you know, mages college where you need magic only one or two times to become an Archmage with most magic-related skills below 20? Aela's got best reactions out of all of them though
Njada Stonearm is my favorite to marry since all the others are sweet and sugarcoat things she speaks her mind, and her send off when you're leaving is awesome.
On the contrary I just can't bear her, 😬 ever since she repeatedly demeans you during Companions' campaign Once, I brought her with me to Japhet's Folly (on that off-the-map mission, Rise In The East) only to get her killed ON PURPOSE by Haldyn and his Blood Horkers pirates ...she remained 'buried' - in underwear - there
Well, yeah but that's because she cares about your child. Everyone else is like "this place is fine", while she's the only only one to ask what were you thinking when you moved your family into a town populated by thieves.
God, VR is going to be so damn scary... Imagine, a full dive VR RPG(a future elder scrolls) Where you can feel everything(or not, you would be allowed to disable physical sensations or even dull them to some level depending on how much of a sadist you are -this could have military training applications-). The game would literally allow you to live another life inside VR where you could even have children, create your own kingdom(legit kingdom or criminal empire)... It will be both amazing and terrifying.

Leader of the Thieves Guild, Nightingale of Nocturnal: "So it's perfect, then!"
Cosnach was the first person I ever married in Skyrim, and it happened like so many romances do:
There I was, sitting at the tavern in Markarth drinking away my sorrows after finding out I can't marry Brynjolf. I showed up to his "house" and found out it was the warrens, and that he was homeless and had invited me to live with him... he literally was like "Let's be homeless together, babe."
So yeah, I married a homeless drunk and was kind of stuck with him but all-in-all he wasn't a bad husband.

Aela : How would you react if a werewolf run after you when you are with my daughter ?
Bf : What ?
Or if a girl tries to take advantage of her son. 😂
She'd probably challenge potential suitors of both genders to fist fights to test their worth. Then she'd secretly hunt them and be like "Oh, they got mauled by a wolf? That's too bad, but if they can't even travel the roads on their own how could you have a future with them? Better luck next time, dear one."

Buy a cradle for your house, on the day of birth, take your darling to a temple of Kynareth (the closest thing to a hospital that there is lmao), have them and the priest enter a room, lock the door, a spell, restoration sounds, some screams, boom, Item, Child. When it comes to Falkreath its not that Aela can't fend off wild bears or wolves. Its just that she is seemingly afraid of spiders....I can relate.
and the bandit hide out and necromancer shrine next door
Spiders were bad enough when the game launched but they made them even worse with new animations (the jump in your face animation which wasn't at launch) and creating even bigger spiders that are taller than you. If I was inserted in Skyrim I would probably just hide in Solitude lol.
@@requiem5151 big spiders where there the entire time
@@shastacat9632 Not really.
YUP. Except Winstad Manor is infested with even MORE giants, and frost trolls (or whatever they're called I forgor)
