Let me sing you the song of my people.... STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED
Dang. So this will probably never be read, but I’ve been going through and watching your videos for about a week or two now, and I absolutely love it. I’ve been playing SupCom since I was very little, my grandpa being a huge fan and teaching me. I’m not very good, but my buddies and I play every now and again. I never knew it had such a large fan base until I found your videos. You’re doing great work and you make my days, keep it up.
Mad props to Adjux for leaving some eye cake after the game was already over. To hell with the crappy StarCraft 2 "tradition" of ejecting as soon as you vaguely think you're done, born out of the rank system that favors quick matches to speed up the grind. And with that "not cool" he was likely referring to the gunship swat. Maybe he wanted to die to torps.
I know this is old but SupCom has an assasination win condition + a ton of super weapons while Sc2 is completely decentralized and if your army becomes significantly smaller than a competent opponent you have virtually no chance to come back
@@ethan2090 Yeah, but like many pros that make build guides you're making a terrible mistake of assuming that you'll find more than one half-competent player in 30. Either way, the tendency to gg before anything's really decided is a pretty bad habit to have, and it's heavily encouraged - better to just lose 20-ish mmr now and maybe gain 80+ in the next one rather than recognize a chance to make a comeback and spend extra effort to maybe win now.
Thank you for zooming in a bit more. It makes it so much more pleasing to watch when its not just a jumble of different coloured blobs, especially for those of us that don't play the game enough to be able to decode the minimap :)
Hey, HAL900 here, stumbled upon this while at work haha. Thanks for casting one of my games. Been forever since I played SupCom2, this makes me want to get back into it
I know its 2 years late but Ctrl + K is the key command to destroy your own units, doing this on your commander is the same as quitting the game. fairy comments are gyle getting upset at the use of the "full share" option in the game where upon commander death all units are given to another player on the same team. In the standard game mode all units owned by a player die when the commander is killed.
Great cast as always, I really wish this was the Esport RTS and not Starcraft 2, peoples obsession with Starcraft back in the day I could never understand Total Annihilation was a million times better (in my opinion). And Supreme Commander just has so much variety and complexity these players deserve to be making a good living playing this wonderful game. Thank you all and lets hope there is a bright and competitive future for Supreme Commander
One of the very few Gyle casts that I wished to end sooner. The game was decided when the Mavor went up, and the last 20 minutes were a snoozefest without any possible resistance from Team 2 whatsoever.
There really needs to be an alternative to full share that doesn't condemn the entire game. Maybe a voting system (like with phantom) that allows players to decide between full death, full share and any combination in between such as all non economy structures and units remain but all pgens, storage and mexes disappear leaving no wreckage behind. That way the player who inherits the base can rebuild but cannot benefit (immediately, at least) from the eco boost that two full bases provides. But being able to keep production going and fighting units means it isn't a complete loss of mid, navy or air and therefore the whole game. Just my two cents. Can that be implemented or is it too ambitious?
Gyle actually the Mavor has anti-matter warheads, not nuclear. Even higher yield, nuclear is like 0.1% mass of the u235 converted to energy, and the bomb is like 5-6% u235, the rest 238 IIRC. other nuclear bombs have similar yields. antimatter converts every single gram into energy. The majority of the Mavor shell is there to make sure the anti-matter comes into contact with matter at the impact and not before.
Let me correct you on a few counts: - weapons grade uranium is 85-90% U235 (when uranium is used) - the little boy used a gun type assembly which resulted in 5% fissile fuel (u235) consumption - the fat man used implosion type assembly with plutonium, and 20% of the fissile material were consumed in the explosion. Newer designs have even more efficient fissile material usage (not to mention fusion bombs) Some additions: antimatter actually converts twice it's mass into energy, since an equal amount of matter will be destroyed in the process XD
Gyle please respond how you make it when and acid blows up there stuff transfers over to there team what is that called? I only like really like to see team inherit games I’m afraid bugga
39:40 - we already have such computers for at least 10 years in our homes. It's about parallelization of computations. All projectiles in such games goes on single thread of CPU and it makes it difficult to handle thousands of units shooting in the same time in real time. Quantum computers has small area of usage, definitely not supreme commander game projectile calculations.
Love your casts man. I'm playing on a xidax laptop. The game sucks on laptop. Point blank. My rig is down for now so it'll have to suffice. Love this game and you!! Greetings and salutations from Oklahoma city
Lovely lack of Cybran and good usage of Seraphim navy, loving this cast. Wondering though if some t3 mobile sera shields could have helped even the odds a bit though with all that UEF shielding. And some extra sub hunters. :)
Man i miss RTS games like this...Its so sad we might never see what could be the next evolution of RTS gaming since this game right here is the end of RTS evolution..I wish some fans could band together & make something epic! lol I guess I gotta just fire FAF up instead..Seraphim had such a huge advantage with there ships being laser based lol U can see they keep hitting the aeon but the aeon keeps missing them bc they are projectile based!
Seton's Clutch living up to its name. Lol, jk. This match was one-sided through and through. But Hal called it at the beginning when he said "don't let me get scouted"
Meh the game went a bit shit after plodox just randomly leaves and then suj gives his eco to achieved. Easy to hold off 2 players when you have the combined eco of them both and nexus was doing the better game, had more air and managed to be 50% on a para...but plodox ctrl k for no reason gives hal the eco to rush a mavor and sacrafice a spot. Everything wrong with full share in this game which led to the team that had better teamwork and better over all play...lose. ***Edit*** Not easy to hold off 2 high rated players, But a hell of a lot easier than it should've been***
Quantum computer won't help you run games better (although I think you can use it to make them SUPER pretty looking) What you need is a graphene CPU, they're estimated to run at about 400 Terrahertz.
WHAT'S UP, TH-cam, this is in allcaps because I am so boring nobody but your inbred cousins and you will care!!!!!!!!!!! (wow, so many things that look like i upside down, EPIC!!!)
Full share - yes it's dumping all in one player. But it's not like 2 players couldn't do the same - give up navy in one pond and full focus on building game ender instead. Or make experimentals. After all the opposing side should know when one player bows out that there is the potential of this happening.
Hal9000.. extreme micro on that Mavor.. shifting targets after each shell so as not to overkill. Very nice work.
Well, to be fair, it's not like he had anything else to do while waiting for his nukes to reload, heh.
@@edisontrent618 🤣😂 very true
Let me sing you the song of my people....
STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED
STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED
STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED
STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED
STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED
Beautiful song, it touched my heart
I need a few minutes to learn the lyrics
I think it was said best in Starcraft... Nuclear Launch detected......

I read it :p
I read it too!
If you don't fight until the bitter end, you're doing it wrong!
I would say that coming back with SC2 after a major army loss is very hard. But I do agree that's just boring.
I know this is old but SupCom has an assasination win condition + a ton of super weapons while Sc2 is completely decentralized and if your army becomes significantly smaller than a competent opponent you have virtually no chance to come back

1:20:11 Just look at that number of mass killed on Mavor! 730k!!! 1st time ive seen mavor kills so much! Omg thx Gyle, it was amasing match
Hey, HAL900 here, stumbled upon this while at work haha. Thanks for casting one of my games. Been forever since I played SupCom2, this makes me want to get back into it
Yes! New Gyle cast! I wasn't planning on being productive today anyway.
This comment just made my day!
Paying attention to comments to see what was going on with the ctrl+k and "somewhere a fairy has died after a botched circumcision."
What.
I know its 2 years late but
Ctrl + K is the key command to destroy your own units, doing this on your commander is the same as quitting the game.

Heyyyy 5 years late here.
That double nuke kill was insane !
It happens to be the 50th anniversary of 2001: A space Odyssey, which I saw in cinema last night. Appropriate time to cast a game with HAL9000 :)
39:50 Nexus says in chat: mavor wont save them
ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?
One of the best casters to ever grace gaming.
Loved this game since I was 13 10 years later still playing!
All those juicy epic casts... I see someone enjoying his new rig
Suzuji really was hammered lol. That Janus, and Nexus being so happy about it hahaha
that game was over for at least 30 minutes before it ended
It was, but it was a kind of epic game of survival, and the tiny possibility of a tele SCU comeback that kept me intrigued.
Its been so long since i've been here, is so nice to watch one of your casts while eating a snack. Quality relax time.
These are so interesting to watch,HAL9000 was a beast, and Jaguar was a mad lad with those mass fabs.
Great cast as always, I really wish this was the Esport RTS and not Starcraft 2, peoples obsession with Starcraft back in the day I could never understand Total Annihilation was a million times better (in my opinion). What an awesome cast! Enjoyed it very much!
Haha brilliant cast, love your work.
Loved the nuke spam and Adjux keeping their base alive long enough for those nukes to be sent.
GYLE
SETONS
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
One of the very few Gyle casts that I wished to end sooner. The game was decided when the Mavor went up, and the last 20 minutes were a snoozefest without any possible resistance from Team 2 whatsoever.
was over the second plodox left and his entire eco was sacrificed for an easy win.
fullshare is a blasphemy as much as a blessing.
There really needs to be an alternative to full share that doesn't condemn the entire game. Maybe a voting system (like with phantom) that allows players to decide between full death, full share and any combination in between such as all non economy structures and units remain but all pgens, storage and mexes disappear leaving no wreckage behind. what to do what to do... what's this, a new Gylecast!!! :))
This esport is a lot like soccer versus hockey for supcom vs starcraft2, and your agent really helps
Hands down the most amazing game I've ever seen, tks for the cast!!
I wonder who the seraphim use to do there styling, those ships are quite sleek!
Amazing game, amazing strategies, amazing tactics, and amazing commentary!
Feather
gone, but not forgotten.
Like a feather in the wind.
RIP
Is this an updated version of total annihilation? Looks really good....

Damn, definitely lived up to the epic
We need VR support to watch this! 😍😍😍
its the supreme scoreboard MOD Gyle
btw, go to the mod vault and search for Better LOD v1, and give it a go, it increases detail when zoomed out
Gyle please respond how you make it when and acid blows up there stuff transfers over to there team what is that called? I only like really like to see team inherit games I’m afraid bugga
Well that was definitely epic.
And good for about 30 minutes.

A fitting video for EPIC number 50 ^.^

Wauw, thank you for these video's.
they are realy well done
19:50 was that a red dwarf quote I just heard?! XD
Snoogen11 well spotted sir... ;)
Top notch entertainment as always my good man. Keep it up. :)
Lovely lack of Cybran and good usage of Seraphim navy, loving this cast. Wondering though if some t3 mobile sera shields could have helped even the odds a bit though with all that UEF shielding. And some extra sub hunters. :)
WOW! Great game. Great commentary.
That looked like an awesome game!, also commentary was great :)
YES SETONS AND GYLE THE BEST COMBO
oh shit i found the supreme commander community yeeeet
This was such an entertaining game!
39:40 you mean: is there ever gonna be a game engine that utilizes more than one CPU core?
Seriously if you're gonna play with shared control just play without the assassination mode it's just silly.
And drag the game out for another 2 hours?
The mavor and nukes just dismantled them, can’t believe Adjux stuck in until the end.
only waited a week for this :D
That mavor dominated.
Mavors countering Mavors, what has this world become.
I can’t wait for them to make battlefield supreme commander!
NICE CAST

peter c good vs ships, bad at coastal fire support.
@@IRMentat tru but coastal fire support dont matter much if u can take entire navies out lol
Gyle are you planning on doing some shorter casts like 20-40 minutes ? I will have to watch this one in 3 portions in 3 different days.
2x speed ftw
Seton's Clutch living up to its name.
Lol, jk. This match was one-sided through and through. But Hal called it at the beginning when he said "don't let me get scouted"
I keep trying to zoom/unzoom the perspective when watching this in fullscreen
Same. Keep trying to hover the mouse over units to check their nuke-count or kill-count too.
30:12 now thats a naval battle right there
Great video
great cast love the setons
What are the specs of your PC?
Supreme Commander at it's finest :D
Seems like when playing front vs aeon, you've got to have some really early air to kill of those aurora's
Is this Supreme COmmander with mods or Supreme COmmander Forged Alliance
Supreme Commander Forged Alliance with mods (FAF mod).
This game was played in 2077.
Welcome to the Setons Wasteland.
Keep who's score board up?
Time to pay your respect to out lost comrade Feather
Rowey you wrote it like he is dead. But anyway, weird that they banned him. Don't like that baning action...
what happened?
he got a Perma Ban from faf
Rowey did he do something?
“Fecal brown, breast cancer awareness pink, baby pink”
Iits a shame computers these days still arnt coping with this, is a it programming/software related or hardware related?
Meh the game went a bit shit after plodox just randomly leaves and then suj gives his eco to achieved.

Everything wrong with full share in this game which led to the team that had better teamwork and better over all play...lose.
***Edit***
Not easy to hold off 2 high rated players, But a hell of a lot easier than it should've been***
I see at 39:54 - Mavor won't save them, Team 2 says cofidently....oh well, best laid plans lol
Gyle is my first name
Then yours is a life truly blessed!
Black Adder reference!
18:25 so clutch
Quantum computer won't help you run games better (although I think you can use it to make them SUPER pretty looking)
What you need is a graphene CPU, they're estimated to run at about 400 Terrahertz.
Liked for "Volvo Beige." xD
Somewhere a fairy has died from a botched circumcision - Hahahahahaa
Best moment in the game: 47:52 LULZ!
Immediately, one air player says to his team: scout air trees
and don't let me get scouted
Uh huh XD
This game is so fun to watch but so hard (my opinion) to play
WHAT'S UP, TH-cam, this is in allcaps because I am so boring nobody but your inbred cousins and you will care!!!!!!!!!!! (wow, so many things that look like i upside down, EPIC!!!)
'id have built a second mavor at some point
No cybran 😍
Full share - yes it's dumping all in one player. But it's not like 2 players couldn't do the same - give up navy in one pond and full focus on building game ender instead. Or make experimentals. After all the opposing side should know when one player bows out that there is the potential of this happening.
Of course And im certain if they timed and executed it well it would offer them a huge advantage but they don't do it because... fun
It was painful to watch team 2 throw that away
In aid of community awareness? What does that even mean? Is it for charity or something?
I think Gyle's casting started out as "promoting the FAF community" to get people playing more, he's just always kept that tagline.
This game was over win the eco was slinged to the air commander. Allowing him to finish the mavor. Gg though
Geil Cast XD
not till FaF gets multithread support
It’s prop more about the limitations of the game than computers, not optimised for the scale with modern computers running it
The video's audio volume needs to come up as a whole by 10%
No cybrans at all... how boring.
Thank god for that.
732k mass, whew
i've watched this at 1.5x so no lag for me. (:
this match is absurd
Thia game is all about who first to build T3 strategic nukes.
I think it would be interesting if a defeated player's assets become civilian
