Turbo was definetly MVP. He won middle, than helped win bottom water, than helped win top water, than nailed it with the GC + nukes. And I can barely with against a hard AI. Amazing!!!!
Yeah, he is the corner stone of team 2 right there. If he was killed, team 2 lost a major vanguard to shield them from the south navy and the land push.
I'd say a great job. You survived for a while after total navel loss and had a chance, they had no direct answer to the mavors, only a ground based assault had a chance, if it didn't get nuked....
Gotta love how Aurand’s team does everything they can to get him to safety and he just stands there like a muppet until the inevitable bomber comes by to end him. That ending was beyond epic though! Riveting stuff!
When experimental units and mega battleships were spam like WW1 infantry and Nukes and anti-nuke flying like machinegun bullet. It was so beautiful that put a tear on my eyes. :'(
Utterly epic. Game enders not game ending. Shout out to the losers for being great sports and putting up a hell of a fight. Just not sure why they didn't use more nukes in the top pond while they were still in it.
i find it incredible that even after 12 years, there is no competition in sight for SC. when it came out i was exited to see what people would come up with to try and dethrone it, but nothing came, noone even tried..... so weird.
Not to take anything away from anybody, but honestly that submarine attack was kinda my favorite play in this whole thing. Turned a stalemate into a win for the top team, and the fact that not 1 but 2 Mavors were not enough is a testament to this game's scale. Also, props to that first UEF player going out on the causeway; he was clearly up against it in this match, and he did really well playing right on the knife's edge, but top team just had a little too much coordination. Damn, I love this game, and I've never even played it!
I do love the holy trinity you see on setons. Air, sea, land. Makes for a very dynamic map. The battle lines constantly shifting, causing opportunities on both sides. Definitely a epic in this. Thanks Gyle. :)
I agree. I have actually just started watching these since last december (2019), so I have them all fairly fresh and memory, and this was by far the most epic Epic. Second place would be that one where this player also really dug himself in, and the Aeon opponent went for a couple of teleporting SCUs to erect a GC right in the back of his base in just a couple of seconds using their sacrifice upgrade. That was awesome.
Check out the older epic Seton's there are some truly unpredictable ones. This one you could kind of tell who was gonna win from the moment one team lost both oceans
After many years of watching Gyle casts, this is by far the most audience engaged game i have seen, GG both teams, win or lose this was by far the best fights.

This is by far the best Game I have ever watched. The story arc! The Epicness! The Drama!
well, if team 1 havent had turbo2 who just CARRIED the two blue players, this would have been gone a VERY different way. the skill difference from 14xx and 15xx rated players to those 18xx+ is just huge and it was shown a few times and now again. props to team 2 who are clearly winner of hearts if not game!
I don't necessarily agree to be fair. Both blues were playing alright, but most of all, they had a really good sense of collaboration with their team. Paid attention to sharing engineers, coordinating attacks... While in the mean time, all team 2 had was a cowboy who got wrecked on the causeway and blamed the strat (where really, that last T2 PD would've exterminated it him had it not decided to target a T1 tank) and spent his time thoroughly whining about how the others played, the weaker player and green + orange. Honestly, I really feel like team 1 owes victory as much to red's skill as it does to the fact they weren't asshats to each other
@@sjs9698 Its actually just a "stand in front of your pd"-thing. Its not jumping in front of a bullet to catch it. Its a thing you learn from pd fights or pd vs gun fights.
A "nuke Scathis" ;) Have I seen all now? I think team 2 should have gone for Para themselves instead of building just more Mavors. Once you got you can build as many Mavors as you like.
The last 30mins of this is SupCom at its absolute finest. What a fucking game GPG have made. The southern defence seemed nigh invulnerable, the final push was epic. The nuclear strikes with oh-so-many anti-nuke firing to counter them. I was on the edge of my seat!
36:33 It may look small, but this is the exact second in the match could have turned been won for the other team. This was the 2nd last battleship, and would HEY_BUDDY finished off the battleship and made the decision to destroy the naval factory, this would have secured victory in the north. HEY_BUDDY instead decided to fire upon the nuke launcher. These decisions are hard to make in the game, and it's interesting how games turn out.
Watching gylecast comemntary is like "I there is this awsome fight booms stick is going to destroy paragon clash of two game enders" but after 2s "I will show you how some ship is fireing in to engineer you dont need to see the fun stuff"
Watched most of your casts more than 1 time Gyle, and I can say without any doubt that this one is the number one or 2 of the epics series and in the top 3 list of all your setons casts. also have you ever thought about who should replace you when you become too old or smt :( the community must survive!
That Aurand guy was such a sore loser. You play recklessly, you die early, it happens. There's no reason to ruin your teammates' game by trying to pass on the blame and micromanaging every minute mistake they make.
You set the rally point of the factory producing them far out into the ocean like that and then once all of the ones you need are produced you quickly select them all and tell them all to fly to the same location, preferably somewhere orthogonal to the giant line of scouts you've just produced.
Wow, really Epic Game @Gyle! Perfect analysis at 50:44 Submerged tempests have very high torpedo DPS and torpedo defense so they would easy won top sea. With so many Naval Factories, green players could have over 305 T1 subs (11K DPS) for price of 5 tempests (4K DPS) and won top sea much faster.
I bought this game when it came out, i was coming from hours of playing medieval total war, so maybe i was expecting something similar, but in any way i never get to know the mechanics of the game, i ve read in a review that that econ and stealth play much more critical role than the army, is that true, i would really like someone to help me on this game, because i intend to try it again
Yea eco is basically the key to winning.. in short if you try to build with a lack of mass or energy your build time takes a hammering and if your opponent has a better eco he will over run you
The funniest thing for me was seing the confusion in team 1 when the laser only shot a sacu infront of the mavor instead of shooting the mavor because it was blocked 😂😂

thing is this game was almost certainly won by top team when south's mid died; no amount of firebase can hold vs t3 navy (in my somewhat limited exerience) and ofc once you lose mid eco, beach has to face rock eco plus their mid so beach is done... once beach falls the other pond won't be far behind as it gets quad-teamed... 's like dominos. so yeah: kudos to them for making it seem like they *might* manage to pull something back, but after losing both ponds there's almost no hope of getting any reclaim from stuff you kill, so it's a tough ask to get anything done. that said i'm amazed two mavors seemed to slow down the top team so little.

It was good game, but You cannot win with artillery. Not against pro player, because they are mostly mobile on map. Artillery is too static.
Well, it's easy to see what you could have done differently when you watch the replay and can see everything on the map. :)

PA is pretty good, just not as good as FA.
I think the reason for this is that it is a reasonably niche game, so it does not have the market share to make it profitable right now. :(

The Paragon only blows up if it's complete right? If I remember right if it dies under construction there's no nuke explosion.

We get around 100-200 people playing at a time during peak hours. Windows PC is the only platform this game runs on.
Uh, yeah, no. On faf we have 1000 people + at peak hours.
FAF runs on windows, and linux, and some people have managed to use mac as well.
Now thats what I call EPIC!!!
