Nice test. I live in Toms River. What town do you ride in?
Thank you. I mostly ride at raceway park in englishtown
Great video man. Which bike do you prefer just for straight up fun? I'm trading in my 250f for a 250 2T or a 450 just can't decide
Thank you! Honestly depends on the track. I’ll use the 450 for more fun in the sand just because It’s easier to get speed. On some good dirt, the 2 stroke is more fun
Very cool. Wish I did this with my 03 and one of my old rmz 450s
Ohhh yes that would have been sweet! I feel like etown would be a better track to do it on
The old Ellsinore red rooster
I'm 18 seconds into the 450 lap and I can tell you look considerably faster on it. I could be wrong. I have a 22 crf450 and an 06 yz250 and I'm curious to ride them back to back myself now
Yes, you’re right! I even felt faster while riding. You should do the test! I think the lap time would be closer if it wasn’t sand. The sand just eats up the horsepower
@@motoblast3574 I’ll have to do it. Just did fresh suspension, full engine rebuild w a new lectron billetron 38 and new bearings. Would be a good comparison to my 22 w full Factory connection suspension
Well I still don't get the logic behind comparing a 450 and a 250 two stroke. It's literally comparing two completely different displacements just because of an old ama rule. Literally no different than giving me a handicap in the 100 sprint and comparing me to Usain bolt.
Also a modern four stroke especially shouldn't be compared to a bigger displacement four stroke. I'm sure the ama didn't think that 250cc four strokes would one day come stock with over 50 hp.
RIDE RED
Of course!
Try a cr 500 it a beast
Now do CR250 vs 250F
Put an af 250 against it.
That would be fun. I’ve owned a few before and honestly like this steel frame cr more lol
Steel is better. Aluminum is over rated. Why do all but one European manufacturers use steel still?
Its better.
i knew i saw this track before its Genusas!!!
👍🏼👍🏼
good bikes both
HAY WEEEEEEE
😅😅
Of course 1996 cr250 two stroke... Nothing beats 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love that cr250. Rides so good
The 97 revs farther with the electronic carb. I had a 96 and still have my 97. The 96 is better overall.
@@paulmryglod4802 The POWERJET carb! I always thought the 96 with a pipe was better than a 97...
@@lakedweller6572 I definitely liked the 96 chassis. My 97 with an fmf pipe pulled forever. I could skip shifts where others were shifting once more before a turn.
2 Stroke 💪💪
Great video it's got to be 2 stroke especially on the bends
Thank you!!
That track is fuckin sweet man
It’s really fun! I love the sand
Love 1996 Cr 250r they rip✊
Hell yea
The dude on the quad is rippin 🤘
Yea he rips! That’s Nick Gennusa
Big vlog guy
😂😂😂😂
Look at this would ya look at that
Would ya just look at it
Nice CR! I'm building my own that is also a 96. How or where can I get a PC pipe like yours? I'm not from the US so I only checked Pro Circuit page and they are out of stock :(
That’s awesome! Funny story about that pipe. I ordered from pc while they were out of stock. They said it would be up to 8 months. They called the next day and said they made a batch and it was ready to ship out. Just get on their waiting list.
@@motoblast3574 awesome! Which model is yours? Works? Because I cannot find other tan platinum for the 250 96. Thanks!
@@gonzalomiranda9570 mine is a works pipe. They will make a batch once the waiting list reaches 40 people
@@motoblast3574 I ordered a new PC Platinum pipe for my 99 CR250R in Dec 2021, and I actually just called them yesterday 8/1/22, and still no ETA. He said they only make them in batches of 30, and they are currently up to 23 orders. I said cool, almost there! He said no, just because it reaches 30 orders, it doesn't mean they will immediately start making them since they produce the parts that have the highest demand. I would think they would go by what was ordered first, and I ordered mine Dec '21......come on, Pro Circuit. It looks like the FMF Fatty pipe has now become available, so I may just need to cancel the PC order and go with the FMF instead. Errr!
Try James painton in the United Kingdom. I got a pipe from him last year for my 1995 cr 250
It's FACT the 4-strokes are faster around a race track! Hence why the sport has moved fwd. The 2-stroke holdouts should too! *Don't sell your Ole 2-strokes.. but do join the 4-stroke evolution w/all new bike purchases* .
Yes!
Track looks SICK!
Good video!
Thank you!! I really appreciate that
That 96 250 is sweet I have a 94 500 and a 2023 450 in some ways they are similar but both great bikes
That’s awesome! Thank you
forks don't work i tried then had to go back to omc with mods
@@unclelennie150 it has the crf triple clamps and you have to swap over the cr lower stem bearing to make it work
