    how did you get the cab unlocked to get the keys

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The keys should be with all the hardware. Which should be in that bottom larger drawer.

    Can you build it left handed? ie bottle rack on other side?

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I don't think so. Thanks for watching.

    Hello Martin,
    I too picked up the Protig 205 a few months back. Upgrades include CK touches and SSC foot pedal (super smooth setup). Loving this machine.

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How is that foot pedal different compared to the Vulcan one?

    • @Irukandji01
      @Irukandji01 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@martinbuilt way smoother than the Vulcan pedal. Arc light up is very crisp

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Irukandji01 I may have to look into that. Didn't know the pedal could affect how starts-up.

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      could give me the part number for the pedal, thank you.

      @martinbuilt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would have used a rivnut/nutsert when lowering that bottle holder. I'd feel much better having that positive attachment and not relying on just a self tapper. Otherwise looks like a good cart, I'd have one if I had the room for one. I just have the small Chicago Electric welding cart.

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes if I were holding a large bottle in place I would have used the nutserts. The small Chicago Electric cart is the one that I'm replacing for the Vulcan, it has been a great little cart.

    Hello, just curious if you could tell me the dimensions of the surface that holds the machines. Harbor freight dimensions include the bottle shelf. I want to see if it will fit my 3 machines. Thanks

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The top surface area is 34.5 inches wide and 20 1/8 inches deep.

    It’s stupid that the drawers don’t lock they should definitely be able to be locked

    • @martinbuilt
      @martinbuilt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      the lack of locks didn't bother me, I never lock my tool boxes.

    • @chris18228

      @@martinbuilt I have to worry about other people taking my stuff that’s why I think the drawers should be lockable like a toolbox wear one key unlocks all drawers
