    1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S-Code in black / black with 550hp and ingenious driving performance - men's dreams come true!!!
    Between 2013 and 2015, the car was rebuilt / restored according to the highest German quality standards to the smallest detail. The then already good S-code body from Texas was chemically stripped in a dip bath and then KTL coated, the sheet metal work was meticulously brought to a best state - you will not be able to find a Mustang with better gap dimensions! There has been a very high quality multi-coat paint job in gloss black (great depth) and all cavities have been preserved with Mike Sanders. The interior has been left in classic deluxe style, though of course the connoisseurs among you will recognize that classic sports seats, which provide the necessary lateral support, have been installed and everything has been covered in the finest leather and carpets (including door panels). Up to this point it is a perfectly restored Mustang Fastback in classic garb, but the real highlight of this supercar is its performance...
    A 408cui Custom Stroker engine with 550hp and over 1.000Nm torque is installed, paired with a solid 5-speed manual gearbox and long transmission ratio, so that this Mustang becomes a Porsche conqueror even on the highway! Of course, the chassis, axles and brakes were completely adapted to the new setting and massively improved/reinforced so that the brute power can also be brought safely on the road (details below).
    The restoration was carried out with the utmost care and craftsmanship. The condition of the vehicle can therefore be described as better than new. A detailed report on the history and the restoration can be read in the Drive Style magazine "Träume Wagen" issue 07/2015. If one experience can compensate for all the efforts, then it is the ride in this black Mustang. The driving experience can be described in just a few words: brute and honest. Steve McQueen may have been one hell of a cool dog, but you'll see the better Mustang here today in good old Europe, thanks to a lot of know-how and a will to perfection.
    Engine: Based on a classic 351cui Ford Windsor block brought to 408cui with the help of a stoker kit and aluminum heads (6.7L/approx. 550hp, over 1,000Nm) programmable MSD ignition system, high performance fuel pump, large aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, Holley carburetor (750cc), ceramic coated header, 83L fuel tank, fabricated aluminum propshaft, and much more.
    Transmission: TKO 600 (5-speed) with hydraulic clutch actuation and HURST shifter, auxiliary oil cooler
    Suspension: Mustang 2 front axle (elimination of spring dome, thanks to Crossmember), compression and rebound adjustable coilover front and rear, reinforced front and rear stabilizer bars, 9" rear axle with Truetrac 28 tooth limited slip differential and TCI 4-link system, Wilwood Dynalite brake system (6 piston 12.88" front, 4 piston rear) with adjustable brake pressure, rack and pinion steering with electrically assisted steering column (adjustable), and much more.
    Style: Wolf in sheep's clothing / Sleeper, GT hood hat with locking flap mechanism, chrome hood guards, EVERYTHING lavishly upholstered in the finest leather (Red topstitching), classic Scat Rallye seats, complete Deluxe Style with brushed aluminum and center console, Interior completely insulated and high quality carpets, 3-point front seat belts, 15" Grantr steering wheel, modern air conditioning, classic 16" American Racing Torqu-Trust rims, retro sound radio with sound system, odometer, windshield with green wedge and much more.
    Body: Starting point was a well preserved 67 S-Code body from Texas, which was chemically stripped in a dip bath and KTL coated, frame reinforcement by welded Crossmember and TCP Subframe Connector, sheet metal work performed at the highest level and gap dimensions brought to a best, high-quality 4-layer paint (black uni), all cavities with Mike Sanders preserved, and much more.
    GOOD LUCK on bidding!

    I have a lot of words to describe this fine automobile, but 'sleeper' is not among them. Well done.

    That motor is most like balanced and blueprinted simply based on the fact it didnt move one centimeter to left ir vf right when revved. Such a nice build. I'm so jealous.🥰😍😍

      An engine will rock to one side under acceleration of its RPM based on reaction to the inertia of its rotating assembly, not an imbalance. A well balanced rotating assembly is going to have the same inertia as a poorly balanced one. Perhaps it has extra stiff urethane mounts? If so then let's hope it is well balanced so vibration is minimized.

      @@JackF99 Been building engines for 20+ years. That motor is balanced and blueprinted. When you can set a glass of water completely full on the air intake or manifold and not spill a drop???? It balanced and blueprinted. Sorry man. Just facts.

    So... where's the "sleeper" part of it? Looks to be a mildly modified Ford small block... no blower or anything?

    • @carclassicacmpgmbh2466
      @carclassicacmpgmbh2466  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think that the definition "Sleeper" fits very well here. The Mustang looks completely original except for the air intake on the hood and the vehicle height, but has real 550HP and over 1,000Nm of torque on the rear axle, which this Mustang also brings to the road! In Germany it's almost the maximum you can get legally registered - unfortunately we have slightly different regulations than in the US ;)

    Does not appear to be a true S code. Looks more like a "Medium End Custom Build." Note cheap speaker placement, hood latch unrestored, cheap floor mats, seats, WTF are those gauges doing on the passenger side? Paint is wicked nice, nice tire/wheel combo.
