I've had my 1967 Mustang GT 390 4 speed almost 6 years now. It is also Dark Moss Green with the standard black interior. As the guy in the video here mentions, these cars get an awful lot of attention. I can't take mine to get gas without at least two or three people commenting on it or walking over to look at it. The car is a true American Icon.
Guys I must say thats got to be one of your hottest vid so far, great editing, and nice drone action! Keep up the good work lads maybe the sun will come out? ✌️
Wish my 67 S-code Gt was a fastback! 390 was replaced with a built 460 with a built C-6 manual valve body trans and 4:11 gears trac lok out back in the 9". Still wish it had the 390 and 4 speed top loader in it. Do you realize Owen, you are driving a Icon of Detroit steel muscle? This body style was for only 67 and 68. RARE in today world my friend.
thought i would reply, but you have an s code gt coupe as i call them and a '67. i like the coupe over the fast back especially the track cars (road course), lower in the front and back with the front just a little lower. look up racecarsdirect or svra market place and look at the race styling of the coupes from the photos of the mustangs for sale and other places that have vintage racers for sale. i like the '67 too over the '68 due to the '67 having no side marker lights and it has a better looking stock steering wheel in my opinion. and yes we are always looking for something else other than what we have. if you have the funding drop in your 4 speed if ya' want. and yes the fast backs look good too, but it's something about the coupes that look good too. enjoy your coupe. my 2 cents.
I recall GT package included 4 chrome exhaust tip with cutouts on the rear splash pan and the running horse emblems were eliminated. 67 pop gas cap letters were black not red indicates to me its likely an imposter.
Thanks Matt, appreciate the sub. You never know maybe 1 day, we are just here for us mates having a good time and play with cars, not fussed about Lambo’s and the money, we just enjoy doing it!! 🤙🏻
These machines were WAY underrated back then, I lived it. Everyone had a hardon over Camaros and Plymouths. YET, they got their butts handed to them by a Ford.
Why would you even bother driving a car, that is so iconic, and never drive it above what, 35 mph?? You might as well go get yourself a pair of roller skates or a go cart. Mind you, I DO NOT advocate you driving at unsafe speeds, and NEVER where there are other people around, but where you can get on the highway if the speed limit is 70 mph, then seeing how fast you can get it up to 70 mph is fair game.

That's such a beautiful Mustang!
I have this same car only in sunlight yellow, then another in dark moss green but with a 289 love them both
Beautiful example, and a good review.
My Brother owned a 67 fastback with a 390! Color was Highland Green. Cobra springs on the front. A true Road Racer!!!!
Highland Green was a ‘68 color. The dark green in ‘67 was called Dark Moss Green.
Another great video guys! Hoping and waiting for this channel to blow up
Cheers Peter, we can only hope
My favorite yr of the mustang GT and with a bigblock 390 four speed
