Thank you for de-mystifying the art of Japanese cooking, I have only just stumbled on your videos, and you are helping a lot with pots that seem really complicated and making them a very simple meal.

I am a bit confused, you just cut all that, put it in water, take em out and start eating....i mean no salt, no nothing....does the soy sauce dip gives it the flavour? I am sorry if I sound ignorant, I came across your channel and have been watching it but I am not at all familiar with Japanese cuisine. I mean folks around the world use different spices, cooking techniques to add flavour to the food and this looks so simple yet delicious. What gives it the flavour?

    Well done video.
Here are my comments, which I hope you will find helpful, or not.
1). Awesome - trite word that is overly used. People think they’re cool using it, when in fact it’s outdated, and uncool.
2). Cutting tofu. Since you are a proponent of safety, the method you use here and in other videos for cutting tofu in the palm of your hand is really dangerous and sets a VERY bad example for your audience, which is watched by thousands. Please use your cutting board or a plate to cut the tofu. Cutting it in the palm of your hand could do serious damage to ligaments and tendons. A slip is all it would take. God forbid.
3). Cutting chicken. Forgot to mention to wet and rinse the cutting board.
