We're going way back here, so my memory may be a bit foggy on the details, but I'll try and remember some details from Tirean's and my first runs of the game. The first runs were VERY basic, not a whole lot of tech had been discovered. If I remember rightly the only trick on the list that Tirean did was the jump in 2-1. Tirean wasn't a heavy runner for any game, and didn't really do a lot after getting the 1:32:38, which implemented a few of the skips that I had been working on, which included all of the skips that you listed at the start. I threw a lot of time throwing my head at a lot of walls in the early days of this game's life making a lot of little discoveries. I actually still have some tutorial videos for the new skips from Aug 14th 2015 that are unlisted if anyone is interested in seeing them. Unfortunatly, life and depression got in the way back then which made runs basically impossible in the end, and then a certain amount of animosity between me and the community whilst I was one of the heads made me leave the community. Not with any hate, more for my mental health. I am glad to see that Lego Batman has survived and thrived over the years and I am amazed at how far the run has come in that time, more than halving the time of my first runs.

I wasn't very top level, but I was active in the community, and I even held the Freeplay Villain world record at a point, I think. Haven't even watched the video before leaving this comment so I'll see what gets covered.
I was wondering where Waylon was through before sub 1. Waylon was a legend back in the day. Love this video! Very nostalgic from back when I was learning and running the game religiously. Prnced is obviously the Lego goat, and Los coming into the LB community was huge blessing. Gonna have to wait for a 100% or Free Play video to see me anywhere XD

If you want to go for something not too hard do lego incredibles pretty much the easiest lego game to 100 percent I personally have 100 percent lego marvel 1, lego marvel avengers, lego incredibles 2 times, and lego Ninjago 2 times
it’s hard to track down the exact person who found a glitch, since they’re often found at launch. Most speedrun glitches, however, are found accidentally by runners
is sub 30 minutes possible??? and if so, I got some suggestions on how it could be done so you know that Lego batman no studs challenge video you posted well some of the tricks you used like finishing a level early like pushing Penguin and Catwoman into the toxic waste in 2-5 they could be useful in speeding up the progress in some levels.
This is meant as constructive criticism, not hate: as someone who played this game along time ago, a refresher on the game to open would have been nice. Also, more of a focus on gameplay, and not the times would make the video alot better. I don't need to look at the line graph constantly, show me more of the speedrun
Does anyone know why you never see the 15 arkham asylum levels in speedruns (where you play as the villains)? I guess these do not exist in every version, i played it a lot as a kid in a Playstation Portable (PSP)
this video only covers Hero, since it was the most popular category at the time of recording. Villain runs can be seen in Any%, or the Villain stand-alone category
Hero Any% was generally seen as the main category because completing the three chapters was when you saw the credits sequence for the game, and when you started a new game it's where you started.
this is why speedrunning communities die. It gets to a point where youre hardly playing the actual game and no one ever makes a tutorial. So the few that know how to do it get burnt out then stop playing and alot of the know how dies with them
