Cant please no one on youtube these days I think the pov cam is wonderful and unique different from what everyone else is doing and I also thought your attitude was very professional and helpful to your co pilot. Love the vids and I hope you keep it up
this is my training airport! it is insanely awesome to see cockpit footage from a jet into my super cool little airport ❤️. i think my favorite part about this airport is making 737s wait to takeoff while i’m on final in my little warrior haha
Never landed there but the old Stapleton in Denver was so bad we once came in from LA on a 727 (I think) and the passengers applauded when we hit the runway.
Wow that was fun, thanks! That group of buildings with the black and white checkered roofs, to the right abeam the numbers, is the Nation Museum of WWII Aviation. If you have some time, check it out, great museum with many flying warbirds.
The Captain is a bit of a micro manager. The Pilot Flying ask for a wind check he the Captain gave his view of what the wind was doing not what it being reported. I have enjoyed your videos. I like the head mounted camera as it shows what you are doing and a nice view outside as well. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing! Lovely to see how this beauty is operated. Just curious, have you had a chance to try Ray-Ban Meta glasses? They'd make these POV videos even better and you wouldn't need to have a camera on your head 😂
I will never understand why Denver assumes COS Approach wants jets at 250. Every time we get handed off we ask for speed relief and we get it. COS Approach has even told us they don’t need us at 250, Denver just does it.
Denver has quite a bit more traffic than COS. I would have to imagine that the strict speed makes it easier for the tower to get everyone in and out on tight windows, whereas COS has enough space in the schedule to be more flexible. Denver really doesn't want to have to worry about whether COS happens to have enough traffic at a given moment that they need tighter speed controls, so they just take the simpler option from the controller's perspective.
I like your flight videos. I watch a few of the cockpit flight channels. My only comment is the camera mounted to the hat or head of the co-pilot. The constant head movement quickly gets uncomfortable. I think if you had one or two mounted cameras in addition to the co-pilot camera, you could then use multiple views and the co-pilot camera would then be a unique perspective within the video. It is more work in the editing process to do multi-cam, but the results can really make a difference, even with minimal editing.
@@TheChallengerPilotI prefer the head mounted camera, it gives an idea of what you’re actually looking at and it sets you apart from most other cockpit flight channels.
@@Shardith I agree that the head mounted camera provides an added dimension and gives a sense of realism. I was simply suggesting that the head mounted camera be used in addition to mounted cameras. An entire video with head movement becomes distracting and can be difficult to watch .... in my opinion.
I can’t stand the flight instructor attitude I get from these captains. Y’all are both typed in the airplane for a reason. It feels like an instructor and a student rather than two fully qualified pilots working as a team. Just my thoughts
don't like your condescending attitude towards your captain. There is a reason he is in the left seat and you are not. You did the same thing in your last vid. I'm sure if I check all your vids you have always said something smirky to your captain or copilot .
