It's a great point. If God didn't want something to happen like this weather pattern, he could have just not made it happen, right? Why would he need people to pray to him in order to stop it? Unless of course he did it to get people to pray to make him to stop it. I think that's just absurd, and it's indistinguishable from no God at all.
One thing among Christians, when trying to say something positive about someone having been in an accident of sorts, is to tell one that escaped harm, when all others didn't, that God was with them. How insulting is that!! It is especially ignorant and insensitive to those who lost a loved one. That type of comment is saying that the ones who died just didn't cut it with God to be allowed to live as the others did. In other words, they are saying those who died, did not deserve to live!
I don't know if you ever watched the movie Lord of the rings: The Hobbit where there is a scene in which one of the dwarves asked Gandalf the gray to stop the rain. Gandalf told him that the rain will stop when it finishes. I'm not a Christian. I follow Wicca, Shinto and Zen Buddhism. If I pray I don't ask the snow storm to stop. I asked help me get around. And 95 percent of the time I get what I asked for. For you an atheist and agnostic and anyone else who is atheist and agnostic can see that as positive thinking or positive affirmation if you like. But I think any religion that makes it's followers come to service in my opinion is evil and corrupt..
Let’s don’t forget, it was JESUS that PREDICTED something TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, CHAOS will COME(Matt. 24), HAS to COME or say OCCUR and then the END will be promised! What I was missing about this while a believer is: WHY I didn’t question myself, How can A LOVE predict such and he himself just go up somewhere safe and allow himself to watch humankind suffer from what he predicted😮
Sounded like Marjoe Gortner there at the beginning. I almost sent money. The storm is hitting the Bible belt to test your faith, dude - the Lord loves to test people. He's kinda quirky in that way.
Why the hell don't people want storms? Sure, they're a nuisance. Been in plenty of tropical storms. For hurricanes, get the hell out of dodge; but for more minor storms, stock up and shelter in place. Far as I know, we need storms. How about humans do what we can do? Like help with the CA wildfires? Praying ain't gonna do a damn thing.
If your holy book tells you how to treat your slaves (the bible, old and new testaments to name two) your holy book is disqualified as a source of moral code. If prayer actually worked, we'd see this happen: Ambulances would take patients to houses of worship (churches, mosques, temples, etc.) instead of hospitals. When you want to do the least you can possibly do... Pray. Two hands working achieve more than a million clasped in prayer.
Learned behaviour, I haven't heard a church song ( maybe Christmas carols at a shopping centre ) in about 43 years, I caught myself humming one from my youth the other day, dont know its name but it was celebrating eating JC and drinking his blood, I stopped and thought thats really fucked up, and they taught kids this like it was good and normal 😂😂, ps I'm in the sub tropics, everyday is a palm day and special days are prawn days 🍤

Takes up too many characters in a title 😂😂😂
I call the snow : Pennies from heaven .
I freaking love all the christian impressions😅😅😅
Its the lords will, Timmy that the storm hits YOUR area. (JK)🤣🤣
Habits are habits. If you're used to speaking...or praying...in a religious manner for DECADES, it's going to creep in from time to time, if only for a second. Cult behavior doesn't leave anyone overnight. Move on. No judgement should come from anyone who truly understands deconstruction or deconversion!!
I left islam 3 years ago and still find myself saying a prayer from time to time
Happy New Year and congratulations we are all still here on the earth in 2025!! lol😂
Timmy, do you know where Peculiar Kansas is?
Yes! Father in law lives there!
@timmygibsonkc My friends live there, and I've been there twice to visit!🤗
But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
Wow! Blatant
I want to hear your crazy stories of the charismatic movement 😂 Did you ever witness anyone being slain in the spirit, Timmy? I saw a video the other night of Benny Hinn doing it to.people, and their reactions/behaviour was so bizarre. What do you make of it, and do you have a theory as to why they act that way?
I’ve lived in Kansas City, it’s not the “buckle”. That would be the city I currently live in: Chattanooga.
"In the name of J'HEE-zuz we command this storm to dissipate because we are going to church come hayell or hot water!" - Evangelical megachurch leader
On Sunday: Megachurch parishioners find themselves stuck in the snow in their cars 😂
Max Velocity is a great weather YT channel.
Maybe it is snowing so much because even god hates MAGATS!💙💙💙🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂
Ryan Hall is from Pikeville, which is about 30 minutes away from me, lol.
I grew up fairytales books like King Arthur and knights of the round table ,King Arthur was mortally wounded in battle and taken to a place called Avalon where he died ,but legend has it that one day he will return as a messiah to save his people in England in their darkest days ,that is as likely to happen as Jesus coming back😂
I have answered prays !
And how many werent?
It's a great point. If God didn't want something to happen like this weather pattern, he could have just not made it happen, right? Why would he need people to pray to him in order to stop it? Unless of course he did it to get people to pray to make him to stop it. I think that's just absurd, and it's indistinguishable from no God at all.
It's really hard to be in the middle of it and be living... kind of a double life.
Damm man...I hope you find someone to speak with about that.
Peace.
Forever is a long time to be right or wrong.
The mortgage monthly note on the megachurch has to be paid, ya know 🤣
I can't get into any of the sites you gave us
Let’s don’t forget, it was JESUS that PREDICTED something TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, CHAOS will COME(Matt. 24), HAS to COME or say OCCUR and then the END will be promised! What I was missing about this while a believer is: WHY I didn’t question myself, How can A LOVE predict such and he himself just go up somewhere safe and allow himself to watch humankind suffer from what he predicted😮
That's a truth that sets you free,"you don't know shit!"
Ryan Hall is the best ❤
Shouldn't the focus be on looking after our neighbors in a time of need?
Sounded like Marjoe Gortner there at the beginning. I almost sent money. The storm is hitting the Bible belt to test your faith, dude - the Lord loves to test people. He's kinda quirky in that way.
Such pathetic and dangerous religious leaders that think God does whatever they ask.
Whatever you were smoking I want some😂
Prayer works just as well as random chance.
Yes- the storm is going to be exactly WHAT it is going to be regardless of what anyone has to say or pray about it
If your holy book tells you how to treat your slaves (the bible, old and new testaments to name two) your holy book is disqualified as a source of moral code.
If prayer actually worked, we'd see this happen: Ambulances would take patients to houses of worship (churches, mosques, temples, etc.) instead of hospitals.
When you want to do the least you can possibly do... Pray.
Two hands working achieve more than a million clasped in prayer.
So sad cuz crypto pulled me out of financially hard times. Scammers make it look so bad. I hope hell exists for them!!!!
Dollar, Copeland, Duplantis...
Hi, I NEVER UNDERSTOOD PRAYER. IT ACTUALLY AS EVANGELICALS PRACTICE THEIR FAITH.
I always.even as a kid. Thought it was rude for someone to say, can i pray for you. It implies that your broken in their eyes
Timmy, you’ve been of tremendous help in my journey of deconstruction, but this clip is over the top. Do you really have to be so sarcastic about things that I’m trying to leave behind, but if it helps others get through the night🙏
Everything to do with abrahamic religion, and I mean EVERYTHING should be criticized as ruthlessly as possible, anyone who believes this evil and unimaginative fiction should be shamed, bullied and silenced.
No, he’s going too soft on this abrahamic garbage. It’s unfortunate that if I say what I really think about these stupid superstitions, youtube will automatically remove my comment and give me a warning. Ridiculous.
Did you pray for that coffee mug?
I can't speak for the Father, but I believe that self-indulgent prayer or praying for anything selfish expectation tests God and therfore fails.
To the former pastor Jesus Christ demonstrated a lifestyle not a religion.
I can understand leaving mankind's traditions.
But I do urge yiu to rethink why you left God.
God is spieit, and gave you the "being" part of your human being. (Being is your Spieir/Life)
All the problems your pointing out about your former Christian stuff are all man made
The religion is all man made. So what's your point?
Please talk about the charismatic Trump delusion
That preacher impression got me 🎯 😂 glad I stumbled upon this page 🙂↔️subscribed! & joined the FB group.
Jesus is coming back to help people transcend religion and live in the eternal Now….
Jesus's still loves you Timmy
😂
Plural? How many "Jesus's" are there😂
😂😂😂😂😂
It is a good bet that the gays in the Midwest have been extra naughty this Christmas season. The snowstorm is a warning. If they keep it up... tornadoes are a comin'...
The mockery is seen by God.
Ok, are his feelings hurt?
@Joshua52391 Mine are. My God will not be mocked. Prayers for every non believer.
@i.m.watching5536 I'm sorry that you're personally offended, but we mock your god because he is worthy of mockery. You're god is not good, he's mean spirited and loves violence.
@@i.m.watching5536prayers dont even work. And if it did it would be considered as a "spell". Aka witchcraft. Actually thats what prayers are, incantations/spells
@@i.m.watching5536course your feelings are hurt. All yall are sensitive and see everything as persecution. Also prayers are spells, stop performing witchcraft on people to manipulate their thoughts
