Same here, very rare to see a tutorial really stands on a beginner's point of view. Eg. Many people teach you if you can't do pike walk, do it in bend knees. But what really bend knees does is just lower the hips and just make the movement harder...
I tried the press to handstand with my hands fully stretched out and I could only do the exercise one time. But now it seems way more consistent. Thank you, Andry!

Try to do a full range of motion one arm planche push up. I've never heard of anyone doing it but you are one of the best planche athletes in the world so you might be able to do it.
Why not one finger Planche pushup press to handstand ? Weird not? So do not complicate life with impossible and very risky skills that just exist in your imagination. If you don't see anyone doing it yet, It is because perhaps simply not doable by humans.

Andry thanks I did my first press of my life I was training for handstand push-ups for 5 months and I was stuck at chest to wall hs push-up in freestanding I was able to go down but not push up but after this video I did my first press bending knees during press is so much easy thx again

I know I'm nearly ready for this because sometimes in elbow lever warmups I accidentally press up. If I do that I just launch myself up before, you guessed, kissing the floor
i personally find bend arm press easier than kick-up. I just never know how to control the kick-up force 😂, everything works fine with bend arm press tho.

That looks like "bent arm, bent leg" press.🙂 Easier than doing it with straight legs which is the proper way to do it but much harder. If you want to do it that way, I think you should be able to do at least 1 free standing HSPU. Because it 's basically harder version of HSPU s concentric part. Learning frogstand to handstand definitely helps if you want to do it with bent legs.
And that kicking up thing to straighten up your leg is dangerously close to crossfit zone. 😄 Just joking, I know you are doing this to teach beginners. Stay strong.
No thanks. 😄Crossfit pullups and HSPU's look ridiculous and I don't think they are good for the joints or getting stronger. I do calisthenics to get strong.They lift weights to get strong and then make those ugly moves to race in competetions.

Theres also the straight leg bent arm press as well. May be a good intermediary skill between bent arm press and full straight arm press.

Can be both. Keep practicing. This movement its not about 1 day practice
