Summarizing key takeaways for you: 1. Kids need a hero. Someone who is going to accept them, forgive them, who they can turn to. Someone who is going to help them figure out - it may not be ok right now but I’m gonna help you and it will be ok 2. Have a refuge/ safe space - home, school, some classes 3. Spend time in nature, pray, sing 4. Have a voice, an opportunity to be heard. Be able to speak emotions and be accepted. Do activities that allow you to express yourself - write poetry, make art.. They need to be able to externalize the internal so that they can emote. 5. Need to find purpose and have things/ goals to look forward to. Be a hero to the kid, love them, accept them, guide them, offer them a place of refuge, give them a voice. Help them to write or sing or pray or whatever to get it out. Give them a place where they can love somebody else. We all need to be loved and we can only do that the best by giving love

Even as a child this man made the right choices that led him down a more positive path than his brothers. Following God and finding purpose is a choice and thankfully this man made the right choices even at a young age.
What a powerful story you were a very loving and inspirational man. I’m so happy for all of your successes in love and life and the powerful and transformational work you were doing in this world 🌎!

Emotionally resilient kids.
Loved this... sometimes i notice, many of the same people with at home adversity either enjoy church AND school or dont take to religion or school
Bless you Michael ✨

I just read a children's book to my son titled THE VEGETARIAN PANTHER by Dr. Beverly. It's quite enjoyable and has a great lesson for children.
