This is so relatable. I have just quit everything about my old life. I wanted to shed off my identity that was shaped by the world, in order to find my real or even go back to my old unadulterated self.

Such a good talk. Thank you. Needed to hear this. I'm sorry for what you had to go through. Also, that guy at the end should be sued for abuse.

This was everything I needed Becca! Thank you for sharing... I know it must have been hard. I am so sorry you went through that, and so happy you rose stronger.

It is weird how people put away the inconvenient truths, and own culpabilities...
Glad to hear people live through that and remain aflame with rightiousness.
    Only the truth heals.

Yes. The moment life becomes complex and hard to reduce back into 1 feeling... or anything that feels secure. Like loosing a leg on a 3 legged stool, it will never be the same, but somehow you are doing the balancing now. This talk was great. Happy to find it. Thank you.

Great talk. Really well presented. Specifically love the multidimensional part, about empathising with your future self. Means a lot 👌❤️

Religion often demands you value invisible pals above real live people here on Earth.
They HAD to betray, and ostracize, and gaslight you, to be good Christians. They feared eternal torture by their "loving God" if they sided with you.
Just be glad you know what they are, and are out of their sickness. Now YOU can decide what it is to be kind, sane, and loving.
    Hugs.

@Windy Gomes I'm so sorry this is your view of Christians and the loving God... it is not the true story or how true Jesus follower Christians should behave.
If you would, please read the book of John in the Bible.
