Fun Fact. The author Fujino Ōmori originally, didn't want Lilly to level up. "Originally, despite his editor's insistence, the author planned not to let Lili level up to represent the talentless. However, after rereading the volumes leading up to volume 15, he decided to let her do it since he thought it would be weird if she didn't do so after everything she passed through."
I actually like Lilly the best of them all. She is more like us that all the others. Yes Bell has exceptional growth but thats expected. Lilly literally has had to work, grind, and claw her way to where she is. She didn't start with talent or OP abilities, she was literally the lowest rung of all adventurers, and now shes basically leading a army.
I mean, even with a lack of talent one can certainly level up to a certain extent with insurmountable effort. someone who doesn't level up no matter what doesn't really represent the talentless. If even if she reaches level 3-4 at her peak compared to many many people she'd still look talentless.
That's a tad bit ridiculous and unfair. She's essentially been with bell since the beginning so they've gone through similar experiences minus the deep floors. For her to not even gain a single damn level would just be ridiculous, regardless of talent one would expect to level up eventually.

Since half of the Adventures don't get past Level 1. So to have someone in the main group stay level one to tell their point of view.

I hate Cassandra so damn much, like she hasn't changed at all, and her dialogue is annoying af. The fact that she is not even explaining her dreams properly is a pain in the ass.

Bell is a level 5 so that's a given For the four Level 2s of the Familia, they have something more valuable than their own level. Haruhime has Level Boost Welf has the Crozzo Magic Swords and the Will o Wisp that Hedin has acknowledged a skillset to counter the Elven race. Lily have her tactics And Mikoto's magic can affect Level 5-6 tiers.
honestly, welf's new swords and haruhime's level boost would likely let bell beat anyone in the freya familia except ottar.... but if the level boost was on mikoto as well, her magic might just affect ottar, even if only a little. I feel like they'd all need to either avoid ottar entirely or seriously work together in order to have even a CHANCE of winning
@@DarkFrozenDepths Bell's got more going for him than that. Objectively, he's more powerful than all of Freya Familia combined - if he wanted to unleash a weapon of mass destruction. After all, conventional wisdom has it impossible to defeat the floor 37 Colosseum, yet he reduced it to rubble with a single attack. Freya Familia can't do that. So if they wanted an easy win and didn't care about mass casualties, he could use that same attack to eliminate much of Freya Familia in a single shot. He's not the kind of guy to do that however, so I doubt that'll happen.
@@scottl369 Bell would be mismatched from Ottar alone... and even currently he struggled so hard to land ONE HIT on a level 6.... freya has multiple level 6s on top of ottarl there's no way he could solo the Freya familia. also his charge move (argonaut) makes literal sounds, so he will let others know he's there at the very least. also, I would say more, but that's spoilers.
@@DarkFrozenDepths If Bell had the personality to do it, he could basically use what he did to indirectly outfight Freya Familia by destroying the Colosseum (by defeating what they could not), and effectively nuke Freya Familia with that attack. He doesn't have that personality, so it would never happen. But if he were the type to do that, Freya would lose over half her familia in one shot, including executives, Ottarl or not.

I think the Hestia Familia should be taking advantage of Mikoto’s knowledge and abilities in hand to hand to slowly increase Haruhime and Lily’s abilities. You don’t have to be fighting life or death battles to gain small amounts. A simple run, pt exercises and small hand to hand drills each morning would slowly increase both ladies strength, agility, and endurance. Not enough for them to take part in battle but even a tiny bit would help them both be more adept at avoiding danger so the combat oriented members of the familia can focus on the fighting aspects.
Experience is given based on how difficult and life-threatening the action is. No one in Hestia Familia wants to put Haruhime through that and without Realiz phrase, they might have to do that for months to get meager stats. And this will work when her physical stats are in H or G. A better usage would be having her focus on sorcery as it is her forte and would actually be buffed easily. She might not hold her own in melee but that is why you have front liners. This is the truth for almost all adventurers and the reason why Freya familia is seen as so strong.
Enjoying the videos. I'd definitely like to see a comparison of just how outclassed Bell is compared to Otarl, especially since Bell has a lot of SS. Surely that's gotta mean something, whether temporarily buffed to level 6 or still at level 5.
@@InitialT-tm- freya can see the potential in anyone so it's likely she is edging him from level 8 so she can get the most benefit on his stat growth. This would mean that ottar is likely the most powerful level 7 to have ever existed so far. Which is likely why bell was pushed to SSS in everything before going up a level. it'd be like ottar on roids

Ryu hasn’t leveled up in over 4 years, so nothing about her has changed. If there is already a video on this channel about her, go back and watch it again. If something changed, then that would deserve a new video…
I was going to make the same point but in a different way. She hasn't been able to level up because her goddess left the city, it would be interesting to see what her stats look like now, especially after the Juggernaut encounter. I believe she was a level 4 even before going after Evilus. If she were to have kept leveling I think she'd be a high 5 to mid 6 at this point
Hestia Familia has really gelled with Dungeon Raids. They know each others strengths, play off them, and always have each other's backs. This is in direct opposition to Freya, where all of their loyalty is to only her. There so many big Egos and infighting and dislike even.. that they likely will try and solo everything. Haven't heard of recent Freya raids so they've only been sparring for how many months/years? Only Loki has been actively raiding as far I recall. Also, Cinderella will be pivotal I think. ace in the hole. They can setup some fake betrayals and/or steal flowers to take bigwigs out quickly without even a fight. Haruhime + Ryu (if our blessed wind dragon gets a status update could be massive too) I can't see Aisha sitting this one out either, but I heard her Falna was changed and not to Hestia... and I think there's a big cooldown period? Anyways pumped for this bigtime!!!
I know that we mostly saw Will o wisp used on fire magic, but it was also used against the 18th floor surprise boss, canceling his (i guess) wind magic
Haruhime should learn healing enchantments, considering that she can cast her level boost ability on at least 4-6 people, she can also cast her healing spell on the same amount of people.
Sadly you can't just learn magic from someone else in this universe (with some cheeky exceptions, like Lefiya from the Loki Familia). Every adventurer has a limited amount of slots for magic, the maximum being 3. You can't have more than that, and Haruhime has 2 already. It gets harder and harder to learn a new spell, to the point where getting a 3rd spell is unlikely. Even if you cheat, and use a Grimoire, it can be wasted without giving you anything. Spells are unique to the individual. Their chant tells a personal story "Kokonoe. Beloved snow. Beloved crimson. Beloved white light. Please let me be beside you - this love I have found at the end of two thousand nights." To learn a new spell, she will most likely have to live a unique experience or event to obtain it. But yes, healing magic would be super useful.
I think barier or protection magic is more suitable for her.. 😅 Cause they have ryu or cassandra that can use healing magic but there's no one who's close to bell that can use barier magic..
I think Welf’s will o wisp works on more than just fire magic. In the light novel, he tries to use it on transformation magic, which will be shown soon in the anime
Hopefully Ryu joins the Hestia family and goes from lvl 4 to 5 as well would help balance out the famila especially considering how her bond has developed with bell
i think Bell could almost handle Otarl. I think, with her buff, he will be close to a level 7. I can't wait to see how things go. So long as the Alliance doesn't lose Hestia or some of the larger Familia's they have, they should be good. Cassandra gave them the way to win....
with haruhime's buff, he should be comparable to a low level 7...but ottar is a high level 7.... he'd likely need welf's new weapons to even have a chance and that's on top of haruhime's boost
@@DarkFrozenDepths Well, Argonaut, and some of his other skills, as well as the training he got from the twins, will make him close in raw power. Otarl has the edge, but, we have seen Rabbit beat people who were stronger before. Remember the Toad from the red district guild?
@@jonathanwessner3456 i feel like it'd be a different story here since beating ottarl, who is stronger than Aiz, would mean that Bell not only caught up to Aiz, but surpassed her. and not just her too considering the minotaur he lost to... which would mean they'd have to give a whole new reason for his fast growth skill to take effect, like the black dragon that took out the zeus and hera familia, who had adventurers that were even stronger than ottarl cause if i'm right, that black dragon is at least strong enough to be equal to a lv11....

Interesting video and comments. One thing that's sorta weirded me out about the anime is, I experienced a weird disconnect between seasons 1 and 2. I'm curious why that is.
Ngl, for someone like me not having read the Manga, I'm low-key really hoping that Bell uses Haruhime's level up boost to put himself on par with Freya's Level 7. With all the crap Freya put Bell through this season, he has the battle experience and ... tbh kinda OP for a level 5 ... that with Haruhime's boost, he could "distract" Freya's top battlers. Use himself as a decoy and if he manages to be on-par with a level 7, it'll really really surprise a lot of people. Enough that it really could act as a temporary distraction, even for Freya herself. (I'm probably just having a pipe dream but this is something I've been thinking about since yesterday)
Come to think of it. Hestia Familia has become a extreme powerful Familia, as stated by the novel itself. They have low members, but have a level 6 with all her familia's records magic, a level 5 with the record of being the faster level upper in history, a blacksmith of a legendary Lineage, the most OP buffer of all time, a extremely capable commander and tactician, aknowledge by two of the most brilliant commanders of Orario (Finn and Hedin), a strong magic swordman and one of the most promising healers of the school district. Hestia Familia has become a fckin unit ngl.
Pretty sure Freya has just been juicing him the same way that Hestia doesn’t level Bell at the first chance. Also Freya is lazy. If Ottarl is level 8, the guild would expect her Familia to go finish conquering the dungeon.
I’m really curious to see what Ryu and the Cat girl with the brother in Freya family pans into these next two episodes. Also I’m waiting to see who they match bell up with at the beginning of this war game because if he went straight in to fight Otarru then the war will end quickly in defeat for Hestia Family but if we get him to fight a few of the level 5’s and 6’s first it might build Bell up enough to get his skills to a point with Level Boost activated to take on Otarru but I don’t think it’ll be a one v one duke it out I think either A. He will be handicapped somehow or B. Bell will have help beyond Harihume’s level boost
I mean considering that they have other familia on there side it’ll be a bunch of L2-3 and a few 100 or 50 level 4 on the side of hestia plus her bell who’s a L5 and the rest only being L2-3 they will do alright only problem is the power house from Freya
I really like to see Welf Magic Swords for Lili and Haruhime. 😄 Or just imagine how powerful a Welf Magic Dagger would be on Bell with his OP magic stats...
If Bells is level 5 with all his S -SSSS and Ottar is "only" level 7 gotta say Bell is close to catching up in stats he should basically have mid to high level 6 stats
To explain more, stats across levels are not worth the same, and previous level stats only really matter when comparing adventurers of the same level. Saying that Bell at fresh LVL 5 is "as strong as a lower LVL6" is just wrong. The power boost between levels is just that insurmountable. Even as strong a LVL 5 as Bell is, he would still need a LVL boost to stand anywhere in the same arena as a LVL 6, and Ottarl is the pinnacle of LVL 7 and has abilities that increase his strength to theoretical LVL 8 status. What's crazy though, is Ottarl may be the single strongest person in Orario, but he's basically stuck where he's at because he hasn't been able to achieve a grand enough feat to level up. There's things in the world of Danmachi that make Ottarl look weak.
He said in the video Bell is on par with a low level 6, and with Harihume's buff he'd be on par with a low level 7. so stats wise he still doesn't beat ottar even with harihume's buff. plotwise I doubt he's going to beat ottar here because then there isn't really anyone to strive for since he's probably the strongest adventurer around, not to mention just guessing but he's going to be the one to get the flower from freya rather than someone else.
Adding more to what others have said Ottar didnt choose to stay in level 7 but its because he doesnt have a feat worthy for him to level up (e.g. bell killing minotaur at lv1 or aiz beating floor boss udaeus solo) Spoiler for the LN Ottar actually has tried to solo balor a deep floor boss but since unlike loki familia, freya familia doesnt have a cooperative relationship with each other. It means Ottar needs to go to the deep floor and kill the all monsters on the way, kill balor which is on par if not stronger than himself, then go back up to the surface all by himself. Aiz herself if you know from sword oratoria, she needed riveria to escort her back up because she can no longer move after the fight. So Ottar couldnt risk himself dying because he is Freya’s strongest and it would also make Freya sad. Ottar did try to solo Balor a few times but retreated knowing he wont have enough strength to go back up if he continued the fight.
Why Mikoto is still with the Hestia’s familia, despite it suppose to be only temporary at first is a weird considering her original familia is now weakened. Her debt to them should’ve been considered paid and now Hestia familia ain’t really struggling either.
Welf doesn’t have time to mass produce his unbeatable magic swords. The ones he mostly makes for the War Game are his powerful but typical cruzo magic swords. And Haruhime can keep 6 people boosted at once now.
question, what would happen if haruhime put all four charges on one person, would they only level boost once or would that person get four separate level boosts?
Out of curiosity, in regards to how leveling works, do adventurers powers come from the gods themselves? Or does the falna simply unlock the power that the adventurer already had? If the gods themselves are the source of the power, than is the reason that adventurers train because they need their bodies to be stronger so that they can take more arcanum from their god?
(Spoiler, idk)Imagine bell getting level buffed, then having someone hit him w a charm skill due to his new ability raising his stats when he resists a charm skill. If hes already relative to low level 6’s, and the level buff puts him to high six/low seven, then the charm buff puts him to mid-high 7? This would require a lot of prep, but it would also make bell an absolute monster.
I'd say Bell has a good chance against any of the level 6 people. I know mage boy is, well, a mage, but a level 4 Bell managed to get a hit on him just through the constant training once he remembered his training with Ais. A level 5 Bell is 100% landing more than just a hit. obviously the more frontline lads will be difficult, and he'd probably be drained if having to just fight one, but I don't think it'd be super one sided. And as you said, add in the level magic and make him the same level, they'd be in for a surprise.
This just reflects how long it takes every other person to level up. Bell is super abnormal. He levels at 100x the speed of others. Going from level 2 to 3 normally takes years. Mikoto and Welf have only been level 2 for 4-5 months. I expect they will just hit level 3 right before the final end game of the whole series.
My only question for the freya familia is that hedin, Hogni can go to level 7 and Ottar can go to lvl 8 they have the status but my question is why they dont
I said it once and I'll say it again, leveling is about proving yourself but it takes time and dedication, it's about growing as a person whether good or bad. Also these people are absorbing the a minut amount of arcanum. Even Ottar who stands as the strongest can only be considered 0.7% god and that's me being generous because canonically Antares freely using Artemis' powers was capable of destroying the world, so that means these deities are way above their comprehension, meaning that Ottarl's power is comparison is 00.7 or 000.7.
Bell doesn’t need a Welf sword. His firebolt spell is already the same thing - an ability that transforms his magic reserves into fire without needing a chant.

Having the hestia familia only having 2 members above level 2 is kinda crazy. That really puts into perspective how weak 90 percent of adventures are.
Even more crazy is that all the seasons in the anime are only 6 months in universe lol. 6 Months since bell became an adventurer and met Hestia.

You don’t have to be fighting life or death battles to gain small amounts. A simple run, pt exercises and small hand to hand drills each morning would slowly increase both ladies strength, agility, and endurance. Not enough for them to take part in battle but even a tiny bit would help them both be more adept at avoiding danger so the combat oriented members of the familia can focus on the fighting aspects.
They have tried. Haruhime’s physical training often doesn’t go well. But she did manage to improve slightly on their last training run.
Experience is given based on how difficult and life-threatening the action is. No one in Hestia Familia wants to put Haruhime through that and without Realiz phrase, they might have to do that for months to get meager stats. And this will work when her physical stats are in H or G. A better usage would be having her focus on sorcery as it is her forte and would actually be buffed easily. She might not hold her own in melee but that is why you have front liners. This is the truth for almost all adventurers and the reason why Freya familia is seen as so strong.

I'd definitely like to see a comparison of just how outclassed Bell is compared to Otarl, especially since Bell has a lot of SS. Surely that's gotta mean something, whether temporarily buffed to level 6 or still at level 5.

Ottar is basically proto Bell. His stats are nearly as ridiculous as Bells, given the level difference he's thousands of points above.
Ottarl isn’t just level 7, he’s end stage level 7. Pretty sure Freya could level him to 8 but is juicing him the same way Hestia does Bell.
@@InitialT-tm- freya can see the potential in anyone so it's likely she is edging him from level 8 so she can get the most benefit on his stat growth. This would mean that ottar is likely the most powerful level 7 to have ever existed so far.

I was going to make the same point but in a different way. She hasn't been able to level up because her goddess left the city, it would be interesting to see what her stats look like now, especially after the Juggernaut encounter. I believe she was a level 4 even before going after Evilus. If she were to have kept leveling I think she'd be a high 5 to mid 6 at this point

Hestia Familia has really gelled with Dungeon Raids. They know each others strengths, play off them, and always have each other's backs. This is in direct opposition to Freya, where all of their loyalty is to only her. There so many big Egos and infighting and dislike even.. that they likely will try and solo everything. Haven't heard of recent Freya raids so they've only been sparring for how many months/years? Only Loki has been actively raiding as far I recall. Also, Cinderella will be pivotal I think. ace in the hole. They can setup some fake betrayals and/or steal flowers to take bigwigs out quickly without even a fight. Haruhime + Ryu (if our blessed wind dragon gets a status update could be massive too) I can't see Aisha sitting this one out either, but I heard her Falna was changed and not to Hestia... and I think there's a big cooldown period? Anyways pumped for this bigtime!!!

I know that we mostly saw Will o wisp used on fire magic, but it was also used against the 18th floor surprise boss, canceling his (i guess) wind magic
Haruhime should learn healing enchantments, considering that she can cast her level boost ability on at least 4-6 people, she can also cast her healing spell on the same amount of people.
Sadly you can't just learn magic from someone else in this universe (with some cheeky exceptions, like Lefiya from the Loki Familia). Every adventurer has a limited amount of slots for magic, the maximum being 3. You can't have more than that, and Haruhime has 2 already. It gets harder and harder to learn a new spell, to the point where getting a 3rd spell is unlikely. Even if you cheat, and use a Grimoire, it can be wasted without giving you anything. Spells are unique to the individual. Their chant tells a personal story

To learn a new spell, she will most likely have to live a unique experience or event to obtain it. But yes, healing magic would be super useful.
The OP healer slot and secondary healer slot for Hestia familia is reserved for future members…

i think Bell could almost handle Otarl. I think, with her buff, he will be close to a level 7. I can't wait to see how things go. So long as the Alliance doesn't lose Hestia or some of the larger Familia's they have, they should be good. Cassandra gave them the way to win....
with haruhime's buff, he should be comparable to a low level 7...but ottar is a high level 7....
he'd likely need welf's new weapons to even have a chance and that's on top of haruhime's boost

Ngl, for someone like me not having read the Manga, I'm low-key really hoping that Bell uses Haruhime's level up boost to put himself on par with Freya's Level 7. With all the crap Freya put Bell through this season, he has the battle experience and ... tbh kinda OP for a level 5 ... that with Haruhime's boost, he could "distract" Freya's top battlers. Use himself as a decoy and if he manages to be on-par with a level 7, it'll really really surprise a lot of people. Enough that it really could act as a temporary distraction, even for Freya herself. (I'm probably just having a pipe dream but this is something I've been thinking about since yesterday)

Come to think of it. Hestia Familia has become a extreme powerful Familia, as stated by the novel itself. They have low members, but have a level 6 with all her familia's records magic, a level 5 with the record of being the faster level upper in history, a blacksmith of a legendary Lineage, the most OP buffer of all time, a extremely capable commander and tactician, aknowledge by two of the most brilliant commanders of Orario (Finn and Hedin), a strong magic swordman and one of the most promising healers of the school district.

I’m really curious to see what Ryu and the Cat girl with the brother in Freya family pans into these next two episodes. Also I’m waiting to see who they match bell up with at the beginning of this war game because if he went straight in to fight Otarru then the war will end quickly in defeat for Hestia Family but if we get him to fight a few of the level 5’s and 6’s first it might build Bell up enough to get his skills to a point with Level Boost activated to take on Otarru but I don’t think it’ll be a one v one duke it out I think either A. He will be handicapped somehow or B. Bell will have help beyond Harihume’s level boost

That's not how it works.
To explain more, stats across levels are not worth the same, and previous level stats only really matter when comparing adventurers of the same level. Saying that Bell at fresh LVL 5 is "as strong as a lower LVL6" is just wrong. The power boost between levels is just that insurmountable. Even as strong a LVL 5 as Bell is, he would still need a LVL boost to stand anywhere in the same arena as a LVL 6, and Ottarl is the pinnacle of LVL 7 and has abilities that increase his strength to theoretical LVL 8 status.
What's crazy though, is Ottarl may be the single strongest person in Orario, but he's basically stuck where he's at because he hasn't been able to achieve a grand enough feat to level up. There's things in the world of Danmachi that make Ottarl look weak.
He said in the video Bell is on par with a low level 6, and with Harihume's buff he'd be on par with a low level 7. so stats wise he still doesn't beat ottar even with harihume's buff.
plotwise I doubt he's going to beat ottar here because then there isn't really anyone to strive for since he's probably the strongest adventurer around, not to mention just guessing but he's going to be the one to get the flower from freya rather than someone else.
Adding more to what others have said Ottar didnt choose to stay in level 7 but its because he doesnt have a feat worthy for him to level up (e.g. bell killing minotaur at lv1 or aiz beating floor boss udaeus solo)

Ottar actually has tried to solo balor a deep floor boss but since unlike loki familia, freya familia doesnt have a cooperative relationship with each other. It means Ottar needs to go to the deep floor and kill the all monsters on the way, kill balor which is on par if not stronger than himself, then go back up to the surface all by himself. Aiz herself if you know from sword oratoria, she needed riveria to escort her back up because she can no longer move after the fight. So Ottar couldnt risk himself dying because he is Freya’s strongest and it would also make Freya sad. Ottar did try to solo Balor a few times but retreated knowing he wont have enough strength to go back up if he continued the fight.
Iirc the wisp magic of welf is not anti fire but magic casting disruption as a whole. Causing the disrupted magic to self destruct.

Why Mikoto is still with the Hestia’s familia, despite it suppose to be only temporary at first is a weird considering her original familia is now weakened. Her debt to them should’ve been considered paid and now Hestia familia ain’t really struggling either.

Welf doesn’t have time to mass produce his unbeatable magic swords. The ones he mostly makes for the War Game are his powerful but typical cruzo magic swords. And Haruhime can keep 6 people boosted at once now.

Out of curiosity, in regards to how leveling works, do adventurers powers come from the gods themselves? Or does the falna simply unlock the power that the adventurer already had? If the gods themselves are the source of the power, than is the reason that adventurers train because they need their bodies to be stronger so that they can take more arcanum from their god?

If hes already relative to low level 6’s, and the level buff puts him to high six/low seven, then the charm buff puts him to mid-high 7? This would require a lot of prep, but it would also make bell an absolute monster.
That sort of stacking is probably how he'll beat the one eyed dragon whenever, if that happens

I'd say Bell has a good chance against any of the level 6 people. I know mage boy is, well, a mage, but a level 4 Bell managed to get a hit on him just through the constant training once he remembered his training with Ais. A level 5 Bell is 100% landing more than just a hit.
obviously the more frontline lads will be difficult, and he'd probably be drained if having to just fight one, but I don't think it'd be super one sided.
And as you said, add in the level magic and make him the same level, they'd be in for a surprise.
I was expecting all of them to increase their levels after the events of season 3, especially Welf after the creations of his magic sword.
This just reflects how long it takes every other person to level up. Bell is super abnormal. He levels at 100x the speed of others. Going from level 2 to 3 normally takes years. Mikoto and Welf have only been level 2 for 4-5 months. I expect they will just hit level 3 right before the final end game of the whole series.

I said it once and I'll say it again, leveling is about proving yourself but it takes time and dedication, it's about growing as a person whether good or bad. Also these people are absorbing the a minut amount of arcanum. Even Ottar who stands as the strongest can only be considered 0.7% god and that's me being generous because canonically Antares freely using Artemis' powers was capable of destroying the world, so that means these deities are way above their comprehension, meaning that Ottarl's power is comparison is 00.7 or 000.7.

Bell doesn’t need a Welf sword. His firebolt spell is already the same thing - an ability that transforms his magic reserves into fire without needing a chant.
