Watchfinder & Co. is one of my three “I hope there’s a new video today” channels that I check every morning and the only one about watches. Between your new “shorts”, the longer “talking mics” and the original “talking hands” versions such as this one, I must say I prefer this original format. I find your production quality for all of the versions top notch, however I enjoy the level of detail, trivia, and humour delivered in your calm manner in this original format. As such, I constantly recommend Watchfinder & Co to those interested in learning more about watches.
Would really love to see a behind the scenes video on the process of making these great videos, recording the audio, the B roll, etc. Thanks in advance
It's not that clean pay attention you can clearly see a bit of metal, plastic something just in front of the number 4 .and to think they charge thousands for these and can't even manage to make sure the dial is properly cleaned
3:58 that ‘8’ cutout looks like done by my 4 year old son. With a plastic knife. In the dark. While he is holding his teddy bear in his right arm. And he is righthanded by the way.
I think the Moser Venturer Vantablack would allow for a quite philosophical and great episode. It would be so fantastic to see how you would approach this fascinating peace. Thanks for all the great vids.
As a Panerai Luminor owner since 2001, I just can't stop to be amazed by its simplicity and ruggedness. At the time friends suggested me to buy, Omega, Breitling, even a second hand Rolex as better "investment" options than a "fashion victim" Panerai, but no. Years later Panerai proved itself a good investment too. Not as Rolex of course, but that would have been sold. My Luminor is still with me. As every watch collector would answer to the question "Which is the perfect first watch?" I am the personification of that answer "The one that you will never sell because it talks to your soul". Never regretted the purchase, still wearing in this days and most important, still so mine that even close friends and relatives notice when it's not on my wrist. Collection grew up a bit and I like to wear all my watches, but the Luminor is still my favourite. I know there are way better watches, more prestigious, more valuable, more cool. But I don't care. Because it became a part of me, of my style, of my life, of who I am. Well done Panerai. Well done Watchfinder.
Agreed. I owned a Sub and PAM372 but it’s the Panerai that gives me the smiles whenever it wear it. It have such a character and soul to it, something a Submariner lacks. The only thing Rolex gives is the status and recognition.
@@fez877 Well to me yes and no. I don't like the "bling bling" culture and of course everything that is used to achieve that status, to my eyes passes by without touching me. But I also admit that Rolex are iconic and I kinda like them and cannot argue about their marketing strategy. They are not for me.
This is the first Panerai that I would consider adding to my collection. I like the syringe type hands and the Roman & Arabic numbering scheme. At last Panerai is using its Italian design routes to make this watch attractive.
I agree. The macro shots are not kind to this dial. But I kinda don't care. The California dial, a Minerva movement, rose gold and an incredible history. Killer. But I'm old. And those elements resonate with me more than those who still have puppy breath. Mr. Hands: You also have a soft spot for Panerai, no? Didn't you sell your Sub for a GMT, and the GMT for a Panerai? Or am I misremembering...
Love your videos and the flowery commentary. See if you can get hold of Vincent Calabrese Night and Day, a watch I consider one of the most beautiful. Cheers.
Amazing video, and the macros… Wondering if you could find a Wyler Geneve Chronograph to review, it’s a brand which doen’t exist anymore, but they made that special watch with some kind of movement which is absorving shock through some springs… anyway maybe is not interesting enough since the manufacturer doesn’t exist
I'll review your thought, perhaps research into a cost comparison, but with all the releases after W&W it may be prudent to do more deep-dives (research).
What's with the debris on the 20 min marker? That would drive me made. Panerai has always been a kit-car-like watch company and I see nothing has changed.
Very classy, but out of reach for me, especially as a Rose Gold presentation. But….. you never know. 🇨🇦. That bloody little speck dancing around the 4:00 position is giving me anxiety. 😝
I'm not a fan of most Panerai offering, due mainly to that ungainly (I'm a poet and just don't know it🤪) but I actually really like this one. Gorgeous finish with a gorgeous chronograph dial. Sadly, like just about every watch other than a Casio I can't afford one..👍
Never been a fan of the appendage lockdown mechanism know to be Panerai’s design que , but this one is very interesting and does not deviate to far from their design language. Under micro though (as others pointed out) it is a bit disappointing.
Do they even bother to clean and wipe down the watches here before filming anymore? 🤷♂️👀 oh and this movement incorporates a horizontal not a vertical clutch!
"- What time is it, please?! " -It is precisely ▼: _ my good sir" " Ah! I see you own a Panerai Radiomir 1940 Chronograph Oro Rosso PAM00519. Carry on, then."
When I think of Panerai I think of unbelievably cheap movements and a penchant of lying to customers about the quality of their products. But that's just me.
okay, am I the only one here wondering why on hell not a single watch youtuber is addressing the recent panerai's movement perpetual downgrading scam? how they silently without any announcement or notification removed the hacking seconds feature, dropped the finishing of the movement, yet still has the nerve to refer to it as P.9010 "Evolution"? Just why?
Why the hell would you put roman numerals on the tops of the dial and arabic numerals on the bottom , as someone who doesn't like roman numerals on a watch it just ruins the whole look of the dial
Thank you for posting your classic no-nonsense, educational video instead of the silly microphones. I was about to unsubscribe. This video persuaded me to give you another chance.
We know you want more watches…. click here: linktr.ee/watchfinder

I love to see that Minerva is kept going so nicely. Love the heritage here
Would really love to see a behind the scenes video on the process of making these great videos, recording the audio, the B roll, etc.

Keep going Watchfinder! The best watch specialist channel :)
These sorts of videos are good, but the commentary videos from last couple weeks (moonswatch, etc.) are pretty much uninformed filler garbage.
@@Chris-es3wf they still did a great job there. :) How could they review a watch if they don't the watch itself yet? :)
That is suchhhh a clean watch. Rose gold is gonna throw it away outta my budget lol
It's not that clean pay attention you can clearly see a bit of metal, plastic something just in front of the number 4 .and to think they charge thousands for these and can't even manage to make sure the dial is properly cleaned
The spot between the 4 and the 20....... I can't unsee it...... the rest of the watch is super gorgeous
3:58 that ‘8’ cutout looks like done by my 4 year old son. With a plastic knife. In the dark. While he is holding his teddy bear in his right arm. And he is righthanded by the way.
THIS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED CHANNEL FOR YOUNG WATCH ENTHUSIASTS LIKE ME. I HOPE THIS CHANNEL WILL GET MORE POPULARITY.
I think the Moser Venturer Vantablack would allow for a quite philosophical and great episode. It would be so fantastic to see how you would approach this fascinating peace. Thanks for all the great vids.
Second this
If I'm not mistaken he has covered a Vantablack HMC b4, or maybe I am mistaken
I would appreciate that too!
Stunning watch, stunning cinematography, stunning commentary. Thank you Gentlemen 👍🏻👍🏻
Finally you are back with your great and unique videos 👌🏻
I love Panerai. Their dealers have always been lovely and had great pieces every time I’ve walked in. Looking forward to having one soon.
The Radiomir 1940 is one of the most beautiful watch cases ever made
I know I can't afford a Patek or Vacheron but I do enjoy these videos immensely
Thank you for keeping the original music. In my opinion its a crucial part of the brand. It also pairs perfectly with the incredible visuals.

You know how to live "wear your watches." I respect it.
Meh...
rolex sucks. buy OMEGA

Great video, as always! And what a beautiful timepiece. They should bring back radium paint lol!
The movement may be an example of watchmaking mastery but the imperfection at the 4 is hurting my eyes.
That must be one of the best looking watches you can find. Bravo!
Wow this is gorgeous. Well done Panerai.
You got me with uphill both ways. Priceless.
Funfact: You can donate half your liver and it generates fairly fast, so you can -sell- donate it several times.
This is the first Panerai that I would consider adding to my collection. I like the syringe type hands and the Roman & Arabic numbering scheme. At last Panerai is using its Italian design routes to make this watch attractive.
Genuinely could get lost in that movement, its incredible!
Its absolutely beautiful... It reminds me of the AP 11.59
That's a loud "WOW!".
Awesome watch… I mean it is really beautiful. Glad to see the quality is worthy of its pedigree.
I am in no way a Panerai enthusiast, but the aesthetics of this piece makes this one the only one of this brand I’d own.
I agree. The macro shots are not kind to this dial. But I kinda don't care. The California dial, a Minerva movement, rose gold and an incredible history. Killer. But I'm old. I have had a few and have a hankering for a few more!
Love your videos and the flowery commentary. See if you can get hold of Vincent Calabrese Night and Day, a watch I consider one of the most beautiful. Cheers.
Superb as ever - no contest the best watch content available.
Sublime Watch. And their historic relationship with Rolex is fascinating. Love Panerai.
Amazing video, and the macros…

Why does that one gear in the centre have so many teeth when it seems to only mesh with the more rugged gear with fewer and beefier teeth?
I'll review your thought, perhaps research into a cost comparison, but with all the releases after W&W it may be prudent to do more deep-dives (research).
Beautiful piece
would you make a PAM329 review? It'd be great
You got me at winds of winter
That was a deep cut. Maybe one day we’ll get that book, only been waiting since 2011.
Beautiful watch, especially the movement, but I don't believe that's vertical clutch, unless I missed something.
What's with the debris on the 20 min marker?
That would drive me made. Panerai has always been a kit-car-like watch company and I see nothing has changed.
Couldnt find it anywhere. What’s the price on this piece?
Never knew this watch existed! Thanks for sharing 😊
Beautiful timepiece!
Nice, but shame it’s only 30m water resistant.
The bottom of the watch shows 50m.
It’s 50m, but FFS…who do you know that would EVER take this into the water?!! 😂
@@bradtrent5298 If you fall in to the water by accident while on the beech, you don't have to worry.
They should have Minerva also finish the hands. Otherwise gorgeous piece
Do you work in the shop?
Very classy, but out of reach for me, especially as a Rose Gold presentation. But….. you never know. 🇨🇦. That bloody little speck dancing around the 4:00 position is giving me anxiety. 😝
I hope you guys should release some wallpapers 😁
Action heroes of Hollywood will love this ...
8.13 not so clean on the inside uh?
Great review, really enjoy 👍
What’s up with the white spot on the “20”
Panerai's answer to Speedy's "dot-over-90"? 😄
The Steven He reference cracked me up
This is a nice pam indeed. Anyone has any idea how much this cost?
I'm not a fan of most Panerai offering, due mainly to that ungainly (I'm a poet and just don't know it🤪) but I actually really like this one.
Gorgeous finish with a gorgeous chronograph dial. Sadly, like just about every watch other than a Casio I can't afford one..👍
Cool watch, and a cool history, grate job 🤙🏻
Those numeral cutouts seem really ruff to me.
Never been a fan of the appendage lockdown mechanism know to be Panerai’s design que , but this one is very interesting and does not deviate to far from their design language. Under micro though (as others pointed out) it is a bit disappointing.
Great video, I’m a huge fan of your work!
Though I think this watch has a lateral clutch, not a vertical clutch (7:42) 🤷🏼♂️
Yeah, it looks like it! Good notice sir!
Thats the first Panerai I consider buying.
What a beautiful voice !!!👍👍
Not big on Panerai watches, but this one is pretty
Interesting video thanks. It would be best to give a disclaimer that you're also owned by Richemont
An absolutely beautiful beast!
Precioso , pero tendrá un precio indecentemente elevado
Beautiful watch!
There's like five Radiomirs left. I don't like the direction Panerai has chosen and I was looking forward to one.
Do they even bother to clean and wipe down the watches here before filming anymore? 🤷♂️👀 oh and this movement incorporates a horizontal not a vertical clutch!
I forgot crown guard😵
Looks nice
I love that watch
"- What time is it, please?!
" -It is precisely ▼: _ my good sir"
" Ah! I see you own a Panerai Radiomir 1940 Chronograph Oro Rosso PAM00519. Carry on, then."
Wow amazing... so cool 😎
Love all their watches just too damn big.
Radiomir > Luminor. Clean
Tudor BB Pro
Is this real? I hope you asked someone other than Panerai!
I'd pay 50k for that PAM 00519 before a buying a PP or an AP........
Please include subtitles in your videos
Interesting watch. Pity that Panerai is such a tainted brand now. I would not touch them with a bargepole.
When I think of Panerai I think of unbelievably cheap movements and a penchant of lying to customers about the quality of their products. But that's just me.
So...
The Professor Hulk watch.
4min. 20.....
That is another Beautiful Timepiece I can't afford. .lol
The hair on the lense at 2:51 had me reaching for my microfibre cloth to wipe my iPad screen 🤣
Panerai I would actually buy.... Strange.
Why are they called "California Dials" then?
okay, am I the only one here wondering why on hell not a single watch youtuber is addressing the recent panerai's movement perpetual downgrading scam? how they silently without any announcement or notification removed the hacking seconds feature, dropped the finishing of the movement, yet still has the nerve to refer to it as P.9010 "Evolution"? These are your best style videos. Personally I can’t stand the other style where you chat with a mate..
Are you conserving your energy!!!!
Why the hell would you put roman numerals on the tops of the dial and arabic numerals on the bottom , as someone who doesn't like roman numerals on a watch it just ruins the whole look of the dial
👍
please wipe the dusty crystal ~! 😃
by the way beautiful watch, and commentary !
"A Brit with a stiff upper lip, who walked to school in driving snow each day, uphill both ways". Where did you grow up? Yorkshire?
Thank you for posting your classic no-nonsense, educational video instead of the silly microphones. I was about to unsubscribe. This video persuaded me to give you another chance.
MMM...tidy AF
Almost a Radiomir id wear!! That California dial ruins it though :( not a fan of those dials at all.
That movement is pure watch porn.
Now that you guys have finally stepped up to 4K for the higher bitrate. Please for the love of god. Fix. Your. Audio.
