    Designer Leather Hip Bag Tutorial by Fischer Workshops (Full HD)
    Description -
    The leather hip bag was designed to look and work great! Opens conveniently and closes very securely. Also can hold several large cell phones, wallet, and more. The files for this pattern include a lot of details to help you make this product. For convenience and cutting accuracy I recommend spending a little more for the acrylic template for this project. You won't regret it!
    How I stained the leather -
    Leather was stained using two products:
    1st I applied Feibings tan antique dye and wiped off excess. This dye is very waxy and will serve somewhat as a buffer to the final stain. It prevents the stain I apply later from absorbing too quickly into the leather allowing me to be more creative with the way it's absorbed into the leather.
    2nd I apply multiple coats of eco-flo's professional dark brown water stain. Apply in circular motions until you achieve your desired results.

    Question about your dying process: you use tan antique dye, then wipe off excess - when I use this product and color on vegtan, it leaves my vegtan really, like really excessively glossy. It makes the leather look like plastic (as I assume the antique dye is full of acrylic). How did your leather come out so matte? It is the exact tan I'm looking for, but cannot achieve without that terrible gloss. Thanks!

      I use a lot of different brands, but Kyoshin Elle and Barry King are amongst some of my favorites. If you ever have the opportunity I would visit a leather trade show and try out a lot of the different brands and qualities available.

    If you chose to sell this commercially, do you have to pay royalties to the concho maker? What are the legal issues of selling products with other peoples products adorning yours? No issue if you designed and built the concho, but if someone else did.......? You make excellent leather products, really nice clean work. You have skills.

    • @FischerWorkshopsTaiwan
      @FischerWorkshopsTaiwan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shouldn't need to pay any royalties, but you can always double check with the maker. Thanks
