Having been a yacht mechanic, seeing an engine compartment that squared away is nice. Easy access front and back of the motor is such a time/ money saver!
THis is like a mini fishing vessel/ship. Ive never seen a boat this size with this kind of layout. Extremely unique! I would want a higher cruising speed and or top speed just in case I got caught in some sketchy seas and currents. That said, Im sold! This put a smile on my face.
She is a gem for sure! Below the video is the manufacturers info, feel free to ask them about what changes in power can be made or if that works with this vessel. Thanks for watching!
@@Ivan-pl2itunlike most European languages, English has only a very few nouns with associated gender, ships and boats are among these, and they are always female. If this bothers you, maybe see a list of male nouns in French and see if that makes you feel better 😊
Boats are referred to as female because of the similarities to human women. They are expensive, complicated, usually overly complicated, sometimes bitchy, and often difficult to deal with, and the greatest and worst thing to ever happen to a man... You're welcome 😁
Thanks for the tour. It's great to see more coverage on the SeaPiper...only a few vids out there that I've found. Interesting boat that looks like it will suit the needs for lots of people. Hope to see one out on the waters someday.
Had my eye on this pocket cruiser for a bit now. There’s some good videos of it making the crossing to the Bahamas. I also agree it would be a good great loop or Great Lakes boat.
I actually gave serious thought to buying one of these, just couldn't get over the downsides of crossing the open midships area to get to the berth in less than ideal weather.
I'd imagine a bimini or something similar that can be moved out of the way when more sun/light is preffered could be built over the exposed area for not that much money.
This is perfect for NY. I live a stones throw from the Erie Canal and vacation in Champlain all the time. If it can do that, then it can also access two of the finger lakes.
(Just a casual viewer here) A little more speed might be wanted for returning in inlets with higher waves, or do you just pick 'good days'?(But a good seaman would be able to well) Seems the design trades cabin room for deck room. And getting between the forward cabin and aft will be an issue on wet days. (A problem with Fletcher class destroyers too.) Going to Florida, how is the cabin ventalation? Any good sea berths for sleeping while under way? Still it looks like an easy to handle boat for an older couple. And does a lot on a small hull. And probably quite fuel effecient. The side access openings would be great for a boarding ladder. Getting onto the boat with scuba gear is much easier at the center is much less effected by pitching from swells at a dive site, and boarding the dinghy. The 'trailerable' comment could be better defined. The 8' 6" beam means it can be trailered without requiring a wide/oversize load permit which makes trailering the boat much easier as oversize loads are quite restricted. If you want to be picky 14 to 16 foot wide boats can be 'traiilered'.
The manufacturer's info is below the video for these questions. We get rain in the pacific northwest, kind of laugh at umbrellas too. You are on the water after all. Thanks for watching.
37’ and no separate shower? Are there any cockpit shelter solutions for intense sun or rain? How about a better review of the mechanical spaces? How about fitting a watermaker? Double sink? The list goes on…. Touted as “Trailerable,” but no further description? I would like to see an in depth review that addresses more considerations.
I also got the feeling this boat did not make lots of use of her 37 foot length in terms of living spaces. But a fuel tank to get her 1000 NM range will demand some room
This walk thru was done at the dock at a boat show. We had limited time but felt he was quite knowledgeable! For further information needed or questions answered such as these, the manufacturer's info is below the video. Thanks for watching.

It has 2,000 lbs of Ballast, engine low in the hull and an optional Seakeeper2 gyro stabilizer system. I am sure you can find videos of this great vessel. Thank you for commenting.
2021 F-150 with a 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine: With the Max Trailer Tow Package, the 4x2 SuperCab 8' box and SuperCrew® 4x2 configurations can tow up to 14,000 lbs. Easily tows as long as you don't have a full gas tank and a lot of weight added. This engine has 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the reply. I must apologize, however. I’m skeptical that an F150 can tow a 37’ yacht. I would need to do further research in that regard.
FYI . Based on the comments I read... The boat is reasonably customizable, it has 2 sinks-1 hand sink in berth head plus large in galley, 2 showers -aftdeck & other wethead shower, heating and cooling plus you can get a diesel heater for colder climates. It's designed for 2 adults but can sleep 4 and comfortably have 6 on board. It is for folks who want to travel distance up to 1000 knots or 1700kms for * math approximation* If diesel was $5US/1US gallon then at 5.5 to 6 knots speeds your fuel costs is roughly the same or about $5.5 to $6US. At full speed, about 9.5knots it is 1/2 the non fuel stopped distance or about double the cost, depending on how 🤔 look at it. I don't know for sure ,but I think adding a watermaker is doable.
Checked the math for knots to km = 1.852 or 1,852 kms on a full tank of fuel at cruising speeds around 6 knots . Hopefully it helps you understand the nitch it is aimed at. A couple with limited funds having good value for a capable craft . Ease of use, safety for just offshore, limited previous experience, technology covers most common needs and available Starlink service in case of emergency. There is no redundant systems otherwise.
This can't accommodate a washer and dryer, however many options can be custom ordered on vessels. Please see a link to the manufacturer below in the description. Thanks for watching!
I remember when these first came out 6 or 7 years ago, their market niche was affordable boating. Price was around $130,000 BRAND NEW! its about double that now but what a steal back then!
In the Pacific Northwest we seldom use umbrellas and are accustomed to rain. Boats on the water mean you will get a bit of spray on deck normally. We really think she is a great pocket cruiser. Thanks for watching.
It would be a great boat if I didn't need a space to use as an art space/studio for when I live aboard for lengths of time. Wonderful design and feels cozy.
Oh wow, how I would love to live on it, go fishing, and make livestreams and videos... this boat is an absolute dream!! Unfortunately, I will never be able to afford something like this.
The narrow beam of this boat and Seakeeper are a good match or she will be rolling a lot in unprotected beam seas. I have a Seakeeper 5 on a larger trawler and they work quite well, with no protusions outside the hull to hit or snag things.
You would have to be on the boat to feel her stability. She has a low engine placement, well centered weight distribution, 2,000 lbs of Lead ballast and yes adding the Sea Keeper is a great option. Pocket trawler meant for intercoastal waters! Easy to trailer with even a 2021 F-150. Thanks for watching.
Find a position for a washer/dryer combo and this is the best small live-aboard I have ever seen. Not a long ranger but long enough to get the job done.
Very Cool Layout, I think 3 more feet added to the length of the forward berth would give the space to make a separate shower, otherwise this little ship has plenty of real good design ideas going for He😊
Yeah, I could make this work with Son fore and wife and I in the salon... and galley... and pilot house... OH, sorry, got carried away. But, 2 heads and berths would be more rightsized. Generally, seems, 40' is the threshold.
In the Pacific Northwest, air conditioning is rare on this sized vessel. It isn't needed as the weather here is more temperate. Larger boats will have generators, this has battery packs. Thanks for watching.
3 Solar panels but how many watts are they each? How many amp/hrs are the batteries? What sort of lithium are they? What is the capacity of the charge controller? Does the charge controller use a DC to DC charger off the start battery and will it charge the start battery from solar when the engine is not running? Fridge/freezer capacity? External camera/FLIR? V berth “accomodations”, there’s one bed so that’s not a plural word. It’s pretty cramped up there. Shower? Not sure if you filmed this with a phone but use the wide angle lens please.

That would be a nice cruiser but i cant see being on the ocean in it with 8 mph top speed in bad weather seems like its too slow for such a small boat to me
Wonder if the it would be possible to have the head in the very bow, and maybe a double berth on the side where the head currently is. Just a thought. Love the boat though, just need to win the lottery 🙏
Very neat looking engine room but I'm surprised to see the use of PVC for the raw water manifold. PVC can crack from vibration and age and would melt in a fire leading to potential sinking. Insurance surveyors would likely call for its replacement. See video at 3:05.
I was concerned about the beam until he said “sea keeper” the last salmon trawler I worked on had that system. No birds or “flopper stoppers” required. She sat so flat in the ditch we had swells slop across the deck in sloppy conditions. If your not familiar, these boat stabilization systems can make the difference between sea sick or doing fine for some people.
We generally do not post prices in our videos because they have the tendency to fluctuate. However we post links below our videos with the manufacturers information to contact. Thanks for watching!
I'm on the fence here..nice idea, but I question a few things. First of all, the amount of water that has clearly dripped into the area under the centre cockpit; clearly not very watertight and I wonder what it would look like after a few days of rain. I also don't see the point of solar panels, you're not going anywhere offshore or remote with this boat, especially with such a shallow draft, which brings me to my next point, basically no keel so I wonder how much leeway she makes if there's a strong tide or current running? I suspect the autopilot is going to be working pretty hard. Also, I think visibility from the helm could be an issue too. Finishes look nice, I think she'd be fun for the ICW but can't imagine taking her anywhere else.
It has a water tight seal and is no more or less going to have a little water in the bilge then any other boat in the Pacific Northwest. Condensation is pretty common out here as well. On board we saw no issue with helm visuals and questions can be sent to the manufacturer at the link below the video. Thanks for watching!

5 miles per gallon ? I don't know that seems a little high to me . Also I don't really like the idea of leaving the Pilot House going out in the weather to get to the living quarters

We appreciate your knowledge and thanks for watching!
@@yachtlens currently discussing this vessel with my wife…. She isn’t impressed 😢
What is the price of the boat
We generally do not post prices in our videos because they have the tendency to fluctuate. However we post links below our videos with the manufacturers information to contact. Thanks for watching!
nice
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching.
I'm loving it !!!
Us also! Thank you for commenting!
Goldilocks boat right there. I LOVE that.
I like that, thanks for watching.
My dream boat❤
Yes indeed. Thanks for watching.
Engine room not very watertight! Or did someone leave the hatch open?

5 miles per gallon ? I don't know that seems a little high to me .
Also I don't really like the idea of leaving the Pilot House going out in the weather to get to the living quarters
Manufacturers details are below the video. Thanks for watching.
Looks like an Albin in reverse. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome and thank you for watching!
Espdtaculo. Esse é um barco de verdade!!!!

She sure is and thank you for watching!
the style reminds me of a pumpout boat
She is a pocket cruiser ideal for the Pacific Northwest. If you have been on a pump out boat, you may change your mind quite quickly. Thanks for watching.
Where do the fish go?
Where ever you want to fish! Out in the Pacific Northwest, its great fishing. Thanks for watching.

Couple see this being a pretty great Bahamas cruiser, draft & layout
Thank you for commenting and we agree!
Why is it all wet down there?
In the Pacific Northwest and on the water as she is, that is condensation! We know firsthand being several decade boaters ourselves! She has 5 airtight compartments. Thanks for watching!
в море когда сам за штурвалом - чем проще - тем лучше !! ))
