Sorry this took so long, I just really tried to find a way to make using bows look appealing. This playthrough was fun for sure, but bow combat in old FE's are just not as flashy as other weapons. - เกม

@@maltheopia Huh, I don’t really understand what you’re talking about. Also, Leif’s army commits the most war crimes out of everyone. It literally captures people, takes all their weapons and kills them later even if they are unarmed.
Imagine being better at using Bows at base vs your daughter who bases her entire unit design around using a bow.

Dagdar with his colossal second highest hp base in the game... shows up chapter 1. The only person who feels like they entirely benefit from accost. What an absolute beast of a man.

these characters were already meme worthy then you get to the ending and just wow LOL.
Accost lowkey makes Dagdar one of the best bow-users in this series. Seriously, just look at that ridiculous HP pool of his. And while I understand Pugi/Earth/King sword supremacy, Thracia gives some extremely badass bows.
It also helps that he is Dagdar with his insane bases and growths that can be Buff with scrolls to insane degrees.
Thracia has the coolest weapons in the series don't @ me

This definitely soothes my bow-loving soul. I also appreciate the sheer effort put into a bow unit from an older game _and_ making bow combat look not dull. Much as I love em, bows from earlier titles lack both the flair that you'd see in a sword or axe or somethin and the combat ability from not having 1 range. Aye, bows had it rough back in the day D:

Dagdar really is one of the most fun units in the series. He's got all the buff prowess you'd want of a Jagen, he captures shit, and he's got just enough downsides to be interesting.
Also, I love how you didn't even give him crazy stats or anything. Sure, it looks like he got some time with a Ced Scroll, but other than that, he's not far off from base.
he has shit growth but he manage to stay relevant till endgame. He is that great.

Cleansing Thracia of evil wasn't enough. After the war, Dagdar went on to cleanse the soil itself.

Ok, I have a request that I've truthfully never tried myself: Lex!Arthur. Once at promotion, give him a brave sword for vantage wrath double crit mayhem. Paragon will also help while trying to get there.

Theoritically, I remember the devs trying to design Dagdar with higher stats than an usual Jagen/Jeigan archetype character would have to just alleviate the intense difficulty of Thracia 776... And then there are creative people like THIS.

It was my request, I always train Dagdar's bow rank in this game because I find bow Jeigan hilarious. Came back to this video after shortbow-ing some scrub in 2x
I dunno I never used axe dagdar, I find he takes too much hit using the axes. But Bow he just destroy the enemy, if he does not one shot him he accost him to death. He is great and actually kill stuff and do not die automatically like say selphina. Both Ronan and Tanya can't kill shit. Xavier and Dagdar are the only archers worth their salt in this game. In the series basically only the super OP archer in gaiden and also Shinon and Faval are worth anything as archers.

Right now it's between ELO and Capital Cities, I've been binging their music without stop lately
not gonna lie Dagdar is the best archer outside of Shinon and Faval in the entire series. He makes every other bow units looks bad including Xavier, Selphina, Robert etc. There is ZERO competition for Brave Bow unlike every other weapon in the game so indeed if you plan on training any archer dagdar is the man for the job. Takes a while to get the rank but he is better then real archers
