- I was checking an app I downloaded for my iPod and came upon a bunch of photos and clip art of Cub Cadets. Decided to make a small video tribute to the narrow frame Cub Cadets. Just a quickie. I saw a lot of photos that were shared by internet users. Nice variety. The narrow frame Cubs have held up well for almost 50 years. Can't say that about what is being built today. Enjoy the show. I got my first narrow frame today. My dad had several but I bought my own 70.
calling these tractors tough is the understatement of the year. i own several and they are rock solid.
my favorites are the 102 the 100 and then my 123

Super Video, Excellent Job!!!!!! Now that I got a Wide Frame 169, so impressed with it allready, I'm on the Hunt for a older Narrow Frame Model, Not sure which one to Shoot For, i guess they're all about equal.
I decide to call my 169 'Ol Yeller

I can say I'm lucky to own one of those narrow frames, Cub 124, started with wheel horse, still like my 3 WH C-series, but gotta admit it the drive shaft and looks of the cub cadets like me even more, not to member the colors, love that yellow color, by the way mine still have the original seat with the blue trim around it.

People wonder what I like to do for fun and I tell em I like playing with my cubs. They ask what's so fun about a lawn mower and I just laugh.

hi im looking at this and im seeing a few with what look like winter studded tires on them? is there a size that fits these? i have a 129 i think and just the turf tires and i live in canada so i know i should use chains but i wouldnt mind using an old set of winters if theres a size that fits? is there anyone that might know this?

Just wait until you have to work on a narrow frame that you will hate them. I hate narrow frames wide frames are where it’s at.
