Also, We were not allowed to use muzzle covers as it was our duty to keep the weapon system clean, I guess things are getting 'Easy'

Earlier in my years as a Marine Raider I got to do the exchange program with the Royal Marines at Lympstone, got the good old lympschwits treatment. Went through several of the tests and training regimes and it was as tough as the Raider school. It wouldn't surprise me if the commando training is as hard as any SF school in America.

The PTI reminds me of most of our engineers on ship. The majority of them were gym rats. A good chunk were also part of our VBSS team.

You have to watch "55 year old Royal Marine Commando" by Chris Terrill. While making a documentary about it he also takes the course. It's an outstanding display of pure will to finish.

I'm 17 at the moment and I will be starting my basic training when I'm 18 and even these tests look hard and are really difficult I'm actually really buzzing to do them
The idea of doing all this is exiting for me and watching you talk about the royal marines helps me stay motivated and looking forward to getting my green beret
