One of the best animations I’ve ever seen, I like to think about how it might fit in the TF2 universe too. Maybe Gunn is Saxton Hale’s distant British cousin and he’s sending the Mercs to show him some Australian love, or maybe he’s spy’s rival and getting the Vulkanite is literally just a game for him.
if i had a nickel for every time i saw someone use one of my barbie edits i made as an avatar, i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice. i do love that latter theory though; he would definitely be british and that's all the reason spy would need to be his rival

RØß TM actually, if you look closely, the window is slanted, yet the merks reflect as if the window was vertical. So it was obviously done with some kind of postprocessing. Most likely the scene was rendered from another angle and put in in some third party software.
3:53 - 4:00 I had to watch that part like 5 times because that was so goddamn smooth. Also glad to see the doggo got out okay, thats really all that matters.
Also, his Revolver isn't meant for assassinations, but more for picking off wounded targets. Besides, silencers in TF2 would be pretty useless, take the Hitman's Heatmaker for instance, it got a silencer on it and it still makes plenty of noise.

Is no one going to talk about the swimming in the first minute? The sheer fluidity and natural-ness of it stood out to me because I really wasn't expecting that from an SFM video.
The first time watching this, the only way I could describe my emotions over the ending was 4:52. After cooling down and thinking a bit, I realized they basically used the scenario from the first Indiana Jones movie after Indy got the idol and escaped the booby traps. Letting the mp do all the hardwork, and then swoop in and steal his prize, humiliating him as well.
