I love how in this Source Filmmaker animation, the Blu Team and mainly Blu Scout are the Protagonists in this, and the Red Team are the Antagonists, its like a good and bad role swap
2:33 finally, someone makes the correct reference to spy vising scouts mother. Red spy is banging blue scouts mother, until evidence comes up that blue spy is also banging red scouts mother then it's just red spy banging blue scouts mother.
I loved how you used the position tool to extend and bend limbs in funny ways, as well as enlarging the head of some of the cast at points. It was a bit weird at times, but it defiantly gives it a unique bouncy look and makes it look more like a classic cartoon, which I imagine is what you were going for.
I just can't appreciate someone who tries to win a Saxxy by sheer quantity of videos instead of making one great video displaying their every ounce of effort and work.
The scene where the RED Heavy takes the shotgun from the dead Soldier has ben cut out. What are the other differences in this version? Edit: the scene with the RED Sniper shooting at Scout has also been removed.
I can tell that Scout babysitting Heavy’s baby son in this video was based on Who Framed Roger Rabbit in the very beginning of the movie where he had to babysit Herman or the Mom with get very Angry 😡 if he was not careful. that was a magnificent reference by the way 👍
The whole trying to keep a baby out of danger when you're supposed to be babysitting is a pretty old trope. That said though, you also brought in some fresh ideas to this short. The fight sequence with Spy was very well done and had a style to it that I just loved. The realistic heart eyes gag you threw in there was also really good. This get's a vote from me. I'm curious though how you were able to get the voting page for your video like that. I have 2 entries of my own, but the Saxxy Awards Steam page isn't public yet or something, because clicking the Saxxy Awards tag on an entry only takes me to the front page of the workshop.
